Beautiful intimate setting, well organised and all event guidance given from booking to start of the event were clear and easy to follow. 3 tenors and musicians were exceptional an authentic way to enjoy Rome. We would highly recommend it.
The tenors were great but the audience was not very enthusiastic until about the end of the program. They picked great choices and O Sole Mio at the end was an icing on the cake. I really enjoyed it
Beautiful night not really an opera fan, but the performance was incredible and the video was just perfect for that type of event. I really recommend youattend.
Stunning acoustics and fantastic voices. We upgraded on the night and loved the event. If you like Opera, this is well worth booking!
I thoroughly enjoyed the performance. It felt authentic and a perfect way to introduce my daughter to classical Italian culture.
Worth to see.. excellent voice and performance We book in advance for our trip to Italy Tremendous experience
Simply an amazing performance. Exceeded all expectations. So glad we chose this event. Absolutely no regrets.
This was our first night in Rome and what a magnificent experience. The crowd reaction said it all - standing ovation. Highly recommend this show
An exceptional experience , intimate and powerful, in a beautiful church setting. The program was beautiful and heightened our evening out in historic Rome !
This was a beautiful show! We had back row seats and were able to upgrade to closer seats for a nominal fee. It’s not a huge church so it felt like an intimate evening and all the seats were full. Take a fan, because it was warm, but they do sell water bottles. They were engaging with the audience and I had such a great time. It was a wonderful, uplifting concert. I 100% recommend!!!!
Simply brilliant! Very talented tenors, musicians and dancers! It was a very intimate setting and the acoustics were lovely! Perfect!
Our first night in Rome was truly unforgettable. We attended The Three Tenors at St. Paul’s Within the Walls, and it was a wonderful way to begin our time in the city. What a joy it was to sit in this beautiful historic church and listen to the powerful voices of the performers. The combination of the stunning setting, incredible acoustics, and beloved Italian music created a magical and memorable evening for our family. If you’re looking for a special cultural experience while visiting Rome, we highly recommend spending an evening with The Three Tenors. It was the perfect introduction to the beauty, history, and artistry of Rome. 🎶🇮🇹❤️
this was a beautiful experience in Rome, stunning church, great artists who love to perform singing some of the classics. highly recommend!
It was so much more than what we expected! In addition to the Three Tenors, there was an outstanding piano player, a mandolin player and ballerina. The music they selected superseded language. They were interactive with the crowd and made us part of the performance.
Smaller venue than I thought and more casual than I anticipated. But the quality of the performance was great.
The Three Tenors Rome famous Three Tenors concert series was performed by the trio, accompanied by a Neapolitan mandolin player and a ballerina dancer in St. Paul Within the Walls. This 19th-century Anglican church is used as a classical music venue during the evenings. The trio sang many favorites and was well received by the audience. The concert and venue made for a memorable experience
Came wanting to hear Nessun Dorma performed. The performance itself was nice. The three tenors were good, though 1 was a clear standout and they didn’t seem all that practiced performing together. The church was a great location. Overall a pleasant evening.
Lovely venue and the tenors were first class. A most enjoyable evening. The church itself is stunning and with the tenors singing echoing around its walls it was a perfect end to our day.
If you have never heard three full- throated tenors belting out both classics and folk tunes, with cathedral-like acoustics, then nothing I can say can match you just going and immersing you in the music.
Really enjoyed the performance. Apart from the excellent singing and presentation, the added Dancer really enhanced many numbers. Good range of songs. Nice historical venue, welcoming and comforable. Ideal location for a pre-performance meal. Great value, highly recommended.
The tenors were good, though acoustics are not optimal. Seating is church pews so people in front completely obstruct view of performers.
The Three Tenors in Rome - Nessun Dorma was beautiful. The venue was a beautiful old church where the sound was perfect. The singers had a piano but also a traditional mandolin. Very fun!
The Three Tenors were absolutely amazing. We thoroughly enjoyed the power and perfection of their wonderfully blended voices. They sang like angels. We enjoyed the audience participation, the ballerina and the amazing performances of the vocals. The pianist was a consummate professional and the mandolin player wowed the entire crowd. We could have listened for hours.
Lovely evening, excellent voices, musicians and dancer. Building beautiful but acoustics a little challenging
Absolutely brilliant! A must see
I wasn't going to do a review but keep getting emails asking me to leave a review. in the build up to the event I received the usual notifications about collecting the tickets and everything in the app looked fine. However, when I arrived at the collection point, I was told that it was a different show and that we could not enter. I have received an apology and refund.
