Shared Shuttle From Rome City To Civitavecchia Port

The driver was at our hotel at the time requested. We were his first stop and he had to pickup one other group. The ride from Rome to the cruise terminal took us approximately an hour and 20 minutes. Cost was reasonable and service was reliable. I would use them again.

We were asked to be ready to be picked up 15 minutes early. Great we were waiting outside the hotel. Driver showed up 15 minutes later than our original schedule time. Very disappointed

The day of our transfer, many of the streets in Rome were blocked off for the Rome half marathon. Despite having to try several routes out of the city before finding a way around the blockades, our driver got us to the cruise port safely and on time. He was very calm and professional throughout the trip. The company was also great about notifying us of potential delays in advance too. I would recommend this service again!

I like the comfort of having my luggage being handled, picked up at my location and dropped in front of the port. The train is a cheaper route plus you're dealing with crowds plus a walking distance where one would have to go into the streets.

Our driver was on time and efficient at getting us to the port. However the reservation was for 12:30pm. The confirmation stated 12:30pm and the ticket stated 12:30pm. Yet the company changed our time late the prior day causing us to cut short our plans for the morning and essentially losing money. When I questioned this, the person stated it was a shared shuttle. OK - but we had a party of 6. The party of 2 could have changed their time of pick-up. Also, we learned when checking into our hotel the day before that the hotel offered a service that was over $100 less expensive than this service. So, was this service effective for the intended need? Yes. But be aware there are less expensive options and be aware that they will change your pick-up time last minute and be unsympathetic to the impact on your plans - which you made based on every communication up to that moment.

Carlos is a great driver and was in a comfortable vehicle. Couldn't drive van to front of the hotel due to narrow street but he came into the hotel lobby and helped us take our luggage to the van.

We made a couple of stops to pick up a few more people, but there were only six of us total, which was so much nicer than a huge bus load. We go to the port in plenty of time. Our driver was awful! He nearly hit 4 pedestrians at different times and slammed on the breaks so hard we all nealry fell out of our seats. He then nealry ran over a toll gate and missed it by inches. Would not recommend this travel company or driver!!!

Our driver was excellent, he was there early, by almost 20 minutes, but walked in to our hotel to find us. We talked a lot with the other passengers on our drive, but we got there safely and early! After our port transfer was canceled by our cruise line, this was an easy and smooth process from start to finish. I would recommend this transfer to anyone needing a ride around!

Excellent service. Picked up outside our hotel and dropped off outside the port embarkation terminal. No hassle. No struggling with luggage through the streets of a very hot and very busy Rome. My advice would be to check your pick up details with the company the evening prior to pickup, as the info received from Viator differed. The activity provider sent us a message a day before and assured us that ride has been arranged and that there might be some delays due to the public holiday since streets were closed. The pick up on the day was smooth and we had no problems! Though it was a bit pricey, it was well worth it for the convenience! This is a shared shuttle so we were with out customers but our luggage fit in their van and the ride was comfortable! They dropped us off in front of our cruise ship.
