Christina was, very knowledgeable and patient, there were so many crowds and she made sure we all stuck together from the beginning to the end. She kind of enough to ask and make sure we heard everything and if we needed a bathroom break, she found one that would be the most convenient. Her English was very clear and persise thank You for making the tour so enjoyable.

Piazza Barberini is a square in the current historic center of Rome located in the saddle between the Quirinale hill and the Horti Sallustiani . In the center of the square is the Triton Fountain created by Gian Lorenzo Bernini in 1643 commissioned by Pope Urban VIII Barberini. It is made of travertine and features, between the tails of the four dolphins supporting the triton, two coats of arms of the Barberini. On the corner with Via Veneto there is the Fountain of the Bees, the insect symbol of the Barberini .
The Trevi Fountain (Italian: Fontana di Trevi) is a fountain in the Trevi district in Rome, Italy, designed by Italian architect Nicola Salvi and completed by Giuseppe Pannini and several others, it The Trevi Fountain is a true wonder, a jewel of water and stone almost hidden in the historic centre of Rome.
The Pantheon is a former Roman temple, now a church, in Rome, Italy, on the site of an earlier temple commissioned by Marcus Agrippa during the reign of Augustus (27 BC – 14 AD). It was completed by the emperor Hadrian . Since the 7th century, the Pantheon has been in use as a church dedicated to "St. Mary and the Martyrs" (Latin: Sancta Maria ad Martyres).
Piazza Navona is a square in Rome, Italy. It is built on the site of the Stadium of Domitian, built in the 1st century AD, and follows the form of the open space of the stadium.[1] The ancient Romans went there to watch the agones ("games"), and hence it was known as "Circus Agonalis" ("competition arena").
St. Peter's Square, is a large square located in front of St. Peter's Basilica in the Vatican City, at the centre of the square is an ancient Egyptian obelisk, erected in 1586; the great architect Gian Lorenzo Bernini designed the square including the massive Doric colonnades, in 1656 /1667.

We enjoyed it very much, our tour guide Georgio was so nice and very knowledgeable about all the places. Really nice tour.
Wow! This was a lot more walking than we expected! In the description, it said that we could choose to stay on the bus (but that we would miss a lot of sites). I think it should be categorized as a walking tour bc we were on the bus for 15 minutes and walked for 2 hours on a very hot day.
Excellent guide was very well knowledgeable and ready to answer all our Qs Very polite and humble Thxs guide for yrs time
Green Line Tours provides horrible, unreliable bus service and will not refund dissatisfied customers. Their Representative referred to us in a racist and derogatory way and the Company ignore the complaint. Our fourteen tickets were purchased from Andre, Owner of the Gift Shop at Crowne Plaza St. Peter’s—he is also unreliable with his Shuttle Bus. He blew us off after we were stranded twice in one day by Green Line Tours. It appeared to be a SCAM.
I reached out to the tour company prior to the tour and they did not respond. I sent them a message and called and received no response. Therefore I was unable to take the tour. I suggested meeting them at the location and the woman told me no, I couldn't do that. I went to the Trevi Fountain on my own and it was amazing.
Went on the Green Line bus in Rome from outside the Rome train station. A lot of scammers give you brochures so we went to Grey Lines office itself. Better service there and very helpful too. Fabulous trip around the sights of Rome. They give you a map so you can get on and off at any time with ease. Headphones were great and informative. Loved it so much we went on it 3 times. Highly recommend!
The tour was great. Our guide was very knowledgable and it was a surprise we went to the Vatican to hear the Pope speak. Pretty neat.
Stops in unclear locations, incredibly slow and un reliable timetables, expensive and uncomfortable. Stay clear! DO NOT USE!
This tour was on our first day in Rome and it was a great introduction to the city. We saw a lot in a short period of time, including the Trevi Fountain and the Pantheon and several other wonderful sights. The morning tour ended at the Vatican and there's an option to see the Colosseum in the afternoon but we did that on a different day. It's definitely good value for the price, as we saw a lot. Our tour guide was great and we had a really fun time.
We had booked the tour bus for our Rome sightseeing. The bus is quite spacious and had two decks. Not sure if there was provision for toilet, mostly no. The guide was narrating description of places we saw as the bus toured. A little difficult to follow due to accent. Overall a good experience.

We took the day tour, without lunch. The Vatican in the morning and the coliseum in the afternoon. The tours were the best option, because it made getting into the venues easy, and I would recommend them if you want to get in quickly. The guides were well informed, and entertaining. The only negative is that you do not have the time to see all of the venues. My advice is that you use the tour to get into the venue, and when the tour is complete, remain in the venues to see what was not covered.

