Tuscany Wine Tour: 2 Wineries & San Gimignano From Rome

My husband and I visited Rome and went on this wine tour. They arranged our train ticket to Florence and promptly picked us up to start the tour. We visited two wineries with very knowledgeable staff. Both wineries were beautiful and offered a good variety of wines. We ended our day in San Gimignano. A gorgeous small city with amazing shops and delicious gelato! A must do tour of you have time! Thank you to Valentina for a wonderful day!

I went to Italy as a solo traveler and booked this tour in hopes of good conversation and great wine. I not only got what i went for plus so much more! The views, other people and our tour guide were far exceeding! Thank you to Nedas for all of your knowledge, patience and just a joy to spend the day with! Don’t skip on this tour.

It was amazing experience. The instructions to find the meeting point was clear. They followed up to ensure we knew what to do. The Family owned winery was AMAZING! It is the quintessential Tuscany wine vineyard. It was so beautiful there. The explanation of wine was so detailed. Olive oils were so yummy. The second winery we went to had amazing oils and balsamic vinegar to taste. Never had we tasted such yummy, sweet balsamic vinegar. The wines were so good. They were so generous to let us taste so many. It was such a fun and beautiful time! Must see!

The excursion was a great value and we enjoyed the trip. The guides were helpful and amazing! I definitely recommend to anyone visiting the area.

Great tour and highly recommended. The second wine tasting surpassed all expectations. Ended up buying more bottles than expected. Also the stopover to San Giminiamo was super cute.

France a was incredible. She was friendly, informative, and super positive. I will ask for her personally next time for my wine tour.

This is great way to hit some Tuscany highlights. The two wineries we went to were lovely. It was hot that day and both tastings are outdoors so dress accordingly. We came from Rome so a lot of time was spent traveling for this one. They did provide the train tickets to and from Florence and that was seamless. We had a great time!

Our guide Lorenzo was great. We were able to try many wines and the people leading us through the wine tastings were knowledgeable. My only wish is that we could have had the tasting with more food first. Easier to taste wine with some food in your belly. And the views were beautiful despite rainy weather.

It was an exhausting day. We get ourselves to the Rome Termini station to take a 725am 1.5 hr train ride, then walk in the heat for over 20 minutes to find the tour guide (before you pay you are not told about this walk after rising early for for a 725am train), then a bus ride to the wineries. The two wineries were fine, I was not inspired to buy any of their wines. The first winery’s aggressive salesman was unappealing 🙄. Tuscany is beautiful and made it worth the trip.

This was a great experience, we had our train tickets sent to us (we came from Rome). They were messaging us that day to make sure we made it to the train and that we were okay. Then, we met with the rest of the group and tour guide in Florence, about a 25 minute walk but it is a beautiful one! They made sure we got back with plenty of time to make our way back to Rome. The first winery was fantastic, the 2nd one was very hot they didn't put any fans outside and the wine was pretty warm by the time we got to drink it. They also didn't really talk to us about the wines. But the views in Tuscany are beautiful.

Vincenzo was amazing!!! We had a great time. He adjusted our trip to us which was delightful. We had a great time learning as well as drinking great wine.

A really good trip to take if you have not been to Tuscany before. Samieh the Tour guide was very engaging and informative. The Stop in Pienze was rather long. Perhaps it could be exchanged with a place like San Geminiano where the time could be better spent. The local food and wine tasting was adequate.

Trip was awesome and our tour guide Elizabeth made it that much better! Plenty of wine for the journey and having a fun tour guide like Elizabeth is key. 10/10 recommend

I originally opted for this tour simply because of the included transportation to and from Rome and Florence via train. Upon arriving in Florence, we were picked up by our guide and the rest is history. Having a driver to and from the wineries was also very convenient. They were very understanding when I had to make last minute changes to my reservation a few days before and were very quick and helpful. The best part of this tour was that the group only consisted of about 7 people and we all mingled very well. We left San Gimignano with great wine, happy stomachs, and lifelong friends from across the globe! Veronica was the very best -- very helpful, informational, and so funny. She had the best advice and recommendations for places to visit around San Gimignano and Florence. I will continue to rebook this tour for every time I visit Italy (or until I age out of this tour's requirements). Best decision I have ever made. Love it. I will recommend this to everyone.

Having a driver through Tuscany to the wineries and visit to the super cute medieval town of Sangimignano made for a relaxing and fun excursion from the city. The Torciano winery paired antipasto with their delicious wines in an picturesque setting. I loved it so much I had a case shipped home!

I had a wonderful experience on this wine tour ! We went to a few different wineries and then drunkenly walked around San Gimignano. 10/10 experience !

We enjoyed the tour on a different point of view: driving Vespa scooters. Tuscany is beautiful And it has been a super nice experience thanks to our Tour Guide IRENE. We stopped for wine tasting and lunch to Torciano, beautiful food, amazing wine, great hospitality. If u love to travel we suggest this experience!
