This was. A horrible experience! I purchased this an advance and paid in full for my family on my husbands birthday. They said they never got the reservation, and made us wait an hour but provided a refund! They were rude, unhelpful, blamed everyone else and on our last day we did nothing get to see the sistene chapel even though I booked a month in advance. Ruined my families day and husbands birthday. Don’t make the same mistake!!!!

Choose from one of several start times, then head tour our office on Via Santamaura 21 close the Vatican Museums entrance. After meeting your guide, you’ll bypass the main entrance line with your skip-the-line ticket. Start exploring the collections of the Vatican Museums, hearing the history that dates back to the 16th-century days of Pope Giulio II. Subsequent popes added to the museums’ collection an impressive portfolio of art that weaves some 4.35 miles (7km) around the complex. Discover masterpieces of Greek Classical art and Renaissance wonders by the likes of Michelangelo and Raphael. Highlights include the ancient statue of Laocoön and His Sons, and the Transfiguration, Raphael’s last painting. Wonder among the works of Italian masters such as Leonardo da Vinci, Perugino, and Fra Angelico. Along your way, you’ll hear little-known tales about the Catholic church,. Finish your tour of the Vatican Museums with a visit to the Sistine Chapel, home of Michelangelo’s The Last Judgement, then step inside St. Peter’s Basilica to gaze at La Pietà among baroque and Renaissance architecture. Before you leave, you can also visit the papal crypt, where Pope John Paul II and others were laid to rest.

Seeing the frescoes and painting of Raphael is as amazing as the Sistine Chapel

This your company said our reservation was cancelled but it was not. I called Viator to confirm. They messed it up and did not accommodate us. They ruined our day completely. This was booked a month in advance and we had our confirmation and booking reservation and paid in full. They told us they would make it right and made us wait over an hour and then said no they would not, they were so rude and should not be in business!!!! Don’t make the same mistake!!!!!
Truly enjoyed visiting the Vatican highly recommend the store. Very informative and a perfect size. Excellent
Skipping the line was great. Tour guide was great. Would liked to have seen more Egyptian collection.
We liked the skip the line but were astounded and very disappointed that you had to be separated from the tour due to being in a wheelchair. We were never told in advance that taking the tour when in a wheelchair wasn’t possible. We had to go on our own with a device that was ineffective. Numbering system was inaccurate and sometimes numbers didn’t exist. I beg you to find ways to be more inclusive for those with disabilities.
Tour guide never showed up for our tour, eventually after waiting 1 hour another person showed up and explained the owner had an emergency and he was filling in. Terrible communication while we waited over an hour. Use another company, there are plenty of options.
First bit of advice is book early as you may not be able to get ticket and you will save yourself money. My friend and I struggled to find tickets and this was our last result within budget. Second bit of advice is book with this tour operator, the tour operator was easy to find at their meeting place and they were fantastic. Unfortunately I can not remember the name of our guide but she was AMAZING and so knowledgeable and fantastic working her way and us through the busy rooms and hallways of the Vatican, because it really does get busy. Make sure you wear something that covers your upper body, a big light scarf will do and take water as it can be hot and you are in there for a long time and there are lots of people

The Vatican Museums, Sistine Chapel, and St. Peter's Basilica were awe-inspiring, but the fast pace of the tour left little time to appreciate each sight. We were on our own after the Sistine Chapel but would’ve preferred to be left inside the museum to go back & see things at a more leisurely pace. While the guide's knowledge was evident, her slight language barrier got in the way and her fast pace impacted the overall experience.
Roberto is the best!!!! The tour was great and very informative. Skipping the line is well worth it. Great tidbits from Roberto.
Great guide, skipped the queues So much to see. Impressive craftsmanship No more words, it’s not my job ………
Luciana was awesome, loved her. Great with all ages. Highly recommend this tour. Very informative and explained a lot of history.
Luciana was a great guide for the Vatican! We saw the Cistene chapel & Vatican museum. The entire thing is chaotic but our guide did an awesome job of getting us through the chaos, making sure nobody got lost, and allowed us time for photographs. She was highly knowledgeable on the history of the art work and she made the tour very interesting a fun while taking time to answer questions. The location to meet was a little hard to find so for anyone who reads this just look at the numbers on the sides of the buildings.
