The instructions for the meeting point were clear, the process to get our passes was easy, our guide was truly exceptional. His explanations were clear and interesting and his pace was easy to follow. We enjoyed every minute of the experience!

Take a water bottle and a hat. Wear comfortable walking shoes. You will walk through some beautiful galleries and see some stunning architecture. A fantastic way to see a special part of the Vatican city.

Our guide- Henry- was spectacular. Although he must have given this tour many times, his presentation was fresh and animated. He navigated the group rapidly through the labyrinth like lines of people and security systems, and very effectively moved us through crowds and right up in front of the key exhibits he most wanted us to see. It’s clear that Henry has a deep and detailed understanding of both history and art. He wasn’t just moving around and pointing out things- he had a teachable point of view on what newcomers to the Vatican State need to understand about the history of the papacy, its roots in the emergence, development and domination of Christianity. Out of thousands of artifacts and items at the Vatican museum Henry has useful views on key artifacts/art on which to hinge ones understanding of the Vatican and he weaves a compelling narrative on the history, the people and the larger events of the day. Unlike most tours I’ve attended, I learned a great deal today and appreciate what Henry delivered for our group and my wife and I.

Henri was the BEST guide we have ever had. As an art historian, he was a passionate teacher and advocate of the wonders that we saw. He was thoughtful of everyone in the group and so animated and knowledgeable that we felt like we were in the best personal art history class ever! Everything was perfect. Caroline was a terrific guide. She explained so much about everything in the Vatican museum and told us so much about what we were going to see in the Sistine Chapel. Then she walked us around St. Peter’s Basilica at the end which was an incredible experience. She never rushed us and stopped repeatedly to make sure everyone in our group of 19 was accounted for. This was a great tour and the highlight of our trip to Rome.

The guide for our tour was a warm and a very knowledgeable woman - I learned so much. my only regret is that the tour wasn't twice as long because there was so much to see and I wanted to linger in front of the incredible artwork a lot longer than we had time for it. it was such an astounding collection.

Our tour guide, Sofia, was engaging and insightful as she navigated us for nearly three hours, in and around throngs of people, through the Vatican Museum, Sistine Chapel, and St. Peter's Basilica. Without a professional guide, it's easy to get overwhelmed by all the art and statues, but Sofia made the tour approachable and accessible pointing out the highlights in each gallery and keeping your interest engaged. Wear comfortable shoes and be prepared for crowds. You are provided headphones so you can easily hear your guide, as long as you stay within view of her/him.

Roberto was very good. He provided all the history and brought us efficiently as possible through the highlights of museums, Sistine chapel and Basilica. A memorable experience!

Such a great experience! So glad we did this because the line when we left was so long. Our tour guide got us to the front and through specialized guide entrances throughout. She was very knowledgeable and gave us tons of historical facts. 100% recommend

Good tour guide (Alessandra), but the tour is way too expensive for what you get. We opted out of the basilica and were so glad we did as we had hours to explore the other exhibits at our leisure. Take advantage of the hours you can stay once you're inside. Other exhibits that are not on the way to the chapel are incredible and not busy -- very chill day after the tour.

Henry the tour guide was amazing for our Vatican Museums, Sistine Chapel and St Peter’s tour. Energy and information was a highlight for us!

Our tour guide Roberto, was the best tour guide that we had on any of our tours. The way that he explained each thing about Michelangelo‘s work and just everything around that time was the best from anyone in Rome he explained each part of the Sistine chapel and it was amazing for people that do not have any knowledge of the Bible. He explains it in a very easy to understand way. Everything was very beautiful and we felt that you had enough time to actually get through everything and take your time in each site to enjoy it.

Well organised and stuck to the tight schedule needed to negotiate our way through all the amazing articles and areas included within this tour. Allow time for public transport issues to ensure arrival 30 minutes prior the scheduled departure time, particularly at weekends. Our train arrived 15 minutes late for short trip up to St Peter’s. Then had negotiate the crowds to make our way across St Peter’s Square to the meeting point. It always looks sooo easy on Google Maps. The guide was exceptional. Keep us all together, knew details for everything we visited and got the tone just right.

Our guide Alexandra was extremely knowledgeable and made sure that none of us were left behind in such a busy location. The tour was probably too busy for our party but that is not the fault of our guide or tour company. Very enjoyable overall but could do with a sit down or coffee stop in the middle of the tour as a breather from the crowds.

From start to finish, our guide “Elena” kept us engaged and thoroughly informed on the history of all the amazing sites and artwork. In addition, she provided little known facts about Roman history that likely few have ever even heard of. Truly a breathtaking and informative experience that I would gladly do again!!

This tour is a must-see and you will be treated to a one-of-a-kind tour through the most historic and meaningful area of the Catholic religion that is quite the visual experience. You will also get a good walking workout! Our Italian guide was excellent and did a great job of pointing out the highlights and historical nuggets of info about The Vatican, the massive and impressive St Peter's and the exquisite, amazing power of the art of the Sistene Chapel. Hard to describe it adequately ... so just take the tour and see for yourself!

This was a fantastic tour. Eleanor was knowledgeable, funny and efficient. Great leadership for a group through a busy entrance and scanning system. Kept everyone together in a timely fashion. Her gallery knowledge was brilliant and we were guided to may interesting artifacts and learned the history of the buildings and galleries themselves. The talk about the Sistine Chapel was informative and funny and helped us understand the paintings and process when we were there. Just what we needed to navigate the buildings and artistry of the Vatican Museums and Sistine chapel.

We had an amazing tour with Daniele V.! He’s incredibly knowledgeable and passionate. He guides you seamlessly with a touch of humor through the history and art without it ever feeling like a rehearsed script—you just want to listen and follow along.

We had a wonderful visit to the Vatican City first thing today with Elinor. She certainly knew her stuff and made the trip in a very busy environment seamless. Thoroughly enjoyed listening to the history- she brought to life all the characters and events. Would recommend this tour to get the most from your trip.

Benny was a SUPERB tour guide! She expertly guided us through the maze of lines at the Vatican Museums and gave us so much good information about the art and architecture covered in historical information. She was funny, warm, and most of all, well-versed in the subject matter! What a gem! She made the experience more rich and allowed us to appreciate the wonder of the Basilica and Chapel with her leading the way.
