Attending the Papal Audience was hands-down one of the most spiritual and inspiring moments of our trip to Rome. Seeing the Pope in person, surrounded by thousands of pilgrims from every corner of the world, creates an atmosphere of unity and joy that is truly hard to put into words. The event was extremely well-organized. Even with large crowds, the energy was peaceful, welcoming, and celebratory. Hearing the blessings in multiple languages and witnessing the Pope greet families and children throughout St. Peter's Square made the morning feel deeply personal and heartfelt.

We got clear update to exact meeting point. Good communication via WhatsApp. Guide was very knowledgeable and easy to talk to and answer questions. He also took pictures of us with our camera when we asked. He timed the arrival well, since we were first in the queue. We got the best seats as we were right up at the front. There was no espresso coffee to greet us, as was detailed in what's included, so maybe leave that out. I did ask if there was anywhere to get breakfast before we set off. I was informed I could get this after the event. In fact, there were a few places nearby where you could get breakfast. So maybe suggest nearby places for those who have no idea about this. We got the impression we would.be able to go directly into the basilica after the event using our tickets. Butafter waiting until then pope.left, were told we had to leave the venue. So that was disappointing. Overall a magnificent day and our guide made going inside super convenient by queueing the day before for 3 hours to get our tickets.
Everything was great, except this time the Popemobile didn't drive along my street 😏
Claudia was a great tour guide! Very nice, polite and very informative! She also got us great seats! Definitely worth the 6:30am arrival time!
The only glitch was the taxi dropped us off too far from the meet up point, and we couldn't find the meet up but Claudia reached out to me and she found us so all good! She was blocked and very informative too!
We were fortunate to have Claudia of Good Morning Italy as our guide for the Papal Audience. She was very knowledgeable and was very enthusiastic in her presentation. She connected well with her audience, and was very engaging. Glad we booked this tour! Thank you Claudia!
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Claudia was an absolutely amazing tour guide! From the very beginning, she was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable. She made the entire experience so enjoyable and did an incredible job explaining the history and stories behind everything we saw. You could really tell that Claudia loves what she does. She was patient, attentive, and made sure everyone in our group felt comfortable and included. She also had such a great personality and made the tour fun instead of it feeling like just another tour. We learned so much and got to experience everything in a way we definitely wouldn’t have been able to on our own. Claudia went above and beyond to make sure we had a great time, and she truly made our trip more memorable. I would 100% recommend Claudia to anyone looking for a tour guide. She was fantastic, and we are very grateful we got to have her as our guide! Thank you so much, Claudia! 🇮🇹❤️
Claudia was our guide, she was really clear and easy to understand. She went above and beyond to accomodate our disabled family member. And answered all our question. Geat experience!!
We had an amazing experience with our Vatican tour visits. Our tour guide Claudia is very knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate. We highly recommend this tour if you want to visit the Vatican City. Thank you for making our visits memorable and unforgettable!
We had a great experience with Claudia. She was friendly and super knowledgeable about our tour. Helpful and kind!
Claudia was amazing with her knowledge of Rome, the Vatican and papacy. She is friendly, accommodating and answered any and all questions. We skipped the long lines she definitely knew where to go and who to ask. Would recommend and do again!
Amazing experience enhanced by our lovely guide Claudia who was so knowledgable and full of useful information and advice. Guided us through to St Peter’s square to fabulous seats!
The guide, Claudia, was great and the experience was amazing!
Claudia was amazing and got seats right up close. Unfortunately the pope mobile didn't go by us but still memorable. Highly recommend Claudia!
We had an excellent experience. Our tour guide, Claudia, was very well organized, and all expectations were clearly communicated from the beginning. She was professional, friendly, and attentive, ensuring that everyone felt comfortable and informed throughout the tour. I highly recommend Claudia to anyone looking for an informative, enjoyable, and well-managed tour experience. Excellent job!!!
I cannot speak highly enough about Alishba! She is just a fabulous tour guide! Knowledgeable, kind, helpful. Couldn’t ask for more.
