Semi Private Golf Cart Tour Must See Highlights In Comfort

We got to see so much in only 3 hours. We did a few more stops that weren't in the tour as we were driving past. Our guide and driver were in formative and helpful. It made seeing a lot of the city very co.fortsble due to the hot weather. Highly recommend.

Highly recommend starting a visit to Rome with the golf cart tour. It’s a great way to get a quick overview of a lot of great attractions and places to see. It was a hot couple days and was very comfortable way to see the sites. Our guide was Eugenio, very friendly, knowledgeable and he made a few great recommendations on local restaurants as well!

Our driver was very knowledgeable and helpful He knew all the history and in spite of the fact that we could do the expected tour because of the bicycle event he managed to give us some tour experience.

Andre was a great guide and this was the perfect way to get a quick overview of the city. We loved the ability to hop off and on the golf cart at the various spots, and Andre showed us a few cool places - one where we could grab a beer and another where we tried Roman suppli. It was a great first night in Rome!

The best way to experience all the sites in a short amount of time. We booked a private tour, which gave us the option to change the itinerary as needed--listen to the tour guides advice about where to go. The tour guides were great. Highly recommend.

We did a private tour, just my mom and me. Our guide Eugene was fantastic, shared his deep knowledge of history and love of art during the tour. Appreciate his enthusiasm and willingness to make some adjustments bc of Mom's slower mobility. Was very accommodating, and excellent photographer for us, he suggested great places and angles and took pictures for us too. Could not have asked for a better guide. My mom was appreciative of him and he definitely made her first time in Italy so memorable!

We enjoyed our tour, but only 2 of the 6 of us could hear what our guide was sharing about the places we were driving by on our tour. The golf cart is a great way to cover a lot of ground and acquaint yourself with some of Rome’s highlights, but a voice amplifier or head set would have gone a long way to taking this tour from a great ride to an outstanding learning experience. It was a 3 hour tour, and there were no bathroom breaks scheduled or arranged for us. This was the only tour we experienced this oversight, and even when we asked we were not provided an option. That was disappointing but thankfully no one had an accident. We really appreciated the guide’s willingness to be flexible and adjust the tour to drop us off near the colosseum where our next tour began. This was amazing and so appreciated!

Paqui and Estrella are an amazing team! Both were personable and Paqui is very knowledgeable. We saw so many sights: Campo Di Fiori, the Parthenon, Church of St. Ignatius Loyola, Column of Marcus Aurelius, the Trevi Fountain, the Spanish Steps, the Colosseum, and we finished at the Basilica Di Santa Maria and the panoramic view of Rome from the Garden of Oranges. An unforgettable Sunday afternoon.

This tour was quite expensive and described as having an English speaking guide who would share history and other information about the sites toured. Our guide was a lovely man, very nice and really tried to share information but his English was not good and we had a great deal of trouble understanding him. Also, this tour should feature earphones for each participant since it is impossible to hear the guide over the noise of traffic. All-in-all, it was not worth the cost and we did not get much out of it.

We set up a tour for spanish and they thought it was an accident (we booked two tours one in english and one in spanish b/c our group was mixed). It was really disappointing that they got the languages wrong. We also only had one guide for the 3 carts which was not enough. The drivers added some color commentary, but this was mostly just a golf cart ride around Rome. We didn't get much at all as far as the information about the city b/c the one guide was managing too many people and in 2 languages. Really disappointing for the price actually.

Not knowing what to expect, we were very pleasantly surprised and impressed by our Golf Cart tour taken our first night in Italy. After reading recommendations to book a late afternoon/evening tour to help stay awake following a red eye from the US, it was the first tour we booked for our 12 day trip. Our tour guide Pacqui was phenomenal! She was very knowledgeable about the history of Rome but had such an upbeat and fun personality to complement her narration. Highly highly recommend this your. Our driver Stella was equally fun, and did an excellent job driving in the hectic traffic. Thanks for the best experience ever!

Romeo and I believe his partner “Tom” who was in training were our guides. Romeo was extremely knowledgeable and made it the activity so much fun. We would take any tour that had Romeo as a guide. Absolutely loved Romeo. We would rate Romeo a 10 out of 10!

We took the golf cart tour our first day in Rome and this was the perfect way to start the trip. We had the best time!

Terrible! Our tour was cancelled. We were told they were overbooked. We found this out as we were waiting at our pick up location. We were told that they were forced to ask us to change our date. This was not possible as we were coming from our cruise and only in Rome for the day. We were forced to take rome by foot and fogure things out on our own. Still waiting to hear if we will ne refunded. Reading through the reviews, I see there are others with similar experiences. I don’t understand why Viator would continue to do business with this company.

