St. Peter Basilica Reserved Entry With Audioguide & Dome Option

We had a wonderful day at St Peter’s. We were running a bit late, so we got in touch with our host, who was absolutely lovely and very helpful. Apparently, there was a special event taking place at the Basilica that day, so it was rather busy, but we still thoroughly enjoyed our visit. The audio guide worked perfectly on our phones, and our host made sure everything was set up properly before we went in. Overall, a really lovely experience

The church was unbelievable, although our 3:15PM "Skip The Line" Pass put us behind hundreds of other people with reservations---took over an hour to finally get in the church.

you should be told in the instructions that you need to use your phone for the audio guide so be sure each person has a phone and headphones or earbuds. Also ID is required which should also be in the instructions Even with a pre booked time prepare to be in line a long time before actually entering the building- it took us 45 minutes in line.

This is a good option if you neglected to get the public tickets in time before they sold out. You still have to wait in the security line which can take awhile, about 1.5 hrs for us. The audio portion worked fine unless you attempted switching to your camera in the middle of it. So if possible, have someone else take photos on a different phone! The audio included a map on your phone to help direct you where to go.

This tour is self guided and requires your own phone , eaephones with Bluetooth connection, and data or internet connection.

It was raining quite when we were supposed to enter, but they contacted us beforehand and sent everything digitally, which made things much easier customer service wa helpful and we also liked the visitor map with interesting information about the Basilica and Rome.

It’s convenient to have reserved entry to the Basilica as it saves a lot of time queueing. I had a solemn visit with an audioguide that was easy to follow and very informative.

Guide was a great communicator and easy to find at the meet up point. This is just what we were looking for!

Awful! Wrong directions and no guided tour. They dumped us and left us. This was just a grab for money to skip the line.

Enjoy that we could do the tour of the Basilica on our own with our smartphones. Maybe have a tour for when you’re up in the dome to give information to couples moving forward

Great to experience the beauty of the basicila. The guide was sick so I ended up doing everything on my own. Company was good in sending over all the necessary information ahead of time though. The view from the dome is incredible

St. Peter’s is a must see. Be prepared to still wait in a line even with online ticket purchase. Viator guide, Joseph, was great. He waited at the pick up spot for us and escorted us to “skip the line” entrance. He was very thorough and helpful.

The only positive from that experience was that we could skip the line at the entrance. There were no headphones provided for audio tour and the info about Basilica was very basic (could get them online anyway). Felt like I spent them money for nothing really. The entrance to the Basilica is for free and if you are ok with longer line than there is no need to purchase this experience.

I booked it a long time in advance since an acquaintance warned me about the lines in Rome and indeed it was very helpful, they were super kind, they even recommended things to do after the basilica. I recommend it 100%, they have one of the best services and attention, I had other reservations in Rome and none treated me like they did.
