Bernadetta was a wonderful guide. Very friendly and knowledgeable. The Vatican is so crowded and I feel like if I was there without a guide I would have missed a lot of history. Great experience!

Itinerary
Immerse yourself in centuries of art and culture at the Vatican Museums, one of the world's most renowned art collections. Housed within the Vatican City, these museums boast an extraordinary collection amassed by popes over centuries. Beyond the Sistine Chapel, visitors will encounter a vast array of masterpieces. Explore the Raphael Rooms and marvel at the frescoes that defined the High Renaissance. The Pinacoteca houses a treasure trove of paintings by renowned artists such as Raphael, Caravaggio, and Leonardo da Vinci. For art and history enthusiasts, the Vatican Museums offer a journey through time. Explore the ancient world in the Pio-Clementino Museum with iconic sculptures like the Apollo del Belvedere and the Laocoön. Delve into the mysteries of ancient Egypt and Etruria in the Gregorian Egyptian Museum and the Gregorian Etruscan Museum.
The Sistine Chapel is renowned for its stunning frescoes, particularly Michelangelo's masterpieces. The chapel's ceiling is adorned with breathtaking scenes from the Book of Genesis, painted by Michelangelo between 1508 and 1512. These frescoes, including the iconic creation of Adam, are considered one of the greatest artistic achievements of the Renaissance. On the chapel's altar wall, Michelangelo's later work, "The Last Judgment," is a powerful and awe-inspiring depiction of the end of the world. This monumental fresco covers the entire wall and is filled with intricate details and dramatic figures. Beyond Michelangelo's masterpieces, the chapel's walls are decorated with vibrant frescoes by other Renaissance masters, including Botticelli, Perugino, and Ghirlandaio. These works depict scenes from the lives of Moses and Christ and showcase the artistic talent of the era.

Superb tour! Cannot recommend Alexandra enough as a guide. Really brought Ancient Rome to life! We enjoyed every minute.
Frederica was absolutely amazing. She was informative, funny, kind and answered every question. I would do every guided tour with her if I could!
The tour was really enjoyable and went by pretty quickly. The explanations were clear and interesting, and overall it was a great experience. The guide was also very considerate and always tried to find a spot in the shade so we could be more comfortable.
Brilliant guide very helpful and informative and friendly
Amazing experience, Berna was very knowledgeable and passionate about the subject matter. Thanks you for making our first experience in Rome amazing
It’s summer and very hot in there with few spaces having air conditioning. That being said our guide was phenomenal and it was worth the sweat!
I have taken many, many tours and had excellent tours through viator- this was the absolute WORST and too expensive for the quality. Despite small tour, tour guide was hard to hear (and no audio offered) and some provided information that was either wrong or unhelpful. For example, he would point to a map and say that's a map. Or point to an urn and say that's an urn. Talked about myths as if they were facts (we had studied up before coming) and added little value. Tour was not efficient in the heat (which was bad at 8:30 so can't imagine later in the day) and he didn't read the crowd, there were only 6 of us and some VERY miserable teenagers. Half way through he saw how unhappy they were and said you can go if you want. Maybe it was lost in translation but it came across as incredibly rude and felt like he dismissed us from the tour. Get your own tickets and an audio guide, 1/10th of the price and more information. Or use other company. Terrible.
Extremely disappointed. This was not an early bird tour as marketed. We lined up behind hundreds of people to enter the museum and were let in when opened to the public. Our guide Julia was disheveled, disinterested in answering our questions and provided very little information about what we were viewing. She mumbled over the headset given so what we could gather was very limited. The thousands of people being herded through the museum made it hard to keep up with our guide as she ran through the exhibits. We traveled with another group who paid half the price and had a way better guide that entered the museum at the same time as we did. Would not recommend the early entrance option as it was no different than the general admission. You may also be better off getting an audio guide as our guide provided very little/unclear information.
Great tour and great guide. Lots of really interesting information provided.
