This tour was awesome! Our driver Francesco was great. He took us through all the spots, gave us some background and was so easygoing it was just what was ordered. We really saw so much, as the cart could fit many places. This is a must for people who can’t walk the millions of Roman steps! But want to be immersed in this beautiful city!
David was an excellent guide. Very personable and engaging. He drove us to some little known places away from the tourists and crowds for some absolutely breathtaking views. Even stopped for Gelato. Well worth the money. Promptly picked us up and dropped us off at our hotel.

This was a great tour of the highlights of Rome. Well paced, comfortable, and with an informed and friendly driver, Daniel. It was everything we hoped for. Do this on your first day here to orient yourself to the city: you will have a chance to see some of the big sights (Trevi fountain, Piazza Navona) for 20-30 minutes but then you will know what you want to return to to spend hours at.
Ivano was the perfect guide I had a walker and my four girls I can walk okay a little on my own but not stairs to be able to see all the sites up close and easily was wonderful. We were able to take back streets seeing real Rome avoiding busy main roads just made it so personal. We were shuttled to the best pizza and we even saw things not normal on other excursions.

Our tour guide, Daniel, an eclectic Renaissance man from Rome, was the best kind of tour guide, who arrived early at our hotel, helped us to “get lost” in the Eternal City, replete with history, Italian and Roman culture, all while keeping us safe and being responsive to our needs! We connected with him as though he were an old friend!! We experienced true hospitality!!! We met Achille at the front of the hotel. What a friendly greeting we got from him. He made sure we were warm enough and the golf cart seats were very comfortable. As our tour began, his knowledge of the history of Rome was excellent. He also has a great sense of humor and made us laugh. Taking the side streets and avoiding walking through the crowds was such a wonderful thing. He knew where to stop for all the great pictures and gave us plenty of time to enjoy. I am so very glad we used Rome in Golf Tour...would use them again and again. Great service, comfortable ride, and Achille made it the best 4 hours in Rome. At the end we asked for a good place for lunch and he gave us a spot in the train station. It was unbelievable. More than 5 stars!!

If i could give more stars I would. Ms. Roberta was AWESOME in terms of service and working through the language barrier via WhatsApp. Made it really easy. She went out of her way to book a tour for us at the last minute. A group of 4, we had the BEST guide, Mr. Onofri/Humphrey. He was on time, patient with us taking our pictures, gave us special tips on all the sites and was so pleasant. I would take another tour with him!! Can't thank this wonderful company enough for making the experience so great!!

We were traveling in a group of 4, with my 88 year old uncle who cannot walk long distances. We found this golf cart tour and thought it would be perfect to allow him to see the sites, and we were right! The only thing is it actually exceeded our expectations. Our guide was so gifted! He is a natural story teller with great comedic timing. He is incredibly knowledgeable about the history behind so many of the buildings and artworks. I have been to Rome many times myself, and I have to say I learned so much today, as the tour was so full of depth. I am so grateful for the experience!
My wife and I are well traveled and this tour was one of the best we have ever had in any county! Ivano's mix of passion, knowledge and connections provided us an amazing experience at every turn. We felt like we had an intimate experience with the City of Rome because of the passion Ivano displayed throughout the tour. His recommendations for restaurants were impeccable and he was instrumental in getting us in!! We were there on Good Friday before Easter and the Coliseum was blocked off because of the Pope. It was such a great tour missing getting close was a non event. Ivano makes a connection with his clients so much so that my son and I went to see his beloved Lazio Futbol team that evening! Money well spent and we hope we can return he favor if he ever comes to Charleston, SC
This was a great tour of all of the main Rome attractions. This is a great tour for people who want to see Rome but don’t have a lot of time or do not want to walk too much. Ivano was a great guide! One of our favorite parts was going through all of the side streets as you get to see a different part of Rome.
Wonderful tour! Since we had previously visited Rome on a couple of occasions we asked our guide, Claudio, to show us some off the grid sites. He was great at showing us things that we would otherwise not have seen. He gave us lots of background information which added to the tour, making it much more interesting. Definitely recommend this tour as something different and well worth the the time.
Ivano our guide was excellent. So knowledgeable and enthusiastic. Very warm , friendly and fun too. So accommodating for large family including grandparents with special needs. He pointed out the classics across rome as well as really unique items across Rome. We have been to time many times and often do tours across the city - Ivano and his golf cart best of all the guides. Also Roberta who schedules is incredibly helpful and flexible too. A great team and operation. Our family wholeheartedly recommends.
Do yourself a favor and book this tour. You will see more of Rome up close and personal than you could do on foot in five days. Ivano is amazing. If you are like me you think of yourself taking a golf car tour and think "my god I will look like an idiot tourist" - get over it. You will thank yourself when it's done and you will tell anyone you know who is going to Rome to call Ivano! One last suggestion - if you have a few days in Rome, do this first, then see whatever you missed or didn't see enough of afterwards.

