We had a wonderful experience with Claudia. She’s very sweet and knowledgeable of Roman history, including the neighborhoods of the Jewish Ghetto and Trastevere. The food on the tour was very good. It is a must do activity!!

Chris was absolutely fantastic So so much history And so many fantastic stops with the best food in Rome! Absolutely not to be missed
Our guide I believe her name was Serena was above and beyond excellent of the area informative patient touring with an elderly person
Christian was our guide and he was terrific. He had a lot of knowledge of the food we tasted and the area we walked. He was fun, engaging and personable. It was a great tour!
The Trastevere & Ghetto Walking Tour and Food Tasting was so much fun. Our guide, Christian, was very informative, charming and entertaining. From one stop to the next, we learned so much and enjoyed both the food and the history behind the restaurant stops. I can't recommend him and the tour highly enough!
Christian was extremely knowledgeable and provided an entertaining but detailed history of the area. The tastings were delicious….highly recommend.
We were lucky to get a very small group just us and another couple. We were really pleased with our guide. He was fun and had great information. We learned so much about history. His English was great and very easy to understand. I wish we started our trip with this tour instead of doing it our last full day in Rome. We got so many tips and recommendations for restaurants that would have made our time in Rome so much better if we did it earlier. Start your trip with this tour!
Our tour guide-Daniel was the best part! The information and his passion for history made our tour most memorable! The food AND the introduction to the food was fun and delicious! We have even more appreciation for Rome and its history thanks to Daniel! Loved it!
We had been to Rome before to see all of the "big" sites so this was the perfect way to learn about local neighborhoods and foods. The fried artichoke was awesome and we ended with some excellent gelato, Virginia was a great guide.
Virginia was great! She walked us around the areas and was really knowledgeable. The food was really good too! A good variety of sweet and savory
Had a great small group of 7 people and the tour was very good. We had the right sequence of savory and sweet snacks along with seeing lots of sights and learning lots of history. Highly recommend. Our guide was very good and easy to understand.
Daniele was the perfect guide! His enthusiasm and love for the area were contagious. So highly recommend!
Avoid at all costs. We were looking forward to this tour all day and our tour guide did not show up. Unreliable and ruined our whole evening in Rome. Not to mention, we booked this tour months in advance. Your company claimed they didn’t receive the notification. Disgusting service.
Really great experience and some delicious local food. Our guide was very knowledgeable and really accommodating when we wanted to stop off to do some shopping. Highly recommended this tour for a street food experience.
The Jewish ghetto is rich in history and delicious food. Our guide Emanuel is very friendly and knowledgeable. I recommend you do the walking tour on your first day of your trip, so you get an idea of local food and recommendations for good restaurants and bars.
We really loved the whole experience! Our tour guide was so sweet and so fun! I would recommend this to anyone!
Wonderful tour full of interesting facts and stories to go with the food. Marco, our tour guide, was very knowledgeable and excited to share the history and food of the area. We had samples of several items, and tried things I wouldn’t order off a menu (that I loved!).
This was the perfect size tour just 4 of us and our wonderful guide Sabrina. The walk took us through the Jewish quatre and the Trastevere with food stops in both. The artichokes were amazing. Sabrina was knowledgeable and provided us with excellent commentary and stories along the way. All in all excellent.
The guide was knowledgeable and the food selection was delicious. A really well run tour, we wouldn't hesitate to do the tour again
Going through the Jewish Ghetto was fascinating and unique but that part was too short. We had an enthusiastic guide but unfortunately had a hard time understanding him as his accent was SO strong and he spoke so quickly and not loud enough that at least HALF of what he said was unfortunately lost.
Overall a good walking tour. We did not venture too far. Plenty of food. For some on the tour, it was hard to understand the guides accent.
Great experience with our tour guide! It was a group on 4, started in the Jewish Ghetto and learned so much. We got to try the famous artichokes. Then head over the Trastevere to try more foods. The guide was great at telling stories and keeping us engaged. We did not eat as much food as we did in another food tour in Greece but it gave us a good understanding on the local foods. If you have someone older or has a hard time walking long distances (you will be climbing steps and uneven roads) I would say it’s doable but let the tour guide know so they do not walk so fast. It’s fun, you get to walk around and eat yummy food!
The guide was super good. The price on this tour was pretty reasonable and I suppose the food reasonable too. Would have liked more food. We went some places we wouldn’t have gone otherwise and saw some cool stuff.
Fun and educational. Truly enjoyed the historical aspect. Food was good too! Our tour guide was great!
Had a blast walking around with Emmanuele! Ate several delicious bites ! Definitely full by the end ! 2 apps, Roman pizza and 2 desserts .. he was knowledgeable and kept us engaged … highly recommend!
Our guide was an expert on local history and fun sense of humor. I learned a lot! We did a lot of walking without any eating for the first hour and then the food was all at the end. Great food! Excellent representation of local favorites.