I do not recommend this experience with Claudia from Good Morning Italy Tours. She stopped our group twice to talk about things related to the Vatican while people rushed past us instead of focusing on securing good seats for the group. As a result, only I had the best seat while everyone else could see the Pope behind one or two other heads. Somebody please explain to her that the priority of this paid tour (we paid for a free experience to the public so we could get great seats) is to secure the best seats for everyone and once you have done that, while the group waits for the Pope to appear, then she can talk all she wants about the Vatican.
It was an amazing and emotional experience to be so physically close to Pope Leo. He has a very calming presence.
The tour with Good Morning Italy and Claudia was excellent! Claudia is so informative and knowledgeable and also guided us to excellent seats to see the Pope as he processed through the crowd. Well organized and highly recommended!
It is free to go to the papal audience, but having a guide helps you with tips on where to sit and what to expect. Well, the guide gave us a meeting time at 6:40am and she was late! Did not respond to any of our calls. So we took matters into on own hands and went in line as it was starting to be very busy! And the queue was getting long! She finally showed up and because she was late, we could no longer use the left entrance dedicated to the tours! I DEFINITELY would not spend the money for this! All the info our guide gave us (toilet location / pope’s route etc…) were wrong! I actually googled to find the route to the restrooms and I was actually able to stay longer as my other tour was JUST around the corner. The guide told us to leave at 10am and we left at 11:00 am at the end of the pope ‘s audience! She was absolutely USELESS! Now I have to argue for a refund, because the guide claims she provided service! Just because she thinks she provided a service doesn't meant I have to accept her worthless service!
Before you consider this one, think twice. I had tickets thinking I’d be able to skip the line and it would be worth the money. The meet point instructions were a joke…it named the Piazza but that was it! No indication of where in the Piazza or what type of banner they would be found holding….assuming they even had one. Crowds at the Papal Audience were huge…even at the 7am meet time! There were many tour companies scattered in the crowds and Itried to email the tour operator to find out where exactly they were at..finally heard back 2.5 hours later. No apology, no refund. We ended up just getting in line and found our own seats, which weren’t all that bad…probably as good or better than what they would get us. Don’t waste your money on what you can do easily yourself for FREE! I don’t see any advantages to pay for this ticket.
Amazing and unforgettable experience meeting Pope Leo.
Claudia was fantastic - very informative, friendly, and patient. Highly recommend skipping the cue with this tour.
If you want a good view of the pope, you are going to have to come early. Claudia was very informative. You'll be waiting a few hours, but it is worth it. The event is free to attend. You're paying for the information, the coffee, and knowing where to sit. If you wanna go for free and have great seats, show up at the front of the basilica at about 7. One thing I recommend for everyone is to bring snacks. You are going to be there for a while and have to wake up early.
We had an excellent guide Luisa with city wonders full of information excellent tour guide we were there really early. We were in the first row on the corner where Luisa knew that the pope would go in front of us twice. That was perfect. The pope also had two blessings one for married couples they had to get special approval to be on the stage to get blessed and the second is the audience. It was something to special.
Got to the top of the queue quite easily, it’s a must when visiting Rome
After I got a little further direction. Via quick responses on WhatsApp from the company, we found the meeting spot without issue. Our guide, Alishba, was AMAZING! She shared historical knowledge as well as anecdotes she has from her time as a guide. Alishba took great care of the large group and made sure everyone was happy and had a great time. She got us in the first couple of rows to see the Pope. Amazing! Thank you, ALISHBA!!!
We were escorted to our group and then taken to seating. This was well worth it. The only thing we didn't get were headsets but maybe there wouldn't have been enough time to make use of them.
Tremendous tour guide!!! Very knowledgeable and precise with information! It helped that he’s an archeologist and is very well versed in his explanations about ancient history! I feel terrible that I’ve forgotten his name, but I sure hope you’ll know which tour guide I’m talking about!!
Excellent tour, Judas is competent and my family had a lot of fun; even the children were captivated by the explanation. Highly recommended.
