it was so so nice and pascuelo was even more amazing! although ee had to wait 10 minuts it was honestly fine because they had chairs and sofas.
Had no easy way to find and once we did we missed the check in and lost $100. Told too bad so sad. Just book with an operator when you are ready to ensure you get the tour you wanted and not pay double.
Fantastic tour, quick and easy front of the line. Maybe needs a little more signage. Friendly and quick service.
Terrible. I don’t normally write reviews but this is worth it. Tour guide was incredibly rude and screamed at us multiple times for not standing orderly and using the bathroom. Multiple people left during our tour and told the man giving the tour they were leaving due to his lack of respect for others. Spent over an hour talking about a poster outside the actual museum we did not want to see. By the end of the tour we were rushed through the Sistine Chapel, only reason of taking the tour. During our tour we observed rugs for 45 mins. Everyone seemed to have an issue with the guide and after discussing with other families there, they all seemed dissatisfied with the experience. Such a shame how a beautiful place is shown to tourists. Will never use this company again.
Our guide was a nice guy but difficult to understand. He talked for 20 minutes before we left the office. We got inside the Vatican Museum area but then stood in the sun for over 1 1/2 hours while the guide talked. Other tours came and went and we just stood and waited for him to finish. The tour was listed as a2.5hr tour. We didn’t have time to enjoy the museum. I would not recommend this Tour Company. If you decide to go with them, ask for details first.
Very poor information from the guide actually we didn’t have one . Place was dirty and furniture were very old and very dirty bathrooms as well .
This is ridiculous you purchase a ticket online and then I get to the front of the line and they tell me that i have to go back to another building to get the barcode to get into the Vatican. Ridiculous service. I ended up walking back to the building and waiting in line to get a physical printed barcode receipt.! Never again
I used VIATOR to visit VATICAN MUSEUM AND CHAPEL the agent never showed with the entrances so I call him and he promise me a full refund but VIATOR just refund me $934.00 of the total amount of $4674.00
Informative and interesting! Perfect way to experience the city of Rome and Vatican treasures! Recommend
Interesting trip, seeing lots of artefacts and paintings. It made it so much easier skipping the queue as it was enormous! Highly recommended.
Did exactly what it said it would do; helped us skip the line. We met up in an office across the street and he guided us to the right place to get in.
queues very long, ticket really helped to get in quicker, museum is really big and loads to look at, highly recommend this
Didn’t get to go as ticket office was so far away by the time we got there we were told too late and we couldn’t go. Requested refund still waiting to hear back
It was easy to find the office to get the “Skip” the line sticker and hard copy of the pass. I wish; however, that we could have just used a paperless process. Also, we got to the line one ticket was for 11 and the other 2 were for 11:30; they should have all been for 11:15 am. The line attendant would not let us all go in until 11:30. So we had to wait in the hot sun to get in. That was unpleasant.
Got their early and was told I had to wait to get my vouchers till time indicated. Then got my vouchers and still had to wait for man to guide us. Then the gentlemen gave us a few instructions and said go ahead. No one knew where to go and to find out we had to wait in another line. If I waited in regular line when I first got there I would of been in before my allotted time.
Most memorable moment? The four I paid tickets for $238 for were NOT accepted at the Vatican because we were told that the vouchers were to be taken to a Viator office to redeem our tickets by the people who worked at the Vatican……I was scammed by Viator! Never again! Just go to Vatican and buy the tickets!
I got these tickets for my boyfriend and I, we knew we wanted to go to the Vatican but didn’t want to spend 2-3 hours waiting in line. We got skip the line tickets for 8:15am and were able to experience the Vatican way emptier than it was the last time I was in Rome! I admit that I *was* skeptical because of the low stars, but I can confirm this is a legit place with legit tickets. All you need to do is follow the instructions and show up on time (aka 25min before) and you won’t have any problems 🤷♀️. The voucher clearly states no rescheduling, and if you cancel then you get $0 back.
I had my initial ticket cancelled the day before the reserved date without notice. When I called support, I was extremely lucky they had another cancellation about the same time I needed to be there. I bought a “skip the line” ticket but was put in a line anyways along with the entire group I was with. I’m not sure why I paid extra money for this convenience when I didn’t receive the benefit.
Everything was great, i had a wonderful experiente, this is my second time în Rome, but i find it more beautiful.
I liked the part where you changed the start time and denied it than refused to change our time or give a refund. Fun times!
Experiences horrible. They have a little bitty office off the main drag, which they do not tell you it took us an hour and a half to find the office only to wait in line. Do not use the service.
It was great we didn't have to wait in line to purchase tickets from the original venue, but we really didn't skip the line and go in right away. We still had to wait in a line for just about 5-10 minutes.
Terrible experience. Using this is similar felt like being scammed. There was no access to the tickets, even after you down the load and the PDF as it lists to do. You must walk to a location of theres and have them access it to print it off. We got lost for over 1.5 hours looking for this location. I wrote to the app asking for help with the directions, no response. When we arrived - they were closing and extremely rude. Said that we are late, they are closed we missed our opportunity no refund. We were visiting from NYC, both work in customer service and understand that things happen but the way this was handled is unacceptable.