Our Vatican tour was one of the highlights of our trip to Rome. Our guide, Simona, was incredibly knowledgeable and brought the history, art, and significance of the Vatican to life in a way that was both engaging and easy to understand. It was clear that she was genuinely passionate about the subject, and her enthusiasm was contagious. From the Vatican Museums to the Sistine Chapel, every stop was filled with fascinating stories and insights that we never would have appreciated on our own. Somehow, while other tour groups looked like they were running on fumes by the end, our group seemed to get more energized with every room. we may have been the only people leaving the Vatican with more energy than we arrived with! The tour was well-organized, informative, and paced perfectly. We left with a much deeper appreciation for the Vatican and all of its history. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Rome.
The tour guide was very nice and helpful, but if I were to do this again I would not go with a guide. The whole experience was very long and crowded. Next time I'd look for a self guided one so I wouldn't be stuck for hours in a crowded place trying to hear the tour guide and failing to do so for most of the time.
Simona was an excellent tour guide, who was fluent in English. Her commentary was informative & colloquial. She was knowledgable about history of the city & art, including details about many pieces. She made everyone laugh at different points. There was good pacing to accommodate all persons in the small group.
My wife and I used GetYourGuide and found this group for the Sistine Chapel, guided tour. We did have some difficulty finding the meet up place, as there was no associate outside with a flag, banner, or signage as requested for the meet up time requested by the agency. We later discovered a tiny flag behind metal bars in a window which was not easily visible when first arriving. Afterwards, We were connected with Bernadette, who was an immediate smiling face and welcoming personality for our group. She was very clear with direction, instruction, guidance, and was definitely “service first” minded! She was clearly well versed in her knowledge of the Vatican and surrounding area, and would highly recommend her to any of my friends or family. 15/10
We had a great experience touring the Vatican Museums with the knowledgeable Frederica from Tourismotion.
Easy to find meeting spot, friendly staff, organized, timely and our guide, Ale, was intelligent and so kind.
We had an excellent tour with Susanna! Despite there being so much to see in such little time, Susanna did an incredible job navigating our group throughout all that's amazing to see in the Vatican. It's clear she is a passionate professional, and we felt very well cared for with Susanna. The logistics were a breeze, from meet-up to entry into the Vatican, all went very smoothly and easily. Susanna seemed to know all the tips and tricks to avoid the crowds (as much as was possible), and show us all the amazing features. Overall incredible value for the experience and we would highly recommend to anyone visiting Rome to go on this tour! Thank you Susanna & the Tourismotion team!
On 29 May there is Nation strike. Public transport got affected by reducing service and very traffic. I was late 5 mins together with poor communication. They didn't get me with the tour. Not even try from their side. I know it's my fault that I was late but also nation things which I can't avoid it. My tour cost 100$. It's just gone. I informed them earlier before tour timing. But no mercy and understanding from their side. I won't recommend this to anyone. I miss the walking tour by just 5 mins late. I never miss a bus tour even 10 mins late. It doesn't make any sense. I tried to ask for help from their website Nothing help. I ask help from Tour is motion which is tour operator of this tour Nothing help. Worst experience. I asked them to send the ticket they don't. Like scammer.
Our tour guide Simona was fantastic. She talked about the art all around the Cistine Chapel with tons of knowledge and was quick to answer questions the group had about the art and architecture. She was very kind and helpful and spoke about the chapel and its history with elegance.
She is great! Very well explained and she is very nice and very knowledgeable Fully recommend Francesca for your tour guides
Went to Rome with my familie and Guilia was an excellent guide, Sicilian spoke amazing Spanish
Excellent great phanthastic Matilda, at the Vatican Museum. We learned and enjoyed the tour very much. Thanks
Bernadata has been the best tour guide we have ever had. She was very well knowledgeable, kind, and super interesting! We would go with her to any other tour without hesitation. It was an awesome experience!!
Our family of four (children ages 15 and 17) all loved our tour. Rosella was very informative and friendly. She did a great job highlighting important elements and keeping the small group of 10 moving along. The booking process, confirmation and meet up were all simple. This is a great option for native english speaker. 5/5 10/10 😃 a fantastic morning filled with art and memories.
Giulia was a very friendly and knowledgeable guide who truly enriched our experience. We thank her for that and reccomend her.
We had a lovely guided tour from Simona. Very charming and competent she show us all the details.