Great tour and day out done the morning tour and later one great way to see everything you want to in Rome

Amazing day our however we skipped the Spanish steps and had to go back on our own another day. Small group, guide was very passionate and helpful.

Very relaxing and enjoyable to sit and see everything in the comfort inside a bus.
Audio was clear and understandable with different languages available for other nationalities.

We did the hop on, hop off bus tour. The bus itself was not well configured and most of the seats on the top deck were obstructed by something that was under a canopy. The audio was very minimal and completely out of sync with the tour itself. Some we even got twice at different points in the tour.

I was confused about this tour. It didn't seem to go along with the description.

This was our first tour while in Rome. It was a good overview of many of the key attractions, and important sites in Rome. This helped get us oriented for the rest of our stay.

Excellent tour of the top sites of central Rome highlighted by our ,87 year old guide who was worth the price of the tour himself! The bus stops in 2 locales and then you walk a fair bit which was fine for us but hard for some of the party to keep up.Very good way to begin your vacation and orient yourself.

Saw all the sites we wanted to see!!!! The guide was so knowledgeable and very fun to be with!! Great day!!!!!!!

Tour guys was very old guy and really was not into giving you much information about the sight except how old it approximately is and what the name of it was. It was sort of waste of time and frustrating after taking another tour which was so informative and interesting. Green line seems so very commercial and can care less about it really. Only good part about it was that we happen to take it on Sunday and we ended at Vatican and were able to see the Pope.

Great tour, a nice overview of city highlights. The only disappointment was that the tour did not include the interior of St. Peter's Basilica. We have since recommended this tour to everyone we know who is going to Rome. People just need to be aware that there is quite a bit of walking in the city center.

This was the worst of all the tours. When we bought the ticket, we double checked that the 3 hr tour did not cover the Vatican area which we had just covered the previous day. The Viator person assured us that the Vatican area would not be covered and Spanish steps would but we were lied to.

Great. Our tour guide knew all about the colosseum and even did some of the excavation work there!

The first part of the tour, the walking tour was wonderful. Very friendly and informative guide. The second part they have you wait for an hour or two before the second part, was terrible. Our guide for the Parthenon did not speak very good English and she was quite rude. We got a refund for this.

Unfortunately I arrived 15 minutes late due to transportation issues. I tried to find out where I could catch up with the group but the people at Green Line Tours were quite cut and dry, most uncaring. I asked where they were offering the lunch which I had paid for and that's how I was able to find them.
I had to buy another Hop on hop off tour until lunch time.
The tour guide Max was extremely knowledgeable and pleasant with a great sense of humor. He took us to the Coloseum and went through it with so much detail. We also went to see the beautiful statue of Moses and St. Peter's supposed chains.

There were only 4 people on this tour. Two individuals who spoke Chinese who had their own interpreter and my daughter and myself who had our own interpreter. You would think this would be ideal with lots of interaction and personal information from the tour guide however, our tour guide would tell us a few details then step aside and be on her phone texting. She seemed very indifferent to us or to making our tour a memorable one.

a trip of a life time! The group was small and the guide was well informed! You get to see many things that i would never have found on my own. Love it

What a fun day, we like to take the tours on our first day in town to get our bearings. We say so many interesting sites. It would have been nice to have a little more time in St. Peters Square, which we could have opted for but would have had to find our own transport back to the city center.

Our first tour of the trip and it was amazing! What a guide and what a city - so beautiful. On the morning tour you will see all the highlights of Classical Rome and you'll walk mostly hopping on and off the bus twice. This is the way to do it if your time is limited and even if you are staying a month or a lifetime I would definitely recommend it. Just wandering the streets with a local who loves this place is fantastic. You will see the Trevi Fountain and Pantheon and all the important squares etc. and get a feel for classical, gorgeous, Rome. We took this tour on Boxing Day right after Christmas and I was very confused when I booked it because many comments referred to visits to the Vatican despite the fact that it was not mentioned in the description of this tour. We did enter Vatican City briefly on the tour but the museum, Basilica, and Sistine Chapel we closed because of the holiday. This was good for us because I think we got to spend more time in the city of Rome as I had hoped and we had a tour of the Vatican scheduled for later in the week. The Vatican portion of the tour is something that causes a bit of confusion but I assume this tour often gives you a bit of time in St. Peter's Basilica. In any case, bring your own set of earbuds just in case the ones they give you don't work properly and have a blast!!

