The Pantheon was amazing. The ticket pick-up was efficient, and our guide, Adrian, was very knowledgeable and friendly.
Great communication before, easy to meet for pickup, and super easy to find and get through skip the line. Sooo much better than the longer queue to buy tickets. Highly recommend!
Interesting tour although we did not receive the audio guide and didn’t get the express entrance for the coliseum and forum.
It took a bit to find the representative to collect the ticket. Entry was quick and easy. The site is spectacular, but I didn’t find the downloaded audio guide all that great. Took multiple tries to download ahead of visit and just wasn’t overly informative.
It was it bad experience. The tour person arrive 10 minutes latter, passing the entry time to The Parthenon. I will no recommend this tour company. Viator should be carefully promoting this company.
Self guided good value for the money. Wasn’t much of a skip the line though. Pantheon works fine for this type of self guided tour.
Glad we booked our voucher ahead of time. We were able to walk right in once we exchanged the voucher for our tickets. The only issue was finding the person to exchange the voucher. They need a bigger, more noticeable flag to stand out in the crowd. I only noticed her because I saw other people crowded around her.
So I messed up and didn’t download the app for the audio portion I thought we would get earphones and transmitter, so we could only go inside and look around and take pictures. Don’t make that mistake. Also the person you check in with with get a QR code was sitting down in front of a store and hard to find.
We got in quickly but did not get an audio guide. We were handed our tickets but had to return to exchange them because they were correct. The person who let us in told us to get the audio equipment inside. There was only one stand with audio guides; our tour vendor was not part of it.
The fast track was the way to go, however, the audio portion did not download correctly. We ended up renting ones inside but part of it was my fault. I would just make sure you are prepared with the download. Overall great experience.
Our amazing tour guide Rossi (I’m sorry, I didn’t see the spelling of her name) gave us an incredible tour. She knows her history & how to share it in an interesting way with a sense of humor. She was kind & patient & eager to make sure we were all comfortable. There were only 11 people total on the tour. We walked part of the Roman Forum & the Coliseum. The city is not allowing the underground part of the tour right now which was disappointing, but not the tour company’s fault.
I bought this tour mainly for the audioguide. But the audioguide wasn't worth it. I should have purchased the audioguide through the pantheon. BUt the fast track portion was well worth it. I literally just walked right in, no waiting.
The pantheon itself is wonderful. The staff that was present to give me the ticket in exchange for my voucher was very helpful. And of course, it was good to be able to get my tickets so easily, as getting it from the place itself, you have to go to another location first. And I could not get the Internet to work to allow me to do that from the United States. However, the self guided audio tour is pretty much worthless. It only lasts two or three minutes and provide almost no information. As opposed to the free one on Rick Steves free app, which lasts almost half an hour and has great information. So there was good and not so good.
Impressive once inside, but the initial arranging at the meeting point was not so reassuring. Having arrived while there was a very short queue, it was discouraging to watch the line grow so long, only to exchange an electronic voucher for a paper one and the fimd ourselves at the end of a much longer queue. Little were we to know that this did not matter quite so much in the end. Does not really make sense to deal with things this way. The inside is lovely and worth the effort in the end.
Tickets are overpriced. 19,50 € for one adult and one child. Directly at the Pantheon the entrance fee for an adult is 5€, children are free. In the afternoon there was not a long queue, so had saved us 15€. Disappointing! In addition, tickets would only be sent after renewed demand.
I had booked this tour from home in advance that all went fine and fast. We had to be at an agreed place fifteen minutes before the start. And so were we. But no guide in sight. It was very hot that day. After waiting there for almost fifteen minutes I went looking and saw someone sitting in the shade to whom I wanted to ask how or what. When I got to the person I saw that he had the flag of LovingRome with him. But not very visible. Very indifferently this young man said.... Well it was so hot I sat down in the shade. Who must have enjoyed watching the spectacle of us, busy looking around and suffering in the hot sun looking for the flag of LovingRome 🧐😅. Anyway, not really customer friendly. We might as well have joined the queue to buy a ticket (which is cheaper there). So not recommended in our case.
Pantheon is worth a visit, but it is better to buy a ticket on site for 5 euros or go early because of the queue. The visit doesn't last long. At Santa Maria del Concezione you do not have to reserve tickets in advance. 10 euros on site and no queue, definitely worth going. I would reserve a ticket for the Colosseum in advance, in combination with the Roman Forum, otherwise there would be a long queue.
The ticket was sent immediately to the email address provided after booking. The office was easy to find and a member of staff was there straight away and very helpful. There were no complications with the tickets and we were even able to get in 1 hour early. The audio guide was easy to use and provided good information. Overall, we were very happy with how it went.