Skip the line is highly recommended. There were huge lines and crowds of people. The advantage of this tour is you can take as long as you like or do it as quickly as you like. I would recommend adding a tour guide and will do so in the future.
Horrible !!!’ Do not use them !!! They changed my ticket time with very short notice . I missed seeing the Vatican because of their screw up If you want to see the Vatican , DO NOt Use this company !! Tickets sold out to Vatican so we are going home without seeing it
So we organised our schedule for the day very specifically around the time we booked. They decided the day before to tell me that I now had to come 2 hours and 45 mins before I was booked for. Booking things can be essential in Rome as it makes seeing a lot more in a small time doable. Unfortunately the itinerary for the day became difficult to achieve. The positives - I booked a queue skip after it was sold out from other areas. Downside to the queue skip, they book in groups so me and my finance although individuals had to wait in the line with all the guided tours. The singles queue was nearly empty. Im sure there are plenty of good things this company can do, however using them was a sour experience. The Vatican museums were stunning though. Slightly frustrating that paying for them still requires you then come out and queue for St Peter’s basilica. It is what is though. This review is negative of the provider however The Vatican and Rome in whole are spectacular.
Amazing place So much to see Don't miss the carriages part More fantasict things to see before you enter the listing chapel
Good to look at but I don’t believe in that sort of thing. By all means book your ticket beforehand but don’t get skip the line because you still queue and don’t get a guided tour as it’s too long.
Sistine Chapel: take time, don't feel rushed through, treat it as a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. It is!!
I have been before but it’s sad to say that this time my experience was not a positive one. It was so busy we were being ushered through and I bale to stop and look and take things in. Far too many people and tours. Could see or read and or learn anything. Money making at its best. Too many people allowed in spiking the whole thing. Would not go back. Sadly it was my fighters first time and she didn’t get the full experience So disapppinted q
We took tour of Vatican museums, Sistine Chapel and Saint Peter Basilica with Tours about. Our guide Paolo was very knowledgeable and very passionate about the Vatican art and history.
Well worth getting skip the line makes it alot easier all round. Its fantastic once inside. Absolutely amazing.
Easiest way to get into the Vatican, perfect for a small groups and you can get the audio guide from the Vatican.
as was the rest of Rome, it was amazing...we had a skip the line ticket and we were walked over to the site by a very nice guide and then we toured on our own...worth the price
We enjoyed seeing the Sistine Chapel but found the museum boring after a little while, it’s just so big. The tickets from Viator are probably a little overpriced for what you get but you don’t have to line up so that’s the bonus I guess.
Great service Promptly ‘ delivered ‘ to Vaticani Museo Highly recommended! Thank you for saving me a lot of time
Not sure how much it was with to skip the lines, except that it can cut down the waiting time to go in. We got our passes at the office, then one of the workers took us to the entrance several blocks away. They went so fast and didn’t notice if any of the group members were with them or not. It would have been better for them to ask if anyone had walking difficulties before just taking off.
Very confused by this experience. We paid almost $50 for a €17 euro ticket. Just go to the ticket office and buy it yourself. Ridiculous. Waste of money and time. There was no line to skip.
Overall a nice time at the Vatican. There are a few reasons for a three star rating. The first is the voucher can only be redeemed at the office of the tour company. You cannot get the tickets and then go in yourself. Secondly, there is not great communication on where you can go with the ticket. They just keep trying to upsell on paying for a guided tour. The last was the crowd. I came in off season and it was too crowded and the parts of the Vatican we did see did not seem worth the crowd.
very smooth riding from ticket office to the vatican, guides at the office were very helpful and gave us advice on how to go about it
Tickets for the Vatican Museum can be purchased directly for much cheaper if you get in early. We were stuck with ‘skip the line’ options because we didn’t book ahead. I had to hunt around in back streets to find the outlet, they took our money and then walked us straight back to the Museum entrance. Somehow they got the entrance tickets from the ticket office that we couldn’t get and handed them out. No additional service but twice the price. Turns out there was no line to skip on the day we went, just dodgy ticket reselling. Also don’t forget it’s free to get into St Peter’s.
Tickets never showed up even after 2 emails asking where the tickets were. Credit card charged for tickets that did not arrive.
We did not do a tour… just skip the line. 🙂 had my brother with me providing the tour. If not a guide would have been helpful.
Great experience getting into the Vatican and doing the Vatican audio tour at our own pace. Highly recommend doing it this way or downloading Rick Steves Vatican tour.
Everything was good except for the directions to the ticket collection office…had to go in circles to find it!!
Skip the line is worth the money. Just do it. You'll be glad you did. The crowds even in an off season are unbelievable.
Obviously seeing the Vatican Museums and the Sistine Chapel was amazing and breathtaking. But what made this worth the money was that we didn't wait in any lines the whole day. It was very windy and cold, so being able to walk right in to the places was very great!
We upgraded to the guided tour with Marco. He was a fantastic guide. He made our experiences very memorable.
Unable to find tour agency’s office. Seems they had problems of some sort in their office. Total chaos and very stressful. I ended up paying another 30 euros to join a guided tour