This was a very nice way to start out tour of Rome. Our driver took us to all the highlights and a few areas we wouldn’t have seen. We were given plenty of time to get out and take pictures at each location.

Having Mario as your guide is like having a good friend that lives in Rome. He knows the locals, and the locals know him. He is very knowledgeable and thoughtful, discussing not just the basics of the sites, but the deeper meaning and historical context. We went on many tours while crossing Europe - Mario was the best.

This tour was fantastic! Eugene did an amazing job taking us to all of the key spots in Rome and explaining the history behind each location. He went with us into churches and showed us things we may have missed without his expertise. Definitely would recommend this tour to friends - and would hope they are lucky enough to get Eugene as the guide!

The tour guide never turned up at the pick up site. Didn’t answer our messages or phone calls- we thought we had been scammed. Dreadful first introduction to Rome. Appreciated the email from Viator offering a refund.

Alex was our guide and he was amazing and so much fun. He booked a 4:30 tour and we were the only ones on the golf cart. We enjoyed going from one side of Rome to other and he even stopped at a local spot for the best soupli in Rome. His knowledge was vast and thorough but not boring. We had amazing stops that provided gorgeous views. Highly recommend.

Eugene picked us up and took us on one of the best tours we have ever done. He took us all over inner Rome tailoring things to suit us, but most of all he had an incredible knowledge and passion for the architecture, art and history that made it extra special. As it was also a very hot day we appreciated being driven all over town and just having to get out and walk around the sites. Fantastico!

Our tour guide showed up 20 minutes late and ended the tour 20 minutes early. We scheduled this tour on the day we landed so it was stressful not knowing what was going on while we waited at the designated spot for the arrival of our guide. Booked through trip advisor so there is no accountability. Tour cost ~$600 for family of 4. No time for gelato or an espresso as they advertise …. Just a mad rush so they can get to their next tour in time. I recommend booking directly through a vendors website not trip advisor.

Seeing Rome by golf cart was amazing! Eugenio was an AWESOME guide - friendly, extremely knowledgable, and patient answering many questions from our 8 year old. We loved seeing & learning about the Vatican, Pantheon, & Trevi Fountains. We learned so much & enjoyed the whole day. Thank you thank you thank you!

The tour operator never showed up and Viator was not helpful at all. They need to do a better job making sure their guides are reliable

I cannot say enough about this tour! Traveling with my senior citizen in-laws and 9 year old son. This tour allowed us to see so many places and not get exhausted. Our tour guide Eugenio was very knowledgeable. He spoke perfect English. Answered all of our questions. He made sure we were all buckled in before he started moving the golf cart. He went above and beyond and helped me in the pharmacy to speak with the pharmacist about my son’s cough. Before the tour started he asked us the places we had already visited and made sure we got the most out of our time with him. The restaurant he recommended to stop by at the end of the tour was the best meal we had in Rome!

Alex was a wonderful guide to Rome. It was a first time in Rome, but we only had a day there. This tour was the perfect way to see all of Rome in a short amount of time. He was very knowledgeable about the history of Rome. His book he brought really helped you understand what the historic sites looked like back in the day. It was very interesting and informative. If you are undecided about taking this tour, I highly recommend you take it. What an incredible adventure!

Vittorio was the best tour guide ever! He was so knowledgeable, friendly and interesting. He really made our three hour golf tour perfect. We saw all of the iconic tourist spots with a complete history and interesting stories. But more than that, we saw places that we would’ve never known existed on our own. We saw the most beautiful Basilica I’ve ever seen in my life! The vantage point over the city were the perfect photo opportunities. We got more out of this three hour tour than we would have spending a week on our own! It was perfect! Thank you Vittorio for a wonderful morning!

Would highly recommend this golf buggy tour of Rome , our guide Eugene was amazing , very knowledgeable and we got to see all the sights in Rome in a matter of hours. He was also very accommodating in making our day extra special as we got engaged during the trip, standing in as a camera man for our special moment !

This tour is one of the best experiences I’ve had as a tourist and for a very good price. It is cheaper than the competition, it hits all the cool sights efficiently in about 3 hours and the tour company is top notch. They went above and beyond to accommodate our needs - we changed the tour date last minute due to illness and the company accepted the change even though they could’ve asked me to pay again for a new reservation. Our tour guide, Edoardo was super nice and knowledgeable and manoeuvred the golf cart around small streets to all the best sights in a short time. He adapted the tour to show us what we did not yet see and added a few lesser known and cool areas. Don’t hesitate, book this tour, it is a great experience!
