Excellent- authentic and well paced . The guide was knowledgeable, interesting and approachable. Great street food with a real story and context.

Struggled to write this review as we enjoyed our guide who was friendly and enthusiastic. What we thought was just okay was the food. Getting an antipasti platter at the second location with no real explanation of what we were eating and why was strange. The restaurant where we had pasta, was nice to meet the owner and chef. This company is known for its street food tours, so it might be better to stick with that with this company. Overall, we enjoyed our time even though the food was just okay.

Fabulous food and wine in hidden gems. Excellent guide - very knowledgeable and good fun. Would highly recommend!

My husband and I enjoyed a wonderful evening walking around beautiful Ortigia. Giuseppe, our guide was knowledgeable and passionate about both local history and the dishes we were offered. The stops were local, authentic and often small family businesses. The food was tasty and plentiful. Giuseppe also had recommendations for attractions and other eateries. Highly recommend this your and particularly Giuseppe as a guide.

Fantastic tour, Tina is a great guide who lives locally and has a great rapport with the people she took us to visit. The food was fantastic. I didn't think I'd like the lampredotto, but it was great. Everything tasted so good.

Great small group food tour - fabulous local guide very authentic & fun

This was a fantastic way to introduce Roman cuisine to my kids. I was all in eating organ meats and I had two semi curious kids who loved this tour the most. DO NOT EAT ANYTHING BEFORE. I thought I was full after pasta but somehow had room for that transcendent bignet. Also the Dorrado cheese stall was uniquely amazing and lovely. Thank you Julia for such a great time! Come visit Texas and we’ll take you out for BBQ.

Sabina was delightful! She was very friendly, knowledgeable, shared her passion of food and culture. We so enjoyed our time with her. We were with one other couple, and had the best time. The food samplings were an experience. We loved the market. The lunch was an amazing experience. We ended the tour with a sweet and espresso. I highly recommend booking with Streaty and requesting Sabina. She is a delight!

This private nighttime food tour was an absolute five-star experience. Our guide, Giulia, along with Greta who was in training, were both wonderful—warm, knowledgeable, and made the evening feel so personal. Every food stop was incredibly authentic, and you could feel how proud the staff and owners were to share their specialties with us. There was so much food, and every bite was delicious. We especially loved exploring Testaccio, a lively neighborhood with a rich history, and getting a true glimpse into local Roman life.

Giulia was a wonderful guide- great information about the area we were visiting and about the foods we were tasting. Come hungry! We would definitely recommend.

The food was awesome! The spleen sandwich was interesting. So unusual ! And the chef won a tv show with best street food! Our group was delightful! Simone is who brought everything together and explained the food, culture, history, and her grandmother’s cooking? She truly was the star of the afternoon!!! Highly recommend! We had enjoyed a Streaty food tour in Palermo, so we had high hopes for Rome, and Julia delivered! Her love of Roman food and sharing special spots in her neighborhood is what put this over the top. The variety and number of stops were perfect. Everything we ate (and drank) was delicious and authentic. We especially enjoyed being able to engage with the owners at a couple of the spots. We’d recommend this tour in a heartbeat to anyone wanting the true Roman food experience, with some amazing history along the way!

This was really fun. The guide Nadia was very knowledgeable and was very fun and friendly. Wish I had done this the first day, because it was Nadia gave a lot of useful information about the foodscene in Palermo.

In early July we did the Palermo MORNING Street Food & Market Tour with Salvo. We have been on a lot of food tours, this one seemed like we were hanging out with a old friend or distant cousin who was showing us around their town. He was funny, insightful and helped us learn a lot about Palermo in a short time. Next time we are back we certainly will stay in Palermo longer and try another one of their tours. Thank you!

This tour was a highlight of our week in Naples. Our guide not only had wonderful treats to eat but gave us a personal perspective of living in Naples as well as history and culture. It was amazing and highly recommended.

11/10 experience with Sabina! I am allergic to dairy, but so much care was taken to make sure I could still experience Rome through its culinary wonders! Sabina organized with all the vendors and triple confirmed all food was free of allergens. She is also very knowledgeable about food history in Rome. Sabina was an absolute gem of a person and I’m so lucky to have had her as a guide! I would most definitely return to this company specifically for another food tour with her! Local products and preparations. You will leave happy and with a full belly! I forgot to take pictures of the vegan gelato, but it was superb!

We took a family trip with our young adult daughter (age 23) and thoroughly enjoyed the Streaty food tour in Palermo, Sicily. We did the evening tour and not only was it fun to try some of the local street food, our guide, Salvo, was very engaging and knowledgeable, which added to our enjoyment. It was a fun way to walk around parts of the city that we hadn’t yet explored while trying the food. The group was small enough that we didn’t feel “lost” in a tour group and the other participants were interesting and fun to talk to. Overall, a great experience; we would recommend it for anyone with kids/teens old enough to enjoy experimenting with new foods.

Our guide Manuela was phenomenal! Knowledgeable, energetic and passionate just touches the surface. She felt like family by the end of our tour. Fun, facts and food. Our guide did a great job of sharing history and hosting us at various street food stops. He took us to eat at his local favorited. I’d never tried fried pasta before and it was delicious. It’s a great fun way to get to know the city it’s food and its culture.

This is an extensive and very fun tour of Palermo street food and markets that also informs about Sicilian culture well. Tour guide is engaging and very knowledgeable. Filled at least the scheduled time with tastes of wide variety of food. Well worth cost.

This tour was fantastic! Our guide Angelo was passionate about Palermo and knew so much about the food and the city and its history and culture. And he was super funny and personable. All the other people on the tour were pleasant, too. We walked all over the historic part of Palermo and we ate great food from pastries to aperitivo to a full meal. He even showed us a traditional puppet theater which we went to later that night and had a once-in-a-lifetime cultural experience. We were amazed at how wonderful an experience this tour was!

Everything about this street food tour was awesome, worth every euro. Guide Antonio was a treasure chest of information - about Palermo, the cuisine, history, etc. A small sized group was perfect for trooping through markets and neighborhoods, the tour’s length of three hours was long enough to get a delicious taste of a a variety of foods, and the best part? Antonio takes his job seriously and it shows. His humor and affability, enthusiasm and knowledge, made this tour a gold star!

Had the best time with our guide Martina! It was great to have such an intimate, non-touristy experience and try local items from the best spots in Florence. Great information about the city as a whole all paired with yummy bites. Would recommend for adventurous and curious eaters.

Our street food journey was in Palermo with Alessandra as our guide. She expertly guided us thru back streets to her favorite places. Advise not having breakfast before your tour. You will eat more than you need hit one day. Highly recommend Streaty!

We joined Palermo street food tour on Saturday October 26. Our guide was Alessandro and he really did a great job. He is a professional chef so that added a real value to our tour. We tried variety of street food and drinks and found our favorite one. We highly recommend this 3 hour tour to everyone who likes food, good company and fun.

Great food tour with Sylvie visiting 3 small wine and Cicchetti bars. Sylvie has educational background in wines and history, and is a long-time Venice resident. She personally chose the wines for the tour. Plenty of wine and interesting bites. Guide is a 30-something and our tour was us (60's age couple) and 2 couples in their 20's-30's). It was really a lot of fun, great energy, and we highly recommend it.
