Had a very nice tour with my daughter (13 years old). Our guide Marly had a lot to tell and was able to guide us very well through the crowds. We enjoyed.

We had Frank van den Broecke as our Dutch guide. He was amazing and captivated us with his enormous knowledge and stories about the history of the Vatican Museums and the Sistine Chapel. He could also deliver it very beautifully, lightly, and humorously and had a lot to talk about. It was really worth it! If you are in Rome, you must have seen this.

Our visit to the Vatican went very smoothly. Our guide had extensive knowledge and told everything in a fun way. It is worth visiting the museums in the Vatican, provided you visit with a guide. If the little ears also fit, it would have been completely beautiful 😉

We had a very experienced guide, who showed us the nice pieces of the museum. In the meantime, she had time for extra questions, thought about the fellow human beings who were a little less able to walk and occasionally took a short bathroom break, or to fill your bottle. Very fine guide

We booked a tour with "guide in Rome" on the recommendation of a friend. Normally we prefer to do everything on our own but we are very happy with our choice to do it with a guide. We were shown around by Marly who guided us very smoothly through the masses. We were not bored for a second and discovered the most interesting places in the Vatican museums (where you normally just walk past on the way to the Sistine Chapel) and were allowed to descend through the Royal steps.

In the company of guide Frank we enjoyed the Vatican museums and certainly the Sistine Chapel. Frank has a lot of knowledge and experience and automatically takes you in tow, always with a touch of humor and lightness. Despite the fact that there are many different types of art in the museums, Frank has a common thread that makes everything fall into place. Very professional and yet accessible thanks to the many bridges and humor:)

We were with the family for 5 days in Rome and booked the tour of the Vatican and the Sistine Chapel with Guideinrome.com We were received very jovially at the indicated time by our guide Evi who would show us around in Dutch. And it became a TOP experience! Evi took her time and explained everything 'in human language' so that everyone was on board with her story. We experienced everything more intensely and with the necessary humor in between. Her laugh was really contagious. TOP experience with a TOP guide. Absolutely recommended!

Evi was our guide. She studied art history and you notice she knows a lot. We were lucky, it wasn't busy in January. She showed us a lot and this was actually too little. Time flew by. This tour is definitely a must do in your Rome trip.

Marley is such a hit. Actually, you should have her, what a fantastic guide and her knowledge is infinite. She takes you into a pleasant setting and gives a fantastic tour that is balanced. She can give everyone a fun tour, young and old. There are few questions she cannot answer, her knowledge goes very far, meanwhile she takes you on a nice tour, in a hectic environment she radiates peace and knows how to take everyone with her and give them a comfortable feeling in the hectic. Her knowledge is overwhelming and she continuously takes you into the secrets of the Sixteenth Chapel and Saint Peter. Topper! Her humor in this tour is fantastic, also on behalf of our teenager and that's very clever!

My daughter and I were in Rome for a weekend and came on this tour. We actually wanted to see some paintings eg School of Athens and some other paintings. These were unfortunately not in the program that was a shame. Maybe tip to indicate what is in the program, but maybe this will is in the description of the trip. The guide knew a lot, but she was sometimes difficult to understand because the ears we received were a bit difficult in terms of sound. So we just got close to her. We had a nice afternoon. Sistine Chapel was very busy but my daughter and I could miraculously sit for a while. Chapel was beautiful. We could wander around for another hour because the tour ended early. We did some shopping in the Vatican shops and then went out. we had a nice afternoon.

We did two fantastic tours with guide Irene: one to the Vatican and one to the Colosseum and Roman Forum, together with our family of 8 people. Irene was great, she gets a big 10 from us! She was able to captivate our young children (8 and 6 years) with fun facts and answers to all their questions. Guided tour booked at Wouter, for Colosseum and The Vatican. Meeting point in Rome was clear and easy to find. The guide was waiting for everyone. Small group so we could smoothly pass the lines of people and start the tour right away. Evi as a guide to the Colosseum and Monique as a guide to the Vatican. Enthusiastic people who more than understand their profession as guides. Really good experience. Recommended!!!!

Super enthusiastic guide Frank showed us a lot in at least 3.5 hours and told us with passion about the many treasures. He also tried to involve the younger participants. Will now advise everyone to come along. Also saves a lot of waiting time in the hundreds of meters long queues for the entrance that you can avoid. Recommended!

My 16-year-old daughter absolutely wanted to see Vatican City. She was completely overwhelmed by the pomp and circumstance. Our Dutch-speaking Guide showed us the most beautiful places and artworks. He could also talk about it with gusto. He also managed to involve the children and young people by telling fun facts. They were hanging from his lips. The 3 o'clock passed very quickly. Don't doubt, you really should do this with "Guide in Rome". It's definitely worth its money!

Can only say that both Guide and top were, even though the lady from day 1 barely had a voice, hats off to the way she was able to explain everything in detail, so also to our guide from day 2, you can be proud of staff with such dedication for their job!! I will definitely recommend you to friends!

It was well arranged and therefore a very nice and beautiful interesting experience, we had Guide Frank who we thought could explain it nicely and well. We ourselves were very sorry that we had not thought of cash to thank Frank, because he certainly deserved it.

After our tour in the Coloseum the day before we decided to book Vatican City with Guide in Rome the day after Back because this was an added value for our daughter of 13 years that everything took place in Dutch. On this activity it was a bit busier but Vatican City is a must do if you go to Rome Our guide (Monique) who we also had the day before gave us back a good and smooth explanation Guide in Rome is highly recommended Very correct in the agreements made and smooth communication

Nice explanation and keeps it a little light-hearted making it a fun tour. You get a little extra explanation everywhere which makes the visit worth so much more. Because otherwise you miss a lot of details and information.

Beautiful tour, good explanation! Seen and heard a lot, guide had lived there for years so knew plenty to tell! The agreed location is also easy to find (also had a nice meal there)

Guide did the NL tour through the museum very quickly. Were ready before the planned end time. Could be a little less routine. Maybe the guide does the same thing a little too much. Happy with the Dutch explanation, because it would certainly have been difficult to follow in English.

Had a great tour. The guide gave us a very nice selection of the immense Vat. Show the museum and tell a lot of interesting things (including the Pope's vehicles - very nice!) There was enough time to take a look in the Sistine Chapel and at the end we were left with many good tips at St. Peter's. Bypassed all queues. Nice little group too. Because of her I wasn't bothered by the crowds! Recommended!!

Guide did not tailor the information sufficiently to the group. Very unfortunate for such a beautiful place. So much to see, way too much information. Sistine Chapel should have been the highlight for me. We deviated from the route (most were for… so that was done), so we were now so overloaded with (often duplicate) information that it was almost difficult to enjoy. St. Peter's was our end point, which we visited separately.

Frank is a top guide with a lot of experience. It was a fascinating and educational tour. We were guided flawlessly past the queues everywhere. We would recommend it to everyone.

Well and easily arranged via the website. Everything clearly confirmed by email. Even received a guide with extra tips. We were there on a not too busy day. We did two tours with the Guide In Rome team: the Tour of the Vatican and the Sistine Chapel and also the Tour of the Colosseum, Roman Forum and Palatine Hill. Very nice experience! We were happy that we booked through Wouter and did not have to look for tickets ourselves. Everything was well organised, everyone arrived at their appointment place on time and both guides (Monique and Marly) who accompanied us had a lot to say and also involved our teenagers in the tour. Everyone listened with fascination. We would definitely book with Guide In Rome again.
