St. Peter's Square is the spiritual heart of the Catholic world, embraced by Bernini's majestic colonnade. Before you stands St. Peter's Basilica, masterpiece of Michelangelo and destination for pilgrims from all over the world.
(OPTIONAL) The Janiculum Fountain is one of Rome's most evocative viewpoints, immortalized in the opening scene of "The Great Beauty". From here your gaze embraces the entire Eternal City in a breathtaking view.
The Mouth of Truth is one of Rome's most famous legends, carved in the marble of the church of Santa Maria in Cosmedin. Made famous by the film "Roman Holiday", it continues to fascinate visitors from all over the world.
The Colosseum is the eternal symbol of Rome and the largest amphitheater ever built, capable of holding over 50,000 spectators. Next to it, the Arch of Constantine celebrates the victory of 312 AD and marks the passage to Christian Rome.
The beating heart of the capital, Piazza Venezia is dominated by the imposing Altar of the Fatherland, symbol of Italian national unity. A crossroads where ancient, Risorgimento, and contemporary history meet in a single glance.
The Pantheon is one of the best-preserved monuments of ancient Rome, famous for its grand dome. A timeless place that captivates with harmony and perfection, perfect for a break in the heart of the city.
The Trevi Fountain is the most famous Baroque fountain in the world, a masterpiece by Nicola Salvi. According to legend, anyone who tosses a coin into the water over their left shoulder is destined to return to the Eternal City.
Piazza Navona, a renowned square in Rome, captivates with its Baroque elegance. Home to Fontana dei Quattro Fiumi and vibrant cafes, it's a cultural hub adorned with art and fountains. The lively atmosphere and historic charm make Piazza Navona a must-visit destination, where visitors can immerse themselves in the city's rich history and architectural splendor.

We had a great tour with Manu. He is knowledgeable, friendly and approachable in conversation and questions we asked about your beautiful city. Traffic was congested and there was a protest that shut down some streets and the last site (the Colosseum) was unreachable. Manu stayed professional and patient through this distress. This is a very good tour!
Book elsewhere! My mum and I were looking forward to this tour, but Luxurbe’s handling of a stressful situation ruined it. We arrived on time for 4:30, then waited for a couple who arrived 15 minutes late with a toddler and stroller (despite the no-stroller rule). They wanted my 82-year-old mum and me to move to the rear-facing seats, but she gets motion sickness, so that wasn't an option. When told no, they boarded the cart and refused to leave. The woman called me a “bitch,” (among other things) and kept insulting us. Her husband leaned within inches of my face and screamed, “SHUT UP!” A crowd even gathered to record it! Meanwhile, the guide was busy on the phone with his manager, who advised him to call the police. Unfortunately, he was spineless, so they were allowed to stay. We left 45 minutes late, and they continued making nasty comments during the tour. We didn't pay to be treated like that. Luxurbe ignored 2 emails & 2 calls I made during the tour and eventually (after the tour was completed) responded to me by refusing to reschedule/refund us because we technically received 3 hours. We paid over $250 and were left feeling intimidated and unsupported.
Sarah was a fantastic guide and driver
Enersto was amazing. Very helpful and had a lot of knowledge about the city. Loved the tour with him He was an excellent guide.
Really enjoyed this tour. A great way to get around the city especially in the 30 degree geat. Our guide Andy was so friendly and very helpful with all questions answered in great detail. He even advised us on goodplaces to eat. I would recommend this tour
Andy was great, we hit the highlights and it was pretty efficient
Andy was amazing and so knowledgeable about the city and it's high points. The tour was perfect for us to see everything with the short amount of time we had to see Rome.
Fantastic! Loved our tour! Andy our tour guide was the best!
Andy was our tour guide and he was very knowledgeable on his history. I highly recommend this tour if you want to get a glimpse of all the attractions in 3 hours.
Our tour guide Andy was great! Very friendly, knowledgeable and eager to share the history of Rome. The description on Viator of the itinerary did not exactly match what we saw. Only major disappointment was having to ride backwards which caused a little car sickness due to the speed and turns, and was a little disorienting for sightseeing while riding. But our guide did a great job ensuring we enjoyed our trip!!
Our golf cart tour of Rome was absolutely awesome! It was one of the highlights of our trip. Julie was fantastic, knowledgeable, friendly, and made the experience both fun and memorable. The golf cart was the perfect way to see so much of Rome without all the walking, and we got to experience many incredible sights while learning about the history and culture of the city. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Rome. It was a great experience from start to finish and definitely something we will remember!
