There is so much history packed into these halls, and Michelangelo’s work in the chapel is surreal. The timed entry entry was simple and straightforward. It gave us more time to explore without wasting energy in lines.

Very straightforward and easy. No hidden issues—we got in quickly and had plenty of time to explore the amazing galleries and the chapel. It’s an unforgettable place, and booking ahead made the day so much easier.
Every corner had something fascinating, from tapestries to sculptures and paintings. Honestly, one of the most memorable parts of our trip to Italy.
Booking this ticket saved us from standing in the sun for hours—huge plus! You don’t realize how massive the museums are until you’re inside—there’s so much to see!
DONT GO THERE! totally overcrowded. To many people! You're packed in like sardines. Museum is overrated. And the Sistine chapel has no spirituality because you are surrounded by more than 400 smelling and sweating people which are already more than one hour’s walking side by side through the museum. I think McKinsey was advising the Pope/Vatikan here just to make fast money. Michelangelo would kill himself when he could see that result
Totally worth it for the convenience alone. The queues outside were insanely long, and we just walked right past them.Every room had something unique to offer.
We were so excited for this excursion that we booked it months ago to make sure we got to see The Vatican. The day of the excursion we get to the meeting location only to be told the excursion has been cancelled by the operator and that we “should’ve gotten an email.” We didn’t, and neither did the 15+ angry people who showed up too. When I asked the guide why, he said it was because their license to operate the tour inside The Vatican had not been renewed yet. Ridiculous and very unprofessional.
Be warned! Don't book with this company. I was messaged a few days prior to coming if I could come a bit earlier than the alloted time due to high demand - fine not a problem I thought. Well I turn up at meeting point to be told our tickets had been cancelled and that we were informed by email 2 days ago!? Well there were about 20 others stood there who had had no information about it being cancelled whatsoever. The excuse from the so called "rep" said the Vatican had stopped partnership with them or something? Shambles of a company. Ruined a big part of our trip.
If you hate waiting, this ticket is a must. It saved us at least 2 hours! The organization was impressive. Clear signs, helpful staff, and a very smooth flow despite the number of visitors.
The Vatican Museums are extraordinary. The guides were helpful but were late arriving to the meeting point and did not identify themselves. Had to ask who they were
Fantastic guide, very knowledgeable and just made the visit worthwhile! Would recommend this trip to anyone!
This is the biggest scam ever!!! So you never actually have a ticket even though you have paid and booked the time. You meet a guide with other people and they walk you to the line to wait to enter the tickets, the line will be a minimum of 2 hours (They will say 40mins). Look for the yellow sign where it shows you are waiting in the line with everyone else who doesn't have a ticket. The guide will stand with you and then go and buy the ticket for you which there is nothing stopping you from buying yourself. We had another couple behind us who had just entered the line and told us that you can just enter on your own you do not need a guide so they are profiting off you for something you can do yourself. The guides are very nice and very friendly but I would be when someone is paying me for doing nothing. Only buy the tickets from the Vatican itself as they are much cheaper and if you haven't then just get to the line early in the morning and you will get in. Maybe consider why the times for this tour are always late in the evening is because they will go when there will be less people because the museums shut not long after so you are basically going in for a very short time and getting profited from. It is honestly so bad and I really can't understand how this has good reviews. I don't normally write reviews because everyone has there own opinions so I let people experience for themselves but for this I couldn't let people kill hours of their time away especially when it might be a city break and every moment for things like this is crucial.
Checking in was simple. The galleries before the Chapel are full of masterpieces, and then you step into the Sistine Chapel. The colors, the figures, the scale, it’s way more impressive in person.
The museum is amazing — so many rooms and works to see. But the real wow moment is the Sistine Chapel. Standing there looking at the ceiling, it feels like you’re in another world.
Arrived on time and the check-in was fast. The galleries before the Chapel are filled with paintings, sculptures, and maps, all super interesting. Then you reach the Sistine Chapel… wow, the detail and colors hit you instantly.
We arrived at our time and entered quickly. The route is clear, and the rooms before the Chapel are interesting. Seeing the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel is unforgettable.
The staff guided everyone clearly, and the visit was easy to manage. The museum has many rooms, and the Sistine Chapel is a quiet, impressive space. Highly recommended!
Fatal, I hired two tickets which one was canceled a day earlier, it was to see the coliseum and the other for the Vatican and after two hours of queuing we are told that it has closed and we cannot enter, so I have not seen both things that I wanted to see, I do not trust Viator again.
Attention guys, this is a SCAM. The booked service consists (besides the entrance ticket for 20€) of the organizer lining up with you and then buying the ticket. We paid about 75€ for two, but there were also some who paid 120€ via getyourguide. Why Scam? The Vatican website does not clearly indicate that there is also a box office. Here you queue for about half an hour at 5pm and then buy the ticket for 20€. That's exactly what happens with this scam, but much more expensive: You buy a “voucher” and then you are supposed to come to a meeting point nearby where the voucher is “redeemed” into a ticket. You know. People will then just queue with you as described. I confronted the organisers about it and they said that was my problem if I booked them. By the way, the support phone number is Lebanese. So: Just line up yourself from 5pm. Before, the line is much longer
