We booked our guide to visit St. Pietro Basilica, through Headout. Valentina was our guide (in Italian language). She was amazing and I believe she made our experience so much more enjoyable. She took her time to explain everything in great details. It was a very remarkable experience and booking through an agency was very much worth it. Grazie Valentina!!!

Katy, the guide, was marvelous, and so was the tour. She had many informations. The only problem was that we thought (1) the cupula tickets would be ready, but we had to stay in lines to buy them, and (2) there is no such thing as "skip the line".

the guide's strong accent in combination with the poor audio quality from the receiver was a deadly combination! We didn't understand almost anything! The guide was checked by the local authorities and it turned out he didn't pay all of the necessary fees. The tour was delayed because of poor organization. Would not recommend.

We had the tour to the cupple and the Sant Peters Church. It was very, very good and interesting with many informations. Inmaculta was our tourguide and she was the best!!

Paulo was our tour guide and the experience was wonderful. He is very knowledgeable, friendly and fun to be around. We enjoyed the tour much more than expected, learned a lot and would go with Paulo to any other tour with a great pleasure.

Once you've found the ticket office and waited for the guide to walk you to the colosseum Its good. The addition of the other sites also are very interesting. This trip could easily make a whole day's enjoyment. The queue for the colosseum entrance was massive, so this trip was very useful. I must stress allow plenty of time to find ticket office, is not that close to the colosseum. But a well recommended trip all in.

Raffaella our guide was very knowledgeable and group of 16 was friendly and not too large. The guide greatly helped our understanding of the history of these ancient sites and happily answered questions. Very personable and professional. We beat the queues at Colosseum and Forum and highly recommend City Tours.

Once finally inside the Colosseum, we had a great time. However our original 2:30pm tour on Friday “had not been passed on to Roman Empire Tours from Viator” - they said they could take us at 4:45 that day or not until the next day. They also refused to give me any kind of confirmation for the change. Sketchy and unreliable but thankful we made it in!

Passionless tour. Literally just got through the lines at the Colosseum and the Roman Forum. No discussion about the sites. Guide ran through the crowds leaving people scattered. I gave it a 3 stars because it fulfilled the primary goal — skipping the lines. But to call this a “tour” is stretching it pretty far.

One had to register in a nearby office; we did not receive tickets but became part of a guided tour; start of the tour was delayed by more than an hour; entrance was only possible with the guide; before getting even near to the entrance of the colosseum the guide talked more than 45 minutes about history (although interesting, it was not what we booked); audio guide technique was bad -> one had to be very close to the guide. Our suggestion: take sun milk, the ordinary queue and read a book while waiting -> will eventually be faster

This was awful. The listing said we had to be there by 9 am to get out tickets. We got there at 8:30 and waited 2 hours for our tickets. They wait for the people to show up and make them wait while they buy the tickets. This tour was not as advertised.

We booked this in advance but there was 15 euros pp to pay on going to booking office for headsets.. The queues are unbelievable to enter The Colosseum. Plenty of time should be allowed to get to the booking office, check in and set off to The Colosseum with your guide. We were not overly enthralled with this trip. If we were to do it again, we would pre book tickets to get ahead in the queues but research it better and do it under our own steam. We saw very little of the Colosseum and could not hear our guide very well. We were given choice to stay there after his talk OR go with him over the road to The Palatine where he admitted us and then left us! This was much better!! We explored at our own pace and paid 6euros pp to a museum which we both found very interesting. Felt this was a bit of a -rip -off- the -tourist trip. Our son-in-law had been and their guide had taken them round The Palatine as well. Don't think ours could be bothered.

Awful tour company, VERY UNORGANISED! Poor customer service. They didn’t know what was going on! FAIL!

With Valentina our guide we visited St. Peter's Basilica, Catacombs and Dome, everything was great, the guide was very explicit with everything, we would repeat without a doubt, out of 10.

We were greeted by nice and sympathetic people, everything went as it should have. We entered at the appointed time to visit the Colosseum, the Roman Forum and the Palatine Hill. I highly recommend.

Spectacular guys, line up in a heartbeat. And with a Colosseum ticket I was also advised to see 2 other museums included in the ticket itself♥️ thank you very much I don't have much patience for the lines