The BEST tour we took in Rome! Honestly, I wish I would have booked a whole day instead of 3 hours. Jack was our guide and he was wonderful. He told us all about the sites we visited and certainly knew how to get around the craziness that is Rome. He really made us feel that we were able to take our time and answered all our questions. If you're trying to figure out just one tour to take in Rome, this is the one!
Our tour guide did not speak very good English. He was late picking us up from our hotel. He asked 3 times what we wanted to see and each time I told him I wanted to see what was listed on the itinerary. He was frustrated by that but took us anyway. At a few stops he’d drop us off several blocks away and give us walking directions and tell us to meet back at the golf cart in 15 minutes. He went the wrong way down a one way street and got into a very aggressive argument with another driver. Then towards the end of the tour, we were walking and I had my phone in my hand. He asked if I’d complete a review then he reached over, took hold of my phone to capture the barcode from his phone and quickly selected 5 stars and filled in his name in the comment box. Fortunately I didn’t complete and submit that review. I think his name was Daniel. Unfortunately you can’t choose who you get with Viator. All of our other tour thru Viator have been very good. We just got a lazy and disrespectful guide in this one. If you get a good guide, this is a great way to get acclimated to the city and see some key places.
We travel frequently and have booked dozens of excursions through Viator. This was our first negative experience. * Missed our Tour Due to Poor Communication * Provider Was Impossible to Reach (stated they don’t use WhatsApp ) * We Never Found Our Guide * Worst Viator Experience We’ve Had Google Maps repeatedly directed you to different locations. * The provider could not be reached by WhatsApp. * We messaged through Viator immediately. * They asked for your exact location instead of calling or meeting you. * The tour departed without making a reasonable effort to find us * The provider then refused a refund, and was extremely rude. Unprofessional. We hope that Viator no longer works with this vendor.
Great tour. Thanks Dino. he took us around the entire perimeter of the city, including all of the major sites and we enjoyed them.
We had a great time with Ernesto touring around Rome! We had a limited time to enjoy the city, so this tour was perfect for 2 couples, especially in the extreme heat! Every site had great opportunities for pictures and learning about Rome’s history, and also places to get refreshments to beat the heat. The golf carts were very comfortable and we felt very safe even in the Rome traffic. Thanks Ernesto!
Andy was great It eas a good tour
Augusto was professional and great . And a very nice tour in 1 hour and half
This was a a great way to see these amazing sights. Luca, our guide, was super knowledgeable and on top of all the facts he shared with us, he also spoke with us about other topics. We highly recommend checking out the sights with this team.
Dino was great!! We had a great time
Perfect for families with littles who don’t want to walk everywhere. Got around the city easily and seen all the highlights.
Our golf cart tour with our guide Ernesto was fantastic. Ernesto was so animated and informative during the whole tour, giving us insight to every venue we that only someone is passionate as him about the city could share. The golf carts gave us an up and personal look at areas you could only get to with a golf cart. It was a most memorable part of our trip and visit to Rome …. A must do!!!
Note: I may have selected the wrong tour title. It was a four hour golf cart food tour with tour guide Andy. Andy was terrific! Knowledgeable, professional, and very friendly. The food stops are fantastic and seeing Rome via golf cart is an excellent new way to have these experiences. Along the way, Andy filled us in on the sights and history of Rome. We highly recommend it!
Luca was the best. Wife was pregnant and this was perfect for her. Just tell the guide to plan for bathroom breaks.
Did not give good directions. First they were going to meet us at the hotel. A second message said be ready at hotel 20 min before time. Day of the trip told us via de Popolo. When there was given a map I did not understand. Sent further communication where we were. Got no further response. My spouse is somewhat handicapped and us walking around to find the guide became very taxing on her. Called Viator they said we were a no show and would not refund. I book many tours through them and am very upset at their response. I will think again next time I book a tour.
It was a wonder trip Luca and Andy were great. The stories were were educational.
We had an amazing experience on the Luxurbe golf cart tour with our two kids. It was honestly one of the highlights of our trip! John was fantastic — super friendly, incredibly knowledgeable, and very flexible in adapting the tour to what we wanted. His explanations were really interesting and engaging, even for the kids, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. The golf cart is a perfect way to explore the city comfortably, especially with children, and we got to see so much without feeling rushed. Highly recommended for families or anyone looking for a fun and informative way to discover the city!
This experience was very informative and fun. My tour guide Jimmy was excellent. He was knowledgeable and wanted me to have the best tour. My experience of Rome on this tour was the best thing I’ve done while here. Thanks to the guide.
