Take part in the guided tour of the Tour of St. Peter, you will visit the square in front of the Basilica, its wonderful interiors, its works and the tombs of the popes who have marked history.
It was a wonderful tour and our guide was very knowledgeable. My only problem was finding the meeting place because the information that I got through Viator and my confirmation did not match where they were located. I would suggest calling the operator and confirming the meeting location.
We waited for 45 minutes for our guide who never showed up. We called the tour group and they told us we were in the right spot. We called back multiple times and there was no answer. We love Viator but this was a bust. We do expect to have a refund. I hope Viator also get the refund from the tour group.
This was the worst experience of our trip! We arrived 15 minutes early to the meeting point with no other instructions other than to look for an orange sign. We looked everywhere. Turns out it was at a cafe and she was sitting with a laptop, no group of tourists. When I went up to her she said the tour was at 2 pm not 3pm like my reservation said! She asked if I had received a message in whats app and I showed her I did not! I also showed her my Viator reservation and that I had already been charged! She went to look in her laptop and she conveniently said her laptop died and that I could request a refund through Viator. I did and still have not heard anything back! Book at your own risk!
We came early to the meeting spot and there was no one there. Tried contacting the guide and the tour company no on responded. Waited for 40 mins and no one came. Very disappointing as we paid a lot for this tour
It was incredibly thorough in terms of the information and history given by our tour guide, Tania. She was INCREDIBLE!!! Because we went after Ash Wednesday, the crowds and line were unseasonably long. However, Tania was so engaging and knowledgeable. She kept us glued to everything she said which made the long wait worth it!!!

Our tour guide, Maria was great. But the instructions to turn in our vouchers at a different location was bogus. The young man waving the flag was nice but not even close to the right color or right name
Great tour. Very interesting and informative with an excellent guide. Quite fast paced and you do need to keep up with the guide, but once you are in St Peter’s you can stay on at leisure after the conclusion of the guided tour and revisit parts of the Basilica. One thing… if you receive an instruction via Viator having booked telling you to collect tickets from Via Di Porta Cavalleggeri in exchange for vouchers… don’t bother! It is incorrect and I wasted time trailing there! Simply go to the meeting point stated in the booking and tell the guide. You will save unnecessary time and effort.
This was a great experience for the price. Keep in mind you do have to go through a security check point before entering
This tour was fantastic and the tour agent Sam gave full information about the Basilica. He is well we qualified and elegant, polite person. We love to tour with him next time George Bcherrawi
Wow, what an amazing experience. Bigger and more beautiful than you could imagine. Be prepared to battle some crowds and wait in line, but it’s 100% worth it. Our guide, Peter, was great. He was easy to understand and kept us all interested with fascinating details about the basilica. I was so impressed and very glad we did it. Highly recommend this tour!
The whole experience after finding out tour meeting spot was amazing! The day we went our amazing tour guide Sam said it wasn’t too packed - we got lucky. From entrance to exiting the church was breath taking. It really helps having a guide so you know what you are looking at.
Was put with a tour guide (Wen) with a heavy Asian accent. Could not understand anything she said and was not moved to a new guide nor given refund requested. Missed out on once in a lifetime tour.
The guide was very perfessional and his English was perfect. The tour itself was well done and there were areas/things we were shown which one would not notice otherwise, including the tomb of an English monarch.

Just a terrible experience. The tour operator did everything wrong. Our guide did not show up on time so another operator worker (who did not speak Spanish and who was not responsible for our group) accompanied us to the entrance queue to the Basilica because this tour does not include any kind of quick entrance to the Basilica, you have to queue normally. Tour time is probably the worst with the longest queue (the operator should offer more options). After more than 1 hour of queuing without any guide, one person appeared to replace the original guide. This guide was not fluent in Spanish at all having to correct him enough times to let the whole group know. Once inside the Basilica began a race where in 40m we were shown 4 points of the basilica and finished the tour. Honestly very disappointed.