Roberto was amazing! Very fun tour with our family of 3! Lots of fun information to listen to. He took his time and made sure we saw and knew fun facts along the way. 10/10
We did not get to do the tour because the guide left without us, even though we arrived at meeting location 20 minutes early. We wandered around and could not find the guide, or any signs for meeting, and guide never reached out to us. I sent request to the guide, and they responded 30 minutes after the meeting time, that we were a no show. Filed a complaint. Still waiting on resolution.
Roberto is a great tour guide! We did a private tour, skipping lines and getting direct attention from our host. The tour was very informative and Roberto was quite funny!
Estefania was an amazing tour guide! She was so kind and energetic. She also took great care to explain the depictions in many of the paintings and sculptures we looked at and she gracefully answered all of our questions. We took the tour in Spanish and she demonstrated a great command of the Spanish language as well. We finished the tour in two hours and we learned a lot!
Valentina did a great job. Quite knowledgeable. Love the little tidbits she shared. The only disappointing part was the St Peter Basilica was closed.
It was a really fun and funny tour. He was knowledgeable but also fun and engaging. He did a great job engaging with the kids.
Antonietta was the best tour guide I have had of the Vatican, having been there twice before. I learn something new every time and it’s so much easier when your guide can speak clearly to you without a heavy accent.
Tour guide was excellent very knowledgeable and made the 3 hours at the Vatican City enjoyable 5 stars from all our family.
Fantastic tour with Tonia. Very knowledgeable and great fun! The smaller group helps as you can navigate the many areas of the Vatican much more efficiently and get a lot more in than the other, larger tour groups.
Super good ! Our guide was so nice , we can say that the way that she explained everything it’s so worth it , we totally recommend it ( ask for her )
Great and knowledgeable tour guide. She is amazing, she even remember everyone’s name, 12 of us in the group, make sure not loose anyone of us in the crowd ! She told us all the tricks to see the most out of our limit time. Save is time to wait in line, well worth it.
Roberto led an excellent tour of the Vatican. I appreciated the humor along with the history. The pace was perfect as well! Thank you Roberto
Luciana was a great tour guide given a knowledgeable overview providing a solid introduction and insightful information about the artworks.
Our tour guide not only knew about this tour, but was obviously passionate about it. She was friendly and somehow managed to remember the names of every person on tour (I believe 13). It was more than thorough. I highly recommend.
Super good guide! Thanks! She doesn’t loose time and makes the best of the experience, recommended to all, good experience
This was a great tour, Our guide Luciana was like a waking history book but kept it interesting and engaging. I would strongly recommend this tour group, it was really both informative and enjoyabke
This tour is amazing and beautiful. Robert our tour guide was full of knowledge on the Vatican, answered all our questions, and had us laughing the whole time! So happy I was able to do this tour.
Roberto is intended a gentleman. He was knowledgeable and very personable. We enjoyed his sense of humor. I highly recommend Mr Roberto for the Collesium tour.
I booked a tour, was informed the night before they needed to change it to the earlier tour. When I arrived at the location provided to a closed/locked building. When I reached out I was told they were entering and I lost out, sorry? With no refund/credit provided, I have been unable to reach anyone since nor has anyone contacted me in reference to this issue.
Well organized. Great tour guide!!! Difficult to hear with the whisperers so we missed quite a bit. Would be nice if blue tooth could be used. Especially for us that wear hearing aids.
Although tour guide was excellent, I was quite disappointed with Vatican. Over crowded they let far to many people in at once. So you are rushed through saying that you can go back after tour if you like but really to crowded for that. We also paid for sis teen chapel which tour guide did not come in ,as she said you cannot talk ,take photos or have phones out.you go in and are rushed though by guards so cannot really look up as they are moving you along so fast and you are trying not to stand on person in front of you. I think it probably took two minutes from one end to the other. Foot note, there was tour guides in there with there group stood in the middle of the floor people talking and phones out, so don’t understand why our tour guide could not take us in and let us stand in the middle.
Guide was not available and they were unable to find someone else. So we had to do tour unguided and we’re offered a $10 per Person refund.
Tour guide was excellent, but definitely wasn’t small group as promised and purchased - there were 30+ people in the group.
