If you love anything to do with Italy then this vintage tour of Rome is for you. We took the night time slot for our trip round this ever dazzling city. It was a vivid experience with the roof down and the characteristic sound of that Fiat engine as the Colosseum flashes past followed all by one legendary landmark after another. At night it seems so theatrical and you can’t help thinking of Fellini films of course. The driver/guide has a lovely balance between high and low culture in his knowledge but it’s never too much.
We never thought we could have so much fun touring around Rome in a vintage vehicle, the driver guide knew every possible nook in the city which made the tour so enjoyable. We felt part of the culture as we drove through the narrow roads. Great experience!

This is the only way to see Rome driving in a beautifully looked after vintage Fiat 500 with the extra room and a sun roof which is just so cool. You are driven by the erodite David Maranzana who speaks perfect English and is most entertaining and informed. It was so exciting getting to know secret spots in Rome and stopping at cafes, shops and world famous sites such as the Trevi Fountain, the Coliseum, the Spanish Steps and hearing stories about the history. Thoroughly enjoyed our tour and would very much recommend to experience the true atmosphere of this magical and extremely romantic city.

Very charming driver, knowledgeable about Rome. Day was packed with sights. Saw lots of things off the beaten tourist track - like the tiny nondescript little cafe by the bus station that served the best pasta with pesto - which I wouldn’t have ventured had it not been for David. So thank you David for a wonderful day in Rome.

Although I knew Rome, shooting with this stain was a bit like diving into the 60s. Everything slowed down, a feminisms experience in the streets of Rome. I hope I get another chance to do it again. Very good price
