It was so much fun. We learned a lot. I was worried it would be too hard with my kids but my 4 and 7 year old had such a great time! Riccardo, our chef/teacher, was very nice and very helpful!

Incredible experience that makes authentic pasta feel within reach. For all ages! Family of 5 with ages 6-10 enjoyed a small group pasta making experience with plenty of food, learning and conversation.
Lots of fun. Great to do with a group. Learned some new pasta cooking techniques. I would suggest putting a sign outside. A little hard to find.
It was such a fun and entertaining activity. The instructor had a sense of humor. He made everyone feel at ease. Would highly recommend this tour.
Low keyed small group class. We learned 3 basic pastas that were delicious. Giorgio has obviously been doing this for some time and could guide us through mistakes.
My husband and I have been planning our September 2026 trip since January. Taking an authentic pasta making class was a high priority. We booked the Pastamania class early on in our planning stage. Today was the day!! We left our hotel at 10 am planning to tour the Spanish Steps, Pantheon and Trevi Fountain prior to our 4 pm class. As you can see from the screen shots provided, I received a WhatsApp message at 11:47 that said our class was cancelled due to “ a technical issue”. We were offered spots in the 7 pm class. I messaged back at 12:56 stating that we would attend the 7 pm class. I expressed my disappointment as this required us to spend an additional 3 unplanned hours in 90+ degree heat. I received an automated response that the office was closed and would reopen at 3 pm and I would receive a response back. At 4:40 I sent another message asking if my original message saying that we would attend the 7pm class was received. I did not get a reply back from either message that I sent. At 7 pm, my husband and I arrived at the class and I showed my ticket. After a long delay involving calls to the company from the chef, I finally received a call stating since I had not messaged them back until 4:40, the spots had been all filled and we could not attend. To say that we were disappointed is an understatement. There is no time in our schedule to re-book a class.
The class was fantastic, the teacher was incredible. Made everyone feel apart of the class- it was factorial yet fun, highly recommend to people visiting Rome to take part
Georgiona was an amazing teacher, very patient and encouraging with learning pasta making. He made everyone feel inclusive. I will definitely share my experience with friends and family.
It was an amazing experience. The pasta making was unbelievable! A great class! All three of my adult sons loved it! Very organized.
The cooking class was well worth it!! So much fun and we cannot wait to make our own pasta. Olga was great!! We recommend.
Loved the class, The Chef was an amazing instructor. Very informative yet fun and engaging at the same time. Would recommend 10/10 times!
If you’re visiting Rome, I can’t recommend this pasta cooking class enough! From start to finish, everything exceeded our expectations. The booking process was incredibly easy, and for the price, you get an unbelievable value. Between the fresh pasta you make, the delicious food, drinks, snacks, and the overall experience, it felt like one of the best activities we did during our trip. Our instructor, Ricardo, was absolutely fantastic. He was personable, funny, patient, and made everyone feel welcome from the moment we arrived. His enthusiasm created such a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere that even people who had never cooked before felt comfortable jumping right in. The class is very hands-on, so you’re not just watching—you get to make the pasta yourself while learning techniques you can actually use at home. It was both educational and entertaining. One of the unexpected highlights was meeting people from all over the world. Everyone was friendly, and the class naturally encouraged conversation and laughter. If you’re traveling solo, this is an amazing way to meet other travelers in a fun, social setting. I attended with my partner, and we both agreed we’d do it all over again without hesitation. The location is another huge plus—it’s right in central Rome, making it easy to fit into your sightseeing plans. Overall, this class was the perfect mix of authentic Italian culture, incredible food, great company, and unforgettable memories. Whether you’re traveling solo, with friends, or as a couple, this is an experience you shouldn’t miss! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
My family and I really enjoyed the class. Giorgio was the chef, and we had a great time. I definitely recommend as an afternoon activity.
We had a great time with our teacher Noemi, as we learned how to make 3 different kinds of pasta. Noemi was kind, patient and gracious and she explained, in detail, the art of pasta making. She included a copy of the recipes at the end. Part of our group were celebrating birthdays, so Noemi brought out a delicious dessert for us to share. We could not have been more pleased.
This class was such an amazing experience. Olga was our chef and we loved the experience. It was so beginner-friendly and fun. Great amount of time and food was so good. Olga gave us great recommendations for Rome and we were so grateful. Definitely recommend for all!!!
Such a great family experience my 3 kids loved making pasta! Very interactive and now my children are interested in cooking!
Excellent and detailed instructions. Very patient and slow. I can actually go home and try making pasta. Loved getting the recipes.
