Rome: Colosseum, Forum, And Capitoline Hill Walking Tour

One of the best experiences while traveling. The guide was so knowledgeable and really brought the history of the city to life.

Walking tour was just OK. Our guide’s English was difficult to understand and he didn’t always explain historical sites (e.g. the Forum) that we saw. I had to ask questions about “what is that area?” just to get some information. Fortunately, I had my Rick Steves pocket guide and could read about the areas as we walked along. There was extra time because there was a Spanish speaking couple, so the guide would have to stop and repeat everything he said to us in Engiiah to them in Spanish.

Very informative and Justin was extremely pleasant. He was especially knowledgeable about the churches in the area.

I booked under impression that would be able to get inside of Colosseum. But realized later once received confirmation from tour operator that this is only Colosseum exterior tour. So I did not bother to go there since already did check exterior myself. I would recommend the tour operator spell out out explicitly that this is only exterior tour on main page when making booking and don’t mislead

Knowledgeable guide, however it is not for kids , even adults were squeamish from the dark and disturbing facts the tour guide was providing. I understand colosseum and Rome have a dark past but the disturbing details the guide provided were wholly unnecessary

Justin was great. Very knowledgeable about the history of Rome and he shared interesting stories and facts about the buildings and Italian culture.

Finding the meeting spot was a little challenging, but our guide Abigail was amazing and found us. The stories she shared on the tour were engaging and gave excellent context for the present and the past.

Justin has a deep understanding of history and does an excellent job of relating Roman history to present day and how it has affected modern western civilizations! He is truly interested in hearing questions and you can tell he likes a back and forth rapport. It’s like having a professor guide you on the tour!

Justin was an amazing and very knowledgeable tour guide. He always managed to find some great shade and guided us to some watering spots to refill our bottles too which made this a very comfortable walking tour. His knowledge was most interesting and very detailed, I would highly recommend doing this tour

This tour does not include entry into the Colosseum. We booked the wrong day by mistake and the owners refused to help us. Go with someone else for a tour

I wouldn't even give a star. This ticket is for a tour outside the Colosseum, a trip into the city. The name of the ticket leads you to believe that you will visit something inside. Please don't book; we got scammed.

The meeting up place was beautiful but very hard to find…we asked local people out walking their dogs to help us and even they were confused. It would have been nice to have Justin dressed in a bright yellow hat to begin with and know that ahead of time. Justin was wonderful, very knowledgeable and a great story-teller, using questions from us as a launching point for another story. Justin finding the coolest spots on the route to keep us from melting was very appreciated. After the tour we even went to a restaurant on Justin’s recommendation that was fabulous. Thanks Justin.

READ THE FINE PRINT BEFORE BOOKING, there is no access to any attractions, just a walk outside. The description is intentionally misleading.

Abgail is very knowledgeable about the area, and gives you a great insight to the history and brascillia we went into was amazing

Scam. They only tell you in a very tiny phrase in the end of purchase that you won’t be inside. I would not recommend. If you want to walk around just google it and don’t waste your money

Very nice- don’t do it on a hot day. Our group was tiny so we were able to stay close to our guide. Abagail was very professional kind and patient- helped us find your way around.

Whilst there was disappointment we didnt go in to the colosseum, Justin was an excellent guide and we actually enjoyed our tour more than we initially thought we might 😊 We were in a group of six and it was perfect

You advertise the walking tour to the Colosseum, the Forum, and the Capitoline Hill. But you do not specify that it does not include admission to any of those sites. We bought the tour believing that the tickets were included. I never would have bought the tour knowing that the tickets were not included, and much less at that price. The other family that was taking the tour had the same impression. They were also surprised that the tickets were not included. We are very disappointed with this tour. We are not happy at all and I would like a refund of the cost of this tour.

Our guide had infinite patience to locate and find us. SUPER friendly. Patient and clear in her explanations.

I felt mistaken, in the ad spoke walk to the coliseum on foot but did not say it was out, I thought it was a tour in there , total disappointment I do not recommend
