Booked this ride on short notice from the port to Roma city center. Our driver was communicative, on time and helped us with your luggage. The vehicle was clean and comfortable. Complimentary WiFi and water were also offered en route, which was a nice touch. 10/10 would recommend!
A wise choice to get to Civitavecchia port if you’re traveling as a group. So convenient and pleasant. Mario was right on time for our pick up. We had 10 pieces of luggage, 6 passengers in his spacious Mercedes Benz van. He was friendly and welcoming. He pointed out some interesting spots as we drove off from Rome to Civitavecchia Port which I thought was a bonus. Grazie Mario for driving us safely to the port.
This is the second driver we used on our European trip with this company. The driver was on time and met us at the end of our cruise. I thought he drove kind of fast, but it might just be me. Overall, I’m impressed with this company. They will send updates and a lot of reminders for your trip. Will continue to use this company for future travel.
Rolando met us just outside the port exit - a perfect pickup point. His assistance with our luggage (six suitcases) was greatly appreciated, and the journey to the hotel door was made more comfortable by the provision of cold water. In the afternoon Rolando took us on a five-hour tour of the city, which was just what we needed as it minimised the need to walk. We saw sights that we would never have seen on any of the regular tours, and for four us, I considered it great value for money at €350. I cannot fault the service provided by Rolando and I would recommend him to anyone needing to be picked up at the port and/or taken on a tour of the wonderful city of Rome.

I booked and paid for this transportation months before my travel date (I think 6 + months before). I confirmed with them the pick up location and time multiple times because no where on the ticket does it state the time (even though I provided it) messaging the help did confirm the pick up time but as the day got closer (I got nervous because I wasn’t receiving a reminder and confirmation as I had on all my previous transfers with other companies). I then got a message via email asking for pick up time and pickup location which had been provided again multiple times and confirmed with their company) I received additional emails throughout the day to contact them and I returned their emails with response then I reached out to the Viator support and they contacted the company for me and confirmed my pick up time and address for to next day. A few hours later 1130 at night the company messaged me asking to contact them again with the WhatsApp. I attempted to contact them but never received a response. The morning of pickup they messaged me and told me they had to cancel my shuttle (what??? I confirmed less then 12 hours earlier). I needed a ride to the port (1.5 hour transfer from Rome to the cruise port). One stressor became realty. Very poor company communication! Very poor. I gave this company a 2 star because they refunded my money at least immediately and then “found” another driver to pick us up and transfer us to the port But I again had to pay for this transfer. The driver from the alternate company did show up on time but spoke very little English, was driving an older beat up merecedes class vehicle with Uber written on the side. He was wearing Jammie pants and an oversized t-shirt. I’m surprised we made it to the port alive. Multiple times he slammed on the brakes and had to swerve to avoid other vehicles. And multiple times we had to pick up our belongings off the floor after they went flying. Suitcases also hit the back of the chairs and windows. This was not my style of “Luxury transportation”

Communication was extremely poor. Tried multiple times to change pick up time, never got confirmed. Day of trip we had no clue if we were getting picked up, called and was told their system was down, someone hung up on me, called again still could not confirm we were being picked up. Requested refund As we were booking an uber the driver finally arrived, he was very nice and professional. When we were in the car got a call about why we requested a refund, they didnt have any problem reaching out once they had to refund. Never again to trip advisor!
Driver was great the van clean and new. We had to contact the provider when they didn't show up as we exited the cruise ship and waited about 30 mins. We contacted them and they were on site in about 30 mins more so no issue. He explained that TripAdvisor is sending them the bookings in the wrong order so they didnt see ours that had been booked about 90 days ago.
Wow! This was definitely the way to go. With so many people getting off the cruise ship, it was reassuring to know that we had a ride. The pick up was quick and easy and we were on our way.
Our cruise pickup driver back to Rome was outstanding! He was highly responsive, always communicating clearly about pickup times and locations. His punctuality and friendly demeanor made transfers seamless and stress-free. Highly recommend!

The driver arrived close to on time and got us to our ship ahead of schedule. The driver was talkative and entertaining. I learned more about Italy on an hour ride than from all my paid guides combined. I would book with the same driver. The most important thing I learned was that while any taxi or limo can take you to the port, they don't all have access. You might have to walk the last half mile if you take any ride available in Rome.

The van didn’t come at all! I called TripAdvisor and was told to call the operator. Per the operator, he was notified last minute and there’s no availability. He said TripAdvisor booked the transfer without confirmation from the them, so I really don’t know whose fault it is. We ended up getting another ride after waiting for an hour and spent more. This would happen a lot of times when it’s confirmed with Viator or TripAdvisor but the service provider/operator would cancel at the time of service. Viator/TripAdvisor should look into this issue. Travellers book the tour through them because we trust and rely on them. Yes they are just coordinators but they should make sure that their customers/travellers are in good hands and get their money’s worth.
Do not use this company. Easier to just get a taxi outside. Had the transfer booked and they charged me as they said two days before departure. When I get to the port, I finally see that there is a message on TripAdvisor. They tried to text me while I was on a boat and I could not get their text. Their excuse for not showing up was that I couldn’t text them back. I don’t get the Wi-Fi package. So they left us hanging at the port. They did refund me, but they called me to try to help and then argued with me that I didn’t send a message back. As I told them I don’t have Wi-Fi. If they would’ve sent me a message earlier in the day, I could have responded. Bottom line. Why would I let him charge me for something if I wasn’t on the boat and wasn’t going to use it. Very dirty.
Our driver communicated well. He gave the option of an earlier pick up since he was in the area early. He pointed out some of the significant sights along our route. He was pleasant & his driving was excellent.
Driver was very "annoyed " we had booked thru Viator.. complained repeatedly that we should have booked direct. Was equally upset we had 2 wheelchairs, even though we had clearly indicated this in our booking..Made the ship but mostly an average experience
We disembarked from a transatlantic cruise ready to explore Rome for a few days. The driver notified me the day before of a pickup time and indeed he was right on time. We had two large suitcases and a small one that fit snugly in the Mercedes sedan (we had ordered a van thinking that we would need the space but happily the sedan worked well. The drive in to Rome was comfortable and safe. The driver provided bottled water and mints and also wet wipes which were really handy. Enjoyed the experience and would use this company again.
Driver arrived 15 minutes early and changed the pick up spot to our front door. We made it to the port in great time.

Rolando was great! He responded very quickly via WhatsApp once we arrived. He accommodated us by taking us to the destination we booked even though Viator did not send him our booking. I am extremely unhappy. We had a 1pm pick up at the hotel. By 1:15 I messaged the company asking what the ETA was. The response I got was unacceptable. I was told unfortunately because of traffic the driver would not be there in time to take to the port in time. So they cancelled the reservation and refunded us and told us to ask the hotel to help us find a ride. Totally unacceptable since I booked this months ago. Fortunately I was able to find a ride on my own for less money. I do not recommend you use this service.

The driver was late, didn’t greet us or make any conversation at all and I’m sure he did a drug deal with another driver right in front of us.

Charge $300 never returned email, then told us we should take a taxi then told us we had to share a ride. When we told them we wanted to be charged half since they were two customers in vehicle they filed with us and returned us to the taxi station. I will make sure my 2 million followers hear about this.