The first experience was amazing and the staff was also amazing. They made us feel so comfortable and happy and everyone was so friendly and Nonna created an environment that felt like we were in her living room, she was so nice and she was lovingly showing and telling all her stories about how she learnt cooking. And finally we made amazing food that I will be making again so to anyone who is thinking of doing it DO IT and you will not be disappointed I promise !
It was a great experience. We learned how to make multiple types of pasta. The class was hands on and the instructor was very knowledgeable and friendly.
Fun interactive cooking class with Fabrizio! He was super attentive and knowledgeable and friendly. Great way meeting new people and learning all the tips and tricks to make pasta. Highly recommend for kids too.
You make the pasta and eat it too. We even got a tasty dessert Teacher was very helpful and fun. I do recommend this tour
Christian was super cute and it was a really nice experience to do with friends if you want to do different things in Rome that is not just turism, I recommend it a lot!!
Giorgio was a great teacher, very professional but also very funny, always joking. We had a great time . At the end we sat at the table together with friendly people we cooked and ate our production. We had wine, desert and Lemoncelo. We enjoyed every minute and warmly recommend this experience.
Fabrizio was a fabulous chef and instructor! He even made my lack of cooking skills look amazing! Highly recommend and it was a lot of fun
Amazing experience and super fun to do with family and friends! I was traveling solo but will do it again with my loved ones for sure! A great way to share meaningful and enriching moments together!
I had the opportunity to take a homemade pasta-making class in true Italian style in Rome. Our teacher was extremely skilled and very friendly, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. In addition to learning how to prepare fresh pasta, we were served wine, limoncello, which I particularly loved, and a delicious dessert. In their shop, they also had a selection of wines produced by the company itself, and I was happy to purchase some as a lovely reminder of the experience. Overall, it was a wonderful and authentic experience that I would definitely recommend.
Such a great experience very worth it! A nice bonding time with your friends and family. Giorgio was a great teacher for us!
Noemi did an amazing job of sharing how she made pasta with her nonna. She is a pasta officionado. We had so much fun, and the pasta was delicious!
I recently had the pleasure of attending a fresh pasta-making class in the historic center of Rome, and it was truly one of the highlights of my time in the city. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming — exactly what you'd hope for in the heart of the Eternal City. The instructor was passionate, knowledgeable, and incredibly patient, guiding us step by step through the art of making fresh pasta entirely from scratch. We learned how to make tagliatelle/fettuccine and ravioli, mastering techniques I had never tried before and that I'll definitely be bringing back to my own kitchen. What made the experience truly special was the combination of hands-on learning and genuine Italian warmth. The chef didn't just teach us how to roll dough — they shared the why behind every step, the tradition, and the love that goes into real Italian pasta-making. And of course, sitting down together at the end to enjoy the fruits of our labor was the perfect, delicious conclusion. Whether you're a complete beginner or a home cook looking to level up, this class is an absolute must-do in Rome. Highly recommended!
We loved the cooking class! Riccardo was so fun and he interacted well with our children and made it a special experience. The food was great as well. We will definitely be making the pasta at home.
The class was fun, simple and entertaining. Olga was awesome, I didn't know how easy pasta making can be. It was great thank you!
The location was good, right in the centre of Rome. We had Fabrizio as our teacher and he was entertaining, helpful and knowledgeable. We had a good laugh throughout but it was clear that Fabrizio was a genuine professional and he made sure we received lots of information and tips on making pasta, pasta fillings and also sauces. Some nice wee extra touches throughout. This booking was for my wife’s birthday and she thoroughly enjoyed it. Highly recommended.
Learning how to make pasta was fine, Giorgio was a good teacher, but many aspects of the evening were disappointing: Everyone made their pasta then it was all mixed and cooked together by Giorgio. This was ok for Fettuccine but not really for Ravioli and Cappelletti. There was a skill to making them and it would have been good to eat your own creations, rather than a spoonful of someone else’s. The sauces were prepared and added by Giorgio, so definitely not a cooking experience. Basic pomodoro (tomato and garlic) sauce for the fettuccine and butter and sage for the filled pasta. No experience or skill required for either sauce, but we didn’t get to make it anyway. It would have been nice to be shown how to make a Cacio e Pepe or Carbonara sauce but that would have required more effort from Pastamania. The wine wasn’t put on the table until we’d made the pasta and Giorgio had cooked it, but it consisted of a carafe of a young red wine (no bottle seen) between 10 people (100cl each). Other drink options were tap water or nothing. To recap: the dinner consisted of a starter portion of fettuccine pommodoro with a side of 8 small filled pasta bits and nothing else. No bread, no salad, a sip of wine and some tap water (tap water in Rome is drinkable) all for €105. The dinner for 2 was probably worth €25 at most, so €80 for the class, which was interesting but had nothing wow about it. We stopped for a glass of wine and Tonno carpaccio on the way home :)
Great fun making 3 types of pasta. Georgio was very informative and helpful. Highly recommend this activity.
