Everything about this tour was FANTASTIC!!!! Please come hungry as you eat full size portions the entire time and it is so worth the price. Best true hidden food places in Italy. Not to mention how great of a guide Silvia is. She knew her stuff and had the best, relaxed, and fun persona!

The wine tasting and food pairing was so much fun and so informative. Our guide, Freya was terrific and the Essenza Wine Bar was great. It’s a sweet little wine bar in Trastevere.

This was a great way to end our time in Rome! We enjoyed the food and wine! Marta did a great job teaching us about the history, food and culture. The pacing of the courses was perfect! She was delightful and would highly recommend! We’ll definitely add food tours as a must do in future trips!

My daughter & I had the most lovely evening sharing the table with two couples. A fun evening in lively Trastevere! Tone was amazing and very engaging as she introduced us to the wines and produce - very educational and an excellent communicator! We really enjoyed and would highly recommend. We really enjoyed your wine tasting experience and would say that Trastevere is definitely a place worth the visit when going to Rome ! Beautiful authentic experience. Freya was our guide and she was great, good energy, explaining the wine the food pairing and history! I really enjoyed the balsamic and the cheeses. We got a great size pour of wine as well, first time trying red wine for me and it was beautiful! And the gelato at the end of the tour was the cherry on top. I went with my family and we booked it as part of my dads birthday present, it was definitely a treat and would recommend for anyone visiting Trastevere! Thank you all🥰

Great guiding from Vincenzo, and an excellent selection of authentic experiences in Trastevere! After booking we were messaged to confirm the details, and the team were great about making adjustments for my pregnant wife, ensuring we felt safe about all the ingredients throughout. Good balance in volume of food and drink with the pace of the tour, with Vincenzo always making sure our glasses never remained empty for long. Stories and fun facts gave the whole tour an extra dimension, accompanying great food and drinks from the various restaurants and the final gelateria.

The experience was so delightful and Vincenzo or “vinny” as we liked to call him did a superb job and exceeded our expectations. He was full of energy and delightful and knowledgeable about everything too. He did tell us he’s in the planning to open up his restaurant in 2028 which I hope to come back and experience it all. The food was delicious, the wine kept flowing, and the experience of trying different foods and learning about the food/wine and regions they came from was so enjoyable. Sylvia did an exceptional job sharing knowledge and making each person feel valued and included in the experience, even my younger daughter. This tour made us want to do a food tour every city we go to, even back home. I will do this tour again if I visit Rome again.

An absolute highlight of our family trip in Rome! Vincenzo, our guide, was outstanding - knowledgeable, patient, engaging, funny…. Included everyone from the 75 year old patriarch to the 10 year old grandchild with equal respect. Stops were well chosen for interesting history and good food and wine. Great value and great fun!

Fran was a very sweet and knowledgeable guide. This is a shorter tour than some others, with very minimal walking (which was appreciated by my aching feet and back after a long day of walking throughout the city). The majority of the tour is held within a private room of a wine bar, where you taste a variety of foods and wines from throughout Italy. Then you walk to an excellent gelato shop to end the experience.

We attended a tour on the 12th February and had the pleasure of Marta being our guide. She is very knowledgeable about wines, we had a great experience. Brilliant drinks and food, however the stand out is the host, very kind and friendly, and great restaurant recommendations!

Done this tour, only 4 of us on it, me and my wife and a lovely American father and daughter. Lead by Vivien, she had an unbelievable amount of knowledge of all the wines and foods, she’s an absolute genius. Probably one of the best tours we’ve done, would highly recommend it.
