Transfer Service Rome | One Way Civitavecchia Port Transfer

Book transfer for 5 in November for end of may. Received confirmation email then and night before pick up. Was given driver name and number. NO SHOW!!!! When I called number I was given I was told wrong number. He then stopped answering. I sent messages they what’s app and email. I then paid over double the amount. DO NOT USE this company

I guess it depends on what driver you have. We reserved three different times one picking up from the airport going to the hotel for 15 passengers accommodated us very well. Next one picking us up from the the hotel bringing us to the port couldn’t pack the luggage correctly and didn’t accommodate 15 of us. didn’t accommodate us very well. It was two coaches. Both of them were seven passengers. It should’ve been a seven and an eight passenger. Picking us up from the port and taking us back to the airport today the luggage was packed correctly. They picked us up. They had a sign with my name on it and accommodated us for 15 passengers 17 and 18.

You need to get all the information to them in the beginning because sometimes coming off the boat you’re in Rome your phone doesn’t connect easily other than that. Everything else was great.

They arrived on time one passenger coach was to have seven people. The other passenger coach was to have eight it did not accommodate us for eight. They couldn’t get the luggage into the trunk. They didn’t know how to pack it obviously is what the Billing at the hotel said they were shoving our luggage into the coach itself so we had bags on our lap for over an hour backpack bags. My daughter had a telephone in one of the backpack bags obviously it slipped out of the bag when we got out, she was missing her phone when she went to find our boarding passes. We tried and called and called and called. Finally, the driver called us back and said he will return, but he’s already 20 minutes away and I get a message from The motorcoach company saying that she has to pay $100 more because he he lost time well if they had the right coaches for us to accommodate us and all our luggage we wouldn’t have had bags shoved on our laps and the phone wouldn’t have fallen out

The driver was prompt and courteous. Before the trip we changed the pick-up time via email, and that went smoothly. The drive to the hotel was smooth. Glad I used this service!

Driver was 20 min late for pickup but still got us to our destination with plenty of time and the communication with status was very much appreciated! Let us know he was going to be late and updates every couple of minutes so we were well informed.

Driver was early and polite and got us to the port in a timely and safe manner. Vehicle was clean and the driver made sure to safely conduct us into and out of the vehicle and took care of handling the luggage.

Our transfer from the Rome Train Station to the cruise port at Civitavecchia was spot on. The driver was right on time and called to let us know exactly where he was for the pick up. There were zero issues with this transfer, which exactly what you want.

I reserved the service for 4 trips -to and from the airport and to and from the cruise port. The service would have been 5 star, but they dropped the ball on our most important leg, the leg to the cruise port. First they sent me a message would change the time to earlier due to Italian public transportation strike on our departure date and then sent message the car broke down and cancelled our service. We had to take a taxi last minute. Very stressful. Overall, the service was very good.

My wife and I booked a cruise from Rome and decided to arrive in Rome a few days early. Our research prior to the trip revealed that it was about an hour from City Center to the Cruise Port. While there are several ways to get there, we opted to use Transfer Service Rome. We actually used them twice. The first trip was from the airport to the City and then from the hotel to the Cruise Port. While I had read in reviews from various companies that drivers either didn't wait or never showed up, both of our trips went well. One of our bags didn't arrive at the airport so I had to file a claim. I was worried that perhaps our driver wouldn't be there after making the claim. The driver did text me and when I explained our situation, he said he would wait for us. So both of our experiences with this company went very well. They may not be the cheapest but they were reliable and that is what we needed.

Overall the trip from Airport to destination Hotel Porto Di Roma was great however the driver arrived late for pickup. There was no message about late arrival

Professional driver and clean, new car. He found us quickly after getting off the ship with a large iPad with our name on it. He had an air conditioned Mercedes waiting for us with cold water bottles in the back seat. This was now our second trip with this transfer company.

This was our first trip to Europe and first time using Viator so it was a bit scary when we arrived and didn’t see our driver. Viator customer service texted to let us know there was an accident and the driver was just late. They kept us updated the entire time. Although it was a longer walk to the car than we anticipated, the driver was very nice and accommodating. Overall great experience!! I’d definitely use Viator again!

Driver never showed up. Left stranded at the cruise port! Confirmed transfer and the driver never called or texted. Had to scramble for a taxi van. Horrible

We were fortunate enough in 2016, to select a one day tour of Rome for 6 people. It was wonderful. The driver/tour guide, was VERY knowledgeable and courteous. For some of us, booking online with an unfamiliar entity, can be a bit frightening.. this company keeps in constant contact during the booking procedure...up until pre-payment is done, and confirmation is received. At the conclusion of our cruise, their driver "Silvano"was waiting, literally 10 steps from the Port exit doors, to motor us to the airport for the flight home. You know those times when you purchase goods or a service that you're SO impressed by that you just don't want to bother changing or looking elsewhere for it?? This is one of those times.