We had the most amazing experience. Fabrizio was funny and very knowledgeable. The class was fun, warm, and engaging! It was my birthday and he even surprised me with candles and a special treat! I would absolutely do the class again. Worth every penny spent! The pasta was also great!
Fabrizio was wonderful. He was kind and very patient with those in our group who were not experienced cooks. It was a great experience for all ages.
This experience started off rocky. Instructions to find the location were unclear. The picture from the Maps was different. There was no cat? (I guess this was ann antremot ant being cutesy in order to find the location but it was a fail). And the entrance is in a very dark alley that is easily missed. We walked by it several times, there is no signage, and none of the businesses close by on the main roads are familiar with it. There was no number to call, apparently they attempted to call me to ask if I was going to be on time after the experience had already started. However I don’t use what’s app, so that was a fail. Ultimately after settling my frustrated nerves, Giorgio was helpful in learning to make pasta from scratch. It was an okay experience, not very exciting or entertaining if that’s what you’re looking for, very calm and to the point. A little boring. I would try again somewhere else with another vendor.
We had such a fun morning, Chef Olga was fantastic and taught us so much. Was a great activity after non-stop sight seeing around beautiful Rome. Highly recommend.
Great fun and would definitely try to replicate at home. Giorgio was a fab teacher - very funny, and knowledgeable. The final dishes were very tasty and it was nice to share a meal with our fellow students. Would highly recommend
Cancelled this class and agreed refund. I booked another class on same date / time and then received message the day before cancelling the class - which I thought was 2nd class booked. It wasn't - it was Pastamania again - so due to poor communication and short notice, we ended up missing the 2nd class we booked. Get Your Guide would not accept any responsibility for the actions of their provider. Do not book anything through them.
this experience was really good. it was a relaxed atmosphere with our chef fabrizio making everyone at ease and feel very welcome. it was both fun and informative. a lovely experience to share with your partner, friends or on your own to meet new people. pasta, wine, good company and good times.
Really fun experience making pasta alongside Chef Christopher. Having had intermittent success making fresh pasta at home, we appreciated how easy it was to follow his recipe. We liked making one dough that worked for both fettuccine and ravioli. Definitely will be trying again at home.
I really enjoyed it Made three different pastas was 8 to a class after we cooked it we ate as a family
Christian was great leading the class, explaining each step with wonderful Italian enthusiasm. Pasta and sauce were delicious
Christian led our great pasta making experience in Rome. Thanks to him we had a fun and educational experience, great food and now have new skills. He explained the pasta making process so well that I feel confident making it at home. The whole experience lasted 3 hours. There were ten of us in the class. We made three types of pasta and enjoyed eating together. Christian demonstrated how to make the sauces and gave us a recipe card to take home. There were wine and soft drinks to accompany the meal and delicious chocolate salami for dessert followed by limoncello all included in the price. I looked at other companies and can say with some confidence this is the best priced . Our only regret is that we didn't do this at the start of our trip because Christian gave us a list of foodie recommendations for Rome. We will just have to return to try them out. One thing to note, it is tricky to find so look out for the horse's head above the large doors.
We had an amazing time! Our host, Christian, was energetic, funny, and felt more like the fun cousin than a formal instructor. He immediately put everyone at ease, making the pasta-making process easy to follow and enjoyable for all. Our group included two grandparents in their 80s, two adult children (18 and 22), and my spouse and me, and every single person had a fantastic time. We loved spending the evening with the other guests, enjoying incredible pasta and sauces, everything was delicious. My one regret was not buying the chitarra pasta maker—don’t make the same mistake, be sure to purchase it!

I loved learning but the best is that the pasta becomes actually really good and tasty. Super fun and also receiving biscuits, wine, dessert and limoncello is a special treat! Shout out to the instructor who was alone in our night and even alone was able to handle 20+ with excellence.
Giorgio was our instructor, and he taught us how easy pasta making can be and we could taste the delicious pasta at the end of the class. I would recommend this experience to everyone, who is looking for a great evening programme in Rome.
Fantastic experience! Christian was outstanding. Very patient, kind & so much fun. Highly recommend. A trip highlight for sure!
