This was the best part of our trip to Rome. Sergio was amazing. He was patient, kind and thoroughly explained the pick up and drop off location at every stop. We booked in advance and we were so glad we did. It is September and the heat was unbearable at times. The breeze alone from Sergio driving through Rome was so refreshing. My sister and I were so happy that we were not walking through the crowds. We were able to see so many landmarks in one day. If you are planning to visit Rome, this is a must do. Michael was excellent. Since we had been to Rome before, we asked him to see the things other tourists don’t see. He personalized it for us and being from the US, he showed us the US Embassy. We felt very safe on the roads and it helped us access areas busses and cars couldn’t.
Valerio was a knowledgable, passionate tour host. Knows his Roman history and suggests great places to eat, drink and enjoy gelato. Our family of two adults, 15 and 12 year old kids loved it. Getting around in a golf buggy means you see everything as you're easily travelling the backstreets (the veins as Valerio says) of Rome.. This was perfect for us as only in Rome for two days. He mentioned the main difference between the golf buggy tour and Vespa tours is you get to learn more on the buggies.
If I could give this more than 5 stars ⭐️ I would. Our tour guide Francesco was amazing and we had a great time seeing all of the sights. He was very knowledgeable and accommodating to all our requests, and we got to see way more of the city than we were expecting in our short stay. He also recommended fantastic places for local dishes that were way better than the tourist spots. 10 out of 10 must do on a trip to Rome!!!

Achille was fanstastic with us, he was flexible enough to find space for our photographer on the golf cart. Was very funny and engaging. Talked about Rome’s history and was knowledgeable. The whole golf cart idea was great because it was a hot day in Rome yet we managed to see the main historical sites in less than 4 hours while stopping and getting a quick history class with some photos. This tour company is "simply the best". Claudio picked us up from the hotel on time, and he was very knowledgeable about Rome, and showed us all the sights. So. Much. Fun. Ivano was amazing and not only did he make it so much fun, we learned a ton from him. The forecast was for rain, so we were originally going to forego the cart and use a van, but Ivano asked us if we wanted to try the golf cart. We did, and even though we had a few minutes of rain, it did not affect us, and the rest of the day was dry. We saw so much more than we ever anticipated, and the ability to fit onto narrow streets was spectacular. I wish I could give it more than five stars!!! Truly a wonderful experience for our multi-generational group!!!

We took the golf cart tour of Rome. It was excellent and we could not be happier. Our guide and golf cart driver showed us parts that are usually not accessible on large tours. He took us for lunch to a small traditional pizza place and later he had us experience espresso, the Italian way. We had a great experience and would highly recommend to anyone considering a private tour of Rome.
We have taken 2 golf cart tours with Drivers Guide, the 2 hour night tour, and the 4 hour history tour. Both were fantastic, our guide was very knowledgeable and had a great sense of humor. A few of my clients have also taken tours with Drivers Guide and were very happy that I recommended the golf cart tours with this company. I had planned to return to Rome in May on a girls trip, we had reserved the Golf Cart night tour, and Trastevere & Jewish Ghetto day tour. Due to Covid19 we had to reschedule. Driver's Guide has been so easy to work with, rescheduling our tours to to this November. I would highly recommend this company for any of their tours. If you are wanting to do a tour of Rome though, I really feel the golf cart tours are the way to go. You see more alleys and places a car just can't go. It's private so the 1-1 with your guide is really wonderful, learning a lot more of the history than you would on a tour with 15 or more people.
I recently did a golf cart tour with Ivano in Rome and it was amazing. Ivano was so very helpful and knowledgable of the city he so obviously loves. I loved seeing Rome "through his eyes". We learned so many things about the city that we wouldnt have if we did a big tour or trying to see all of the things on our own! I highly recommend Ivano and his tours!