He accompanies you in the heart of Roma‘s city center in the narrow alleys that bring you to the 16th century, then along the forum back to Hadrian’s era, Trajan’s markets, the Trevi fountain and so on! By night or by day, it’’s certainly worth while and very funny in the small golf car!
Couldn’t recommend this tour more highly! Ivano treated us like family and was so engaging and full of information and passion for Rome. Nothing was any trouble and Ivano tailored their tour to us as we went. The golf cart made access to places so easy and we could see so much more then we would have on foot in the same time. We had a foldable manual wheelchair with us and it was no problem even with 5 passengers. A perfect way to get around and see amazing sights for anyone, but also if you have limited mobility. Ivano is amazing! Do not miss this hilarious, informative and down right fun tour with Ivano. He and his family have been running this tour company for years. He was very knowledgable about Rome, it secrets, highlights and locals perspective. He had former clients flying in that night to take his family to dinner. That is how much he is liked! The golf cart can park any where so you get super close to all the sights. Ask him to take you to the best espresso in Rome. Amazing!
We recently did the Rome in a Golf Cart with Giorgio for 4 hours. It was wonderful! We were in Rome just for a couple of days and wanted to see the whole city, not just the "must see" historical areas. ( He found great overhead views of the Colosseum and Forum you cannot envision while you are in the mix.) I made a list for Giorgio of things I hoped we could visit, and he hit 90% of them--one area was too far away. He was so knowledgeable about everything and easily chatted about life as a modern Roman. We were on main roads and alleys in order to see everything and always felt completely safe in the golf cart--seatbelts mandatory. He made several stops we requested--gelato and bakery treats. If you want to see more than the usual sights, this is the magical way to go! We all thoroughly enjoyed this tour.

We spent half the day with Ivano today seeing Rome by golf cart and it was so much more than we anticipated! He showed us Roma through his eyes, shared with us the soul of Italy! Thank you for making our first day in Rome so enjoyable. We were able to see all the main sights traveling by golf cart. We got out and walked around at several locations allowing for photos. Would highly recommend as your first tour in Rome as very informative.
We originally scheduled a golf cart tour but DGS offered us a Limovan tour since rain was in the forecast. We were very thankful for that as it poured during part of our four hour tour. Pietro was very knowledgeable about Roman history and presented it in an interesting manner. We let him decide the route knowing we were going to the Vatican the next day. My favorite stop was the Papal Arch-basilica of St John Lateran which was the most beautiful church I had ever seen. I particularly valued his explanations of the meaning of the coats of arms above the doorways and status of having a church next to your residence. We saw the Trevi fountain, Piazza Navona, Fountain of the 4 Rivers, Circus Maximus, and more. The tour ended outside of the Colosseum.

My wife and I had 1 day to see Rome post a great cruise around Italy. Upon a recommendation, we elected to use DGS's golf cart tour. Ivano in those 4 hours showed us more than we could ever possibly cover by ourselves in 2 days or more plus we saw the highlights of Rome with the enthusiasm & expertise of a true native. We moved throughout the city and the sites with ease learning about everything we passed with stops to get out and explore for a bit and we even stopped at a "local" spot for some delicious espresso. My daughter and I were going to Rome for the first time and it was a short trip. With my heart and lung disease I would have never been able to do the walking required to see all of the sights. I had started out working with another tour group but they were slow to respond to my questions and with our trip quickly approaching I decided to find another group. I'm so thankful that I did! Roberta from DGS was very responsive and I was able to work out the details of my trip quickly. I arranged for a full day golf cart tour and was met promptly by a very friendly, knowledgeable, and enthusiastic driver, Ivano. I can't say enough about how well Ivano took care of me and my daughter. He was flexible and made sure we saw everything we wanted to see, he knew a great deal about the city, adding wonderful details and facts to everything we saw and experienced, and he went out of his way to make sure we had a pleasant day. We had such a great time, in fact, that we immediately booked him again for the next day for a few hours. Over the two days he showed us little known churches that rivaled the Sistine Chapel, gave us plenty of time to see multiple Piazza's, and even helped us find a wine we were looking for. He introduced us to a local favorite food, suppli, even going as far as pulling over and ordering a couple of varieties for us to try! We left feeling like we now have a friend in Rome and we will look him up every time we go or have friends who are planning a trip to Italy (he doesn't just do Rome tours). My mother has been raving about Ivano and Drivers Guide Service for years but we had limited time so opted for the 2 hour nighttime tour. We felt like we won the lottery with Ivano as our guide, he was amazing, he knew every back alley to give us a sensational insiders tour of every attraction in Rome. In addition to getting around easily, Ivano is so knowledgeable and affable that we had fun and learned a lot about Rome! It is unbelievable how much we saw in that short time, and really enjoyed experiencing the city at night with all the beautiful lights. My husband and I learned so much and saw everything from St Peters Basilica to the Coliseum. WOW! The only thing I wish is that we had scheduled this tour on the first night so we could have some inside information and understand the lay of the land. We loved this experience and recommend it highly!
Ivano gave us an outstanding tour of Rome in his very capable golf cart. We started out with the wonderful Vista of the whole city and then made our way through the winding alleys and streets. The access afforded by the small golf cart is amazing. Ivano can drop you off very close to a given site and wait nearby. Our kids were sick this day and we ended up covering over 10 miles without having to walk more than a few hundred feet. Ivana has an outstanding personality and is great with kids. We would definitely do another tour with him and I'm hoping to send my mom with him on a tour.