Very disappointing from the start. Except I was happy to have a small tour of 4 only one other couple. The guide didn’t have the itinerary promised on the site for this tour. We had to give him the places to see. And explain what was written on the site. He didn’t know where the Jewish Getto was and the entrance fee and time allotted was not included. He was informative where we stopped but passed many places with no information too.
Andres was so knowledgeable and we had a great time! This tour in Rome was very nice and we got to get off to take pictures as well!
Enjoyed our golf cart tour with Daniel. Went on the day we arrived to see sites and get the lay of the land. Visited some amazing areas especially overlooking city as well as Roman Forum. We were very tired so probably didn’t engage as much as we normally would. I’d have a list of anything you definitely want to stop by. We’d do again.
It was so fun! Our guide knew tons and we enjoyed him. The only problem for me was that I couldn't hear him when in the back. But being able to be driven all around the main sights and hop off and on was so nice!
Perfect tour if you are limited on time or struggle with mobility! I was only in Rome for 2 days and wanted to make the most of my time & see as much as possible. This tour was perfect for that! I had Otto as my tour guide and he was very knowledgeable about each site we stopped at as well as places we passed. He was very kind, funny, & overall a great tour guide! We unfortunately didn’t go to the Pantheon but did go to the Colosseum which was neat. Definitely planning to seek out similar tours in future trips!
I reached out directly to company to schedule a full day full day golf cart tour. We asked if they could include a private tour with the coliseum and they stated they could. They billed me for golf cart tour and the coliseum and sent tickets. I booked this excursion 4 months prior to our trip. The morning OF the tours, I received an email the they cancelled the coliseum tour. The day OF with no opportunity to rebook it as we were only in town for that day. The company assured me I’d be reimbursed but I have not been yet. We traveled from the US and this tour was a bucket list item, so disappointed with no offer from company to make it right. For these reasons, I would NOT recommend using them. I would like to note that Jimmy, our golf cart guide, was apologetic and very accommodating. He did all he could to help us although most was out of his control. I would recommend his service, just NOT the company.
We had a wonderful experience with Paolo as our travel guide and driver! He was very personable and knowledgeable. He brought us through unique neighborhoods and showed us a couple of hidden gems. Took us to see all the highlights and gave us time for photos. He even gave us restaurant and gelato suggestions after the tour was done! We will definitely highly recommend this tour to our friends!
We had a great tour with Matteo. He loves his job and made that very obvious the entire tour. We went all over the city with many different points of interest and viewpoints. Great experience!!
Andrea, Massimo, Roberto. The guy were really helpful and knowledgeable about Rome. They made our trip worthwhile, what a blast.
It was good to see the sites. Wish the tour guide would have done more explaining. Hard to hear when driving and would just drop us at sites for a few minute peek. I would recommend for less cost.
We saw so much of Rome on our 1st day with this tour. I highly recommend it - and ask for Paolo! He was a great host and offered restaurant suggestions that did not disappoint! Grazie!
A great way to see the exterior of some of Rome's top attractions in several hours. Plus, for those who are not familiar with Roman history, it is a great introduction. Paolo was our guide and was prompt, friendly, a great photographer, and gave suggestions for wonderful restaurants based on our location. We booked this tour for the afternoon of our morning arrival to Rome. We wanted an overview of the city before our more in-depth excursions were to begin the following day. Thank you, Paolo, for a beautiful introduction to Rome. I would immediately book this again

Maximo was a fantastic guide and very passionate to share his knowledge of the history of Rome, especially the Colosseum, Palatine Hill and Forum. We saw everything we hoped to see and learnt so much
Daniel, our tour guide made our day! His golf cart tour of Rome brought us insight and delight. He brought history, humor, and fun facts to our tour. My wife and I encourage anyone who’s visiting Rome to join Daniel on one of his golf cart rides. You two will come away having experienced the city of Rome in a way you never have. Thank you, Daniel for an incredible evening!
This was a very enjoyable tour and a great way to see the highlights of the city when we were jet lagged after a long flight.
Matteo was a fantastic guide. He has a great depth of knowledge and passion for his work. He has made our short stay in Rome very memorable.
We toured with Fabrizio Dolci, he was very personable and knowledgeable. This included the history of the sites we visited. Fabrizio answered all of our question's, we would definitely want to let you know how great he was. David and Angela Gambino
Our guide, Edwin, was tremendous. The golf cart got us to many of the notable landmarks. His commentary and insight was great! We highly recommend this tour.
Tony was a wonderful guide, very knowledgeable as well as personable. My son and I enjoyed our tour of Rome.
You cancelled the trip 2 hours before it was to start. Why do you keep sending me e mails asking how my experience was.