I wouldn’t know what this tour was like as I got injured badly the night before. I hurt my leg really bad and couldn’t walk so preemptively messaged the tour operator. They refused to refund me, and also said my husband should just go without me even though I can barely walk and need his help to get around now. To add salt to the wound, they told me to get a wheelchair just so I could go on their tour. If you want a tour company to just go straight for your money, then go ahead go with this one. If you’re looking for one with some human decency and kindness, I highly recommend choosing any OTHER company. I can’t believe I’m being ridiculed for getting injured, it’s called an accident for a reason. Do yourself a favor, don’t ever have an accident—definitely not within the 24 hour window specifically. So ridiculous.
We booked this tour back in 2017 but unfortunately had to cancel this tour and our trip. I am so happy we ended back to Rome and do this incredible tour with Victoria, who was a delight. She is very passionate and knowledgeable. Took great care of our group of 7 .
Virginia was a brilliant guide. She pointed out lots of fantastic historical points of interest and background information. The pace was perfect. She was engaging and knowledgeable. The food tastings were great, some things we wouldn't have known to try. We got tips for restaurants and advice on how to pick good gelato. My teenagers loved it too. Don't hesitate this was a highlight for us. Virginia was superb.
The tour guide Manuele was very good ,informative and answered all our questions and the food was very tasty, all in all a tour me and my husband would recommend!
This tour was excellent!! The food we had was amazing and the tour guide was so fun and informative. I would 100% do this again!!
The tour was great and tour guide “Virginia” was fantastic. We were shown places and sampled treats definitely out of the ordinary, such as from a bakery without even a business name outside, and where the customers know it by its reputation for the past 60+ years (Artigiano Biscottificio), several other food restaurants and shops that were all fantastic. Plus we learned some of the history of the places we visited and surrounding areas as well.
We had a great experience with a mixed group of nationalities. Great food and very informative not only about the food but history of the great city Rome. Our guide, Virginia, was exceptional in her knowledge and beautiful personality. Thank you for your great service and sweet way of dealing with us all. A definite YES, if you want to walk and taste Rome.
Our guide, Virginia, was great. Knowledgeable and with interesting stories. The food was delicious and all of us tried food we had never tried before. Visiting the less well-known areas of Rome was really eye opening and we visited Trastevere after, as we knew where to go and what to look out for. Would definitely recommend.
Our guide Virginia was awesome! Friendly and was full of knowledge for us as we wondered the streets taking in the sights and the great food!
Interesting tour with good variety of tastings combined with interesting historical narrative. Very friendly guide.
Our guide was friendly and knowledgeable. He was a local and well traveled, taking us to some of his favorite places and sharing the history of each area, specific sites, and historical authentic dishes. The teens even liked it!
It was great! The tour was awesome and the tour guide was very pleasant. The food was tasty and the information was very informative.
Virginia did an amazing job showing us the locals’ best kept secrets Her knowledge and enthusiasm made it an excellent experience
This street food tour through the Jewish quarter and Trastevere was definitely worth every penny. Our guide Virginia was so knowledgeable, fun to be around and full of interesting stories! She introduced us to carciofi alla guidia, the best cookies in town, suppli, pizza, icecream… make sure you start the tour with an empty stomach: the food is amazing! But not only that, we also learned a lot about the history of Trastevere, the ghetto and the Jewish community and got first-hand info you will not necessarily find in your guidebooks. Thank you so much for a memorable evening, Virginia!
Our tour guide was lovely and she was so informative about the history of where we were going, the restaurants and food we were eating. I would highly recommend doing this if your in Rome! Great and fun way to see a part of the city, and taste yummy food!
Marco, our guide, was amazing! I would go on any tour he offered. He provided the right mix of history, good food, and the right amount of time at each stop. We were traveling as part of a group of 14 people for 10 days and this tour was the highlight of the entire trip for several of our group members.
Very good experience. Virginia was really nice and had a lot to explain to us. The food was delicious and she gave us many advices for the rest of our stay.
Great tour with local food tastings in 5 places: supli, artishoks, biscuits, pizza and gelato. Guide was great and told a lot of interesting facts. Would definitely recommend!
One of the best and easy going tours that I have been to in Rome. Our guide was amazing and very easy to talk to!
Virginia was a excellent guide while traversing the streets of Trastevere. We learned a lot about the history of Rome and its food. I won't spoil too much: there were some classics one might expect while in Rome, but the most interesting to me were the foods we never heard of. We enjoyed it greatly! Thank you Virginia for a lovely tour.
We thoroughly enjoyed our walk through the Ghetto and Trastevere with Virginia. She is extremely knowledgeable and personable. We sampled several foods, some savory and some sweet and all delizioso! We highly recommend this tour. It was a great value! 😊
I'm so sad I forgot our guide's name, but she was the best! Knowledgeable, kind, and showed us all the best food places in Trastevere. Everything was so delicious! Would recommend.
Brilliant and personal food tour of Trastaverse and Jewish ghetto. Utterly authentic. Got to visit places you would never find on your own and topped with some info about the surrounding areas. Informative and tasty. Would highlight recommend - highly adaptable for vegetarians. Also way more affordable than other tours I’ve seen advertised
