Emiliano was amazing! We booked this tour day of, and it was unexpectedly fantastic. So much information and fun. Would recommended without hesitation.

Fantastic tour with an amazing guide! Emiliano was the most enjoyable guide of our entire vacation! He was very knowledgeable, entertaining, and hilarious! All of the sites were very interesting and Emiliano shared many interesting stories about each stop.

I booked this tour and warned the company months in advance that I use a wheelchair but can walk and climb stairs with the aid of a robotic brace. I also told them I had my dad with me to carry my wheelchair if needed. I sent them 3 messages in total reminding them of this. They didn’t tell me until 24 hours before (when it was too late to request a refund) that they would not allow me on the tour. They said I would not be able to do the activities planned (without asking me the level of my ability) and telling me they were unwilling to put my chair in the trunk so I could have it with me once the tour was over. They claimed they would not give me a refund because the info said it wasn’t wheelchair accessible and requires moderate activity. I reminded them I never asked for them to make it wheelchair accessible, only for them to put my wheelchair in the trunk. And I’m literally a competitive athlete, “moderate physical fitness” is not a problem for me. I had to fight them and finally escalate the matter and bring up disability discrimination to get a refund. And you know what? My dad and I visited the capuchin crypt and the catacomb on our own by bus and had 0 issues. If anything, you can save money by just doing it on your own. The catacombs offer their own tour guide that does an excellent job and the crypt gives you an audio guide that’s fun to listen to and explains everything as you go. (Not sure the price, I got in free to both because of my disability)

Such great value for money. We went to places we never would have thought of or found on our own. In Rome, the churches can all start to blur into one, but not the ones visited as part of this tour!

All of the stops were interesting and our guide, Ion, was very educational. His descriptions and historical background added a lot of color to the places we visited, especially the catacombs.

This is my third for this tour. What I haven't received is a request to rate the Colosseum tour. Is that because the tour guide didn't show? Is it because they don't want to refund my money?

Tour was exactly as it was outlined when we booked the experience. Our tour guide did a great job. It was also a plus that they provided the bus transportation to and from the catacombs.

It was an amazing experience to visit the sacred places in Rome. The tour guides were exceptional and informative.

Our guide, Paula, was lovely. She was very knowledgeable and clearly loves her subject. Because of demonstrations and road blocks, the tour was disrupted and the final visit to the basilica had to be cancelled. However, Paula did a brilliant job keeping us all entertained and really gave value for money. The catacombs were fascinating.

Paula was excellent and we thoroughly enjoyed the tour. There was a delay due to protests in Rome and we had to miss the last part of trip. However, Paula continually communicated with our group and kept us engaged throughout, I would highly recommend Paula. Very knowledgeable and intelligent. A valuable asset to her company. Six stars!

Quite a full tour - seemed to be 40+ people. Had to split into two groups to go into the Crypts. This meant when you got to the Crypts themselves there wasn't space to look properly and it generally felt rushed. The coach to the catacombs was late and then was delayed en route so we were nearly an hour late. The Catacombs tour was fantastic, our guide was very knowledgeable and made the subject very interesting. Unfortunately with the delay by the time we were dropped back the shops we wanted to go to were closed.

Super cool ! I wish I could explore much more the catacombs But I'd probably get lost as apparently they're massive

Alain was a very knowledgeable guide and we learned a lot. The tour was long at a little over 4 hrs, but worth it.

Very interesting. Excellent guide at the Priscilla catacombe. Would have wanted a little more time at the Cappuciner museum, so as not to hurry down to the crypt.

Wonderful tour and guide who gave very detailed instructions on catacombs history. Only negative would be the short time allocated for the Capuchin Fathers visit.

This tour was so cool! Explores hidden gems in Rome and takes you to outside the city walls to see the catacombs. Our tour guide was Andrea who was so engaging and knowledgeable. You can really tell he loves what he does. He was our main guide at our stops and the second group that joined us in the bus was led by Emilio who was also great and gave the two groups some facts on the bus when we were traveling from spot to spot. I would highly recommend this tour, City Wonders is a great company and made it really easy to find them at the meeting spot too.

It was- fantastic tour and Emiliano was a great guide. He explained so much and was both friendly and professional. My husband and I couldn’t have imagined those catacombs and crypts until we actually saw them. Overall, a very worthwhile and informative tour.

A fantastic tour; I wish I could give it six stars! Andrea was one of the best guides we’ve ever had for any tour, ever. We feel we had a college level course on the history, sociology, and religion of the Capuchin and Domat catacombs. Andrea was extremely personable , funny, and so so knowledgeable. Excellente!!

Comprehensive approach to the theme of hope in death ('the lord rejoices in the death of his saints') with the interpretation of the ossuary and crypts. Excellent displays. The Tour guide should be more clear about balancing time in the museum and ossuary and which displays to focus on. Otherwise we don't have enough time to do justice to both!!!! Also, bathroom breaks need to be incorporated into the schedule; they are not 'emergency' breaks! Please don't do question and answer for basic questions from the audience about rome during the tour. Provide more background and history. Stories about real people involved in building and creating these wonders are special to the audience.

We are so glad we did this tour. We had the morning free and booked it last minute. Our guide, Cat, was the most knowledgeable guide we have had in Italy so far. All 3 places we went were very interesting and unusual. I would have liked a little more time in the Capuchin Crypts and museum. The catacombs were amazing and totally worth every minute we spent there. Overall fantastic tour and fantastic guide.

We chose a private tour, which allowed us to be picked up at our hotel and dropped off. Our guides were knowledgeable. We had them all to ourselves and everything they spoke about and showed us was incredible.

Ian is personable and relates much great information in a clear and relevant way. It adds a lot to have more historical context and detail than the often limited or non-existent signage at many historical sites.

We were primarily interested in the catacombs but the crypt ended up being very interesting. Our guide was knowledgeable and energetic. The bus driver handled the chaotic Rome traffic expertly.

Definitely a must do if in Rome and I learned a lot. The only bad part of the trip is how rushed we felt when going through the crypt at the church. A lot like the vatican museums, its hard to stop and look. Saw things I never would have visited if not on this tour and we did pass the long line at the first church. 2nd church had a tunnel that connected to a 1700 year old home Would definitely recommend this tour.

The tour is 4 hours long. Eat something before you go. Limited bathroom breaks. The tour was good. I thought we would have seen more of the catacombs the guides were knowledgeable.