A nice way to while away an hour or so if looking for something to do. There is quite a bit of going 'in and out' of the room from the singers which we found was a bit disruptive to the flow. An introduction from them and explanation of what was to come would help too, but overall it was quite good and they are very talented.
Excellent performance. This performance was spectacular. The three tenors presented the most beautiful selections of the world’s favorites. It is a must see. I would book this again when I return to Rome.
Loved this performance, amazing male tenor voices, wonderful program choices and delightful female dancer. The acoustics of the church venue enhanced the music.
This is in a beautiful old church. But no climate control…dress accordingly. If you arrive early and sit in the back seats in the front row you can see perfectly. Nice voices. I would have preferred to not have the distraction of the ballerina.
The tenors were fantastic along with piano and mandolin player . However I would question why they had a dancer - while she danced well it was a distraction.
High quality entertainment, but need to take a sitting pillow!! Sitting bench is very uncomfortable.
It was a lovely evening and most enjoyable. We liked the music choices and the ballet performance that accompanied the singers!
Excellent evening. We arrived early and got a good seat. The acoustics were very good and even better when the tenors came closer to the audience.
To be sitting in a beautiful 150yr old church in Rome, enjoying the performance of Three Tenors, a ballerina and exceptional musicians was more than I imagined it would be. Each performance seemed to play on different emotions. Very happy that we took a second look at this when going through the many events on the Viator site and reserved our evening!
The Tenors sang beautifully, but they should have been standing closer to the audience. The piano player was excellent, but too loud. He drowned the Tenors out. The dancer was completely unnecessary. Felt like an irritant. Sorry!! 😔
This was a beautiful evening with the three tenors! Their voices were magical and the venue was amazing. I highly recommend this show.
Good night. Unfortunately the base music from the pub next door could be heard which did spoil it slightly. Pews are a bit uncomfortable. Tenors were lovely to listen to. Would recommend.
This was a great review of popular Italian opera songs performs by three great tenor voices. The only thing to be aware of is the stifling heat in the church and the hard pews which made the 70 minute show difficult. The thin padding on the pews didn’t help at all.
This was the highlight of our visit to Rome. The cathedral is beautiful and the music inspiring. We will make this part of our next visit to Rome for sure!
A beautiful evening of music and culture the three tenors did not disappoint us . There was a ballerina who also added to this amazing event .
It was a lovely way to experience and evening in Rome. Very intimate however it was disappointing in some. Parts the singing was quiet as they were not with microphones. We were only about 10 rows from the front and it would have been nice to hear it more better. Down the back would have struggled. Definitely need mics or if not possible then tennorsa to stand closer or walk down the aisle would have created better evening
Not worth it! Soooooo hot in there it was unbearable to stay. The three tenors were just ok - couldn’t really hear them - don’t know why they don’t wear microphones. We were in middle section so should be able to hear them very well. Why do they walk off the stage after every song? The dancer was on the lower level of stage so you couldn’t really see her.
A very enjoyable evening with wonderful singing, music and dance, in beautiful surroundings. Would definitely recommend.
What an awesome performance! The tenors, the musicians, and the dancer were all incredibly talented. The only reason I did not give 5 stars is that there was no air conditioning in the venue, and it was really warm.
A very entertaining concert. All the music is well known and approachable. The venue is amazing. It is a fairly short concert lasting about 75 mins with a short intermission.
It was a great night, truly enjoyed the event, the singing was magnificent, lovely touch having a ballet dancer. The venue only added to the magic of the night
Three Tenors performance at St. Paul’s Basilica within the Walls: Rating: 2.5/5 Review: The Three Tenors delivered strong vocal performances, showcasing their individual power and talent. However, the lack of harmonization was a significant drawback, resulting in a mediocre overall experience that didn’t fully capitalize on their collective potential. The addition of a ballerina pirouetting in front of the tenors was an odd and distracting choice, resembling a marionette or puppet from the back seats, which unintentionally turned parts of the performance into a comedic spectacle. While the venue’s acoustics likely enhanced their voices, the lack of cohesion and the bizarre staging detracted from what could have been a memorable concert.
I would highly recommend this event. Very organised upon arrival and the Three Tenors voices were out of this world and nearly brought a tear to our eye. The setting of St Paul with in the walls enhanced the whole experience with its beauty. One not to miss.