So the Vatican tour itself was wonderful! but going through this tour was a waste of money. All we did was meet with the tour company a few blocks from the vatican. The host walked us in and through the ticket line, gave us our tickets and made sure we got the head sets and then we were given a tour guide through the vatican. If possible, it would probably save quite a bit reserving your tickets and tour directly through the Vatican. but definitely reserve ahead of time!!
The guide cancelled at the last minute and the only benefit we had was fast pass . It’s almost impossible to get the benefit without a guide . Do not book through this company
The tour time was changed less than a day before the start and was only notified by a generic email that didn't find its way into my notifications. Upon waking up, discovering this email and finding out the tour was starting in 30 mins, we called the reception who told me I 'should have checked my email' and that she will 'try to get the guide to wait' but 'couldn't promise anything'. Despite this the guide did wait briefly and we manged to find her right outside the museum. We were then escorted into the Vatican museum, which was the busiest museum I've ever been to. I think we were assigned an official tour guide, who wasn't too enthusiastic (understandably as there were SO many people). She had quite a strong accent, was a little hard to understand, and didn't seem too interested in what she was talking about. The museum is home to some of the best works of art ever made, and this tour did allow us to skip the line, but the company changing the time less than a day before and telling me I should have 'checked my email' didn't sit too well. Overall would recommend just booking a ticket via the museums website
Our tour guide Luciana was excellent and had a easy manner whilst conveying a real passion for the artwork and architecture she explained both to the adults and to the children in our groups. We sll enjoyed an enlightening tour of the vatican and the Cistine Chapel. A few hours can only scratch the surface of such a collection of art bit I can certainly say I left with a deeper knowledge and appreciation of the subject. Good organisation and friendly people.
Raphael rooms. Good description of paintings and a sense of order to the presentation. Sistine Chapel packed!!!
The guide called Marcus was a super guide!!!!!!! He kniws a lot and we were very gladto have such a person like him to go to all of this diverse museums
Sculptures, paintings, from Leonardo Da Vinci, Michelangelo, Rafaelo and other famous artists are breathtaking. The buildings are beautiful. The Sistine Chapel is unbelievable. Our guide was knowledgeable and friendly, showing every detail of the tour.
Veronica is wonderful! Such a great tour! There we’re a few other people on this tour but it was total 6 people. Veronica was able to speak to us all. Very knowledgeable.
Our guide was amazing! She had a vast knowledge and carful attention to detail. My girlfriend and I learnt a lot about the art and history of the Vatican. The tour was one of our favourite things we did in Rome.
We've had a very pleasant experience with the tour, the guide was very friendly and knowledgeable and because of coronavirus we got a private tour!
Fantastic guide Claudia really made the trip. Was unbelievably knowledgeable and keen to simplify everything for all ages on the tour. Time taken was ideal and could not recommend highly enough. We were there last week during the corona virus hysteria and it was a perfect time to view the Vatican and Rome as it was quieter than expected which gave us prime viewing of all sites. Would recommend to everyone and especially suggest you choose Claudia as your guide. Thank you Claudia and I hope you have a great year doing what you are amazing at.
Claudia our guide was lovely. Very knowledgable and kept the tour moving at a good pace. There is so much to see in the museum but she showed us a good selection of the exhibits. The Sistine Chapel was amazing and even though I could have spent longer there Claudia's explanation of the meaning behind the paintings helped me to focus on what I was looking at. St Peter's didn't disappoint either. It was breathtaking. To be able to skip the line at the Vatican and to have the guide's knowledge is well worth the cost. The tour was easy to book, easy to find the meeting point and easy to follow. Thoroughly recommend 7 Hills and Claudia was a great guide.
Our tour guide was very knowledgeable about Rome and Vatican history and provided lots of useful information. She managed to show us Sistine Chapel despite the fact that the Chapel was closed till 2:00pm without proper notice.
We missed our original tour. We called uber (don't use) and after several cancellations by the drivers we made it there 30 minutes late. Sandra was very accommodating and moved us to the next day. She also suggested we use "Free now" app for transportation which we did successfully the remainder of our visit. The tour was excellent. Our guide brought it to life. A spectacular place. The only downside is if you fell towards the back of the group the radio transmitter went in and out.