We also took the Afternoon Ancient Tour Of Rome that you could add to this tour and it was the only tour I found a bit disappointing. Be aware you will not get to walk through the Roman Forum as I assumed we would. We enjoyed it however and did see the ruins of course but had little detailed explanation. You do have to wait as the guide buys tickets for the Coliseum but we were prepared for that as we had read reviews here. If time is limited add this part of the tour most definitely! A nighttime tour might be a bit better.

No so great, all the places covered would have been easily covered on our own, but our guide was great

Great way to see major sights and our guide was quite funny. Better to do the tour in the morning as less people were out and about. There was a lady that was organizing the tour however, that was so rude to me several times, even after the tour had ended that made me wish I had never done it to begin with.

This tour was amazing, the tour guide was fantastic and the information covered was entertaining and very educational. The morning guide had vast knowledge of what she was explaining, and was helpful and just FANTASTIC. THE AFTERNOON GUIDE WAS LIKE 90 years old, hysterical and great! I am so glad that he was the guide for the second half as he added humor to the learning and narration which was quite a change from all of the other tours that we did. Greenline was fantastic, easy to find, easy to contact. Highly recommend seeing the sights it's a guide, as we did both ways and the guide made it so much better.

We enjoyed our tour very much. Some of the places we saw on this tour we had already walked to ourselves but we really enjoyed hearing the history behind everything. It helped put everything in perspective and understand Rome a bit more. We were very pleased we took the tour

Very disorganized to find the meeting place, dropped off for lunch with no explanation, guides were great!

Awesome tour!! Our guide was an older gentleman and a lifelong citizen of Rome. He loves his city and it shows! Was a good pace, saw many top sights and our guide made it very enjoyable.

A fairly informative and pleasant tour made especially worthwhile by visiting the highly impressive Pantheon, but otherwise somewhat limited in scope.

Great overview of Rome. We took the all day tour. Lunch was very good. Morning tour guide was poor. Afternoon tour guide was great.

I do not recommend. They spoke 3 languages on this tour and it took away from the information provided. Additionally, our guide spoke poor English our language which made it hard to learn. We really weren't pleased with the scarce information the tour provided and would NOT recommend this tour! It seemed like others on our tour would agree with us from the vibe we got. Our tour guide seemed so bored with the info she was giving that it really made us feel bored, especially given that all she gave were names of buildings and random dates.

Our morning guide Paula was very knowledgeable about the city and the tour was very guide and made even better when we got to St Peter's and saw The Pope give his blessing to the hundreds of people below. Wonderful experience. The Trevi Fountain was good as was The Panthenon. The afternoon tour was also very good and was interesting to walk around the coliseum. Recommended.

This is the best way to see the major sites of Rome but our tour guide did not speak English very loudly or clearly to be heard well with the earplugs. She also did not act like she wanted to be with us-the fellow tourists were more enthusiastic than she was! So I hope her next tour is better!

Could have included more sights, was still a good tour though.

We loved the morning tour and guide. We also really liked our lunch. However, Antonio was our afternoon guide. We were not impressed with him at all. He seemed upset and we felt very rushed by him. In fact, we couldn'tlocate him at the end. We were assisted by some very nice Green Line people.

It was excellent. Saw many of the highlights of Rome, including a quick visit to Vatican city. The 3 hour tour was perfect for my 78 year old mother.

This was a very good tour because you see most of the key sites in Rome. The tour guide was very knowledgeable, but did not have a lot of enthusiasm.

This tour was good but short. After we got to the Vatican we had to find our own transportation back to the hotel.

Our tour was very good. We were having lunch so it wasn't a problem for us but other people were surprised that the tour ended at the Vatican and weren't sure how they were going to get back to their hotel. The highlight was that it was Sunday and the pope blessed the crowd. The crowd was huge and the people were so excited.

Tour picked us up at the train station and dropped us off elsewhere! That would have been good to know beforehand! Some people felt stranded! Very mediocre tour!

The tour was a lot of walking around. We saw many sites around town.

This wasn't a bad tour per se, but I did it having been in Rome a couple days already and since I was staying in the historical center, I had already seen all the sights on the tour, and I didn't feel like they gave me a lot of additional information for each of them. If you're just starting a Rome visit, this might not be bad, but otherwise I would recommend just walking to the various sites and getting the audio guide there pantheon or downloading a self-guided tour with info from the web.