It was a nicetour with Matilde, 10 of 10
Meeting point was complete chaos. Be prepared. You and 10,000 of your closest friends getting “early bird” access…. Small group ballooned to 15. First hour of tour is getting into building and having everyone find bathrooms and getting water…. Not well scripted. Nothing special about route as you follow 80+ other groups thru same path. Once finally in you do get some good tidbits of the art work.
Our guide Bea was absolutely amazing! Totally worth the tour and even though there was a lot of people, she made the experience great.
I would say that it's very recommended to come here with a tour guide on your first visit. It's a vast museum and easy to get lost inside. Fredrica was a lovely and very experienced guide, she's very knowledgeable on all the art pieces and even years) it was very helpful that she knows all the history and years of the art pieces. It was also very helpful that all the staff knows her qns she brought us through convenient shortcuts. Very recommended!
Susana from Peru was awesome! She was kind and attentive to our every need. She took the time to explain the process and made sure we were all comfortable. She knows her history. She was wonderful. Again, she made sure everyone was comfortable and she did introductions in the beginning and everyone from the group felt welcomed and happy with her services. Susana made you feel like a friend. Thank you, Susana!
Great tour. It is so crowded so going early is great. Our tour guide was fantastic and so helpful. We really enjoyed the tour.
Rosa was our guide, she is so dedicated at her job, always open to answer any questions that the crowd will have, 10/10, I recommend it!
The views were amazing and the tour Gide explained everything perfectly. Her name was Simona. The experience was one of the best things I have seen.
Bea is an Amazing turísticos guide really beautiful tour she told us a lot of interesting things that normally y World not know
Susan of tourismotion it’s an incredible guide, she have a lot information of all practically. Makes the tour interactive and interesting. The best experience it’s whit Susan !
Bea was an incredible guide, very professional and super friendly. 100% recommend
The experience was spectacular. Cristina made the visit very enjoyable for us and was very attentive throughout the entire tour. She gave us great recommendations and was very kind. We send you our regards from Murcia (Imoah and Yolanda).
Excellent experience!! Highly recommended My guide Berna, excellent
The visit with the guide Bea was great; despite the influx of people, she made it very pleasant and entertaining.
Less than 3 days before the tour, they contacted us to change the reservation date (which we had booked at 7:45 in the morning months ago) without explaining the reason and without giving us any option other than changing to a time that did not suit us or canceling. Finally, less than 3 days away, it has been impossible for us to coordinate another tour with them, and they have forced us to cancel. I would not recommend that anyone risk their vacation by booking with this provider. Because they take you for a fool, they play with your schedules as if your time were not relevant, and they do not give you any explanation.
100% recommended. Franchesca was our guide; she is kind, makes the tour very pleasant, and explains things very, very well. Thanks!!!!
3 people, 250€, and a huge disappointment with the guided tour. Tip: always take the official tour on the Vatican website; these companies abuse by selling out the tickets. If you run out of tickets, you have no choice but to put up with it. It was the second time I visited the Vatican; the first time I took away a spectacular memory of both the visit and the guide. On this second occasion, it was for my mother, who was visiting for the first time. It was a huge disappointment. The guide, Juan Pedro, was not pleasant at all; he finished the tour in less than two hours, skipping works like the Laocoön, which he completely overlooked. Half the time, his explanations were little stories about his experiences as a guide in the Vatican and the mistakes of other guides. The rest, except for the information about the Sistine Chapel, was all without explaining context or having a clear narrative. The audio guides they gave us are worthless; it was difficult to hear the little that Juan Pedro explained to us. On other guided tours we have had these days, the audio guides were different and could be heard perfectly. Really disappointed with the such high price and the such terrible service received.
Victor a 10. We couldn't have been better with him
It was an incredible experience 😃 because Bernabé explained everything to us wonderfully I loved it he is an incredible person thanks for everything.
We went to the Vatican for the first time with my mom, Bernardeta told us everything and more. It is long and it was very hot but it was worth it. We missed seeing areas, it is huge. I recommend doing it with a guide because otherwise there are many things that are not understood.
An excellent experience and memory.
Excellent service from Tourismotion booked through Civitatis, the guide Franchesca was exceptional
Good explanation, good tour and approachable and friendly guide
