Rome: 4-hour Golf Cart Food Tour With Authentic Roman Tastings

Must do Rome in a golf cart. Our family had a great time and Our guide, Valerio, was passionate about the city and made the tour enjoyable.

My wife and I had an AMAZING tour with Valerio. This was perhaps our favorite thing we did in 5 days in Rome. Valerio was a wealth of knowledge and is clearly passionate about this work. We saw a ton of Roman history, got to drive through small back roads where cars couldn't fit, and had incredible food at a local market. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Rome.

Valerio was our tour guide and it was incredible! We learned so much about the history but also just by taking all the backstreets, we saw things you wouldn’t see unless you were a local. Then the food at the farmers market that we had was so delicious! All the meats and cheeses and raviolis was some of the best food. Highly recommend doing this tour through this company. You won’t regret it!

We took this tour on the last day of our stay. It was easily one of our favorites. Because we had already been to the major places, Valerio took us to see some amazing sights. Our favorite was a 1700 year old church under a Bacillica. He's very passionate in his love for his city and it made our tour very enjoyable. Totally worth it.

It was a wonderful way to see the city thru all the back streets. Achille picked us up at our hotel. We saw many attractions from different perspectives because the golf card could go anywhere. The food market was a good place to try the local delicacies.

Fun. Very informative.Covers areas and sites of Rome not accessible by any other means. Food was great! Our guide Achilles was humorous, knowledgeable and passionate about his city. Since we had seen the major sites with other tours, Achilles was flexible with the itinerary and diverted to various other sites not visited by many tours for fabulous photo ops.We highly recommend this tour and Achilles as your guide.

This was an amazing way to see Rome. Our tour guide was Eduardo and he was extremely informative and fun. We typically do tours centered around history and culture, but wanted to try something more fun for the kids (17, 14, 11). I was pleasantly surprised that the tour had as much information about history and culture, in addition to the great lunch from a local market. The tour takes you through many of the alleyways of Rome and also onto the main roads which is fun since you’re on the road with buses, cars, and motorcycles. We had a great time and our girls said it was their favorite tour of the trip. Despite temperatures in the mid 90’s, the tour was still pleasant because the golf cart has a roof and the driver is able to park close to each site you visit. Therefore, there was very limited walking but we were still able to see a good number of sites. Would absolutely recommend this as your first tour of Rome. You can then see what areas or sites you want to return to for a more in depth tour. We did separate in depth tours of the Vatican/Sistine Chapel and Colosseum/Roman Forum.

So much fun and so informative. The food stop was terrific! Valerio took great care of us. Highly recommended. Food, wine, history.

This tour was great and definitely would recommend! Valerio was our guide and he was super knowledgeable about everything we saw. Great sites and information, we learned a lot and really enjoyed it. We will do again next time we are in Rome.

We were visiting Rome for the first time and wanted a tour that would give us an overview of the entire city. Our guide was a young man named Valerio and his knowledge of Rome and its history was unbelievable! He often referred to Rome as “my city” and we could clearly see how much he loved his city. Because the tour was in a golf cart, he was able to venture down many tiny side streets and shortcuts which were charming and beautiful areas we would never have found on our own. He also took us to an indoor food market and provided us with some delicious freshly prepared local foods for lunch, plus wine. He wrapped up the leftovers, including the bottle of wine, and insisted we take them with us! When making the reservation several months ago, I had a few questions and was able to communicate with them by email and received very timely responses. We highly recommend this tour and this company and would definitely book with them again. Thank you, Valerio!

Fabulous way to see the city! Our guide Valerio was super knowledgeable and very entertaining. This is my third trip to Rome and this was by far the best experience. You get close to everything and see so many sites in a short period of time. Highly recommend! This is a must do if you’re visiting Rome.

What a wonderful day we had touring the beautiful city of Roma with our new friend Valerio. He was so knowledgeable about every aspect of the city, we could tell he loves, that we learned so many new bits of history that we never would have known. He was patient with us when we needed a break and adjusted our tour when he learned we had seen some landmarks the day before. I would give him 10 stars if I could. I highly recommend this tour if you want to learn about Rome and have an enjoyable day! And the food was delicious! Pizza, prosciutto, burrata, Parmesan, fried zucchini flowers, etc…. As a family we did the 4hr Rome city tour. It was such fun.Driving through the streets of Rome looks like chaos but we felt completely safe.It was our first time in Rome and it was such a great introduction to the city. Pietro was our guide and he was fantastic so knowledgeable and so much fun. Some of the small squares and alleyways he took us to were so beautiful and so calm compared to the hustle of Rome. Pietro took us to a delicious gelato shop and recommended a restaurant for our lunch. We loved our tour. We only had a few short hours to spend in Rome and Petro our guide made sure that we saw it all! He was knowledgeable and friendly l. He knew all the tourist stops and several not so known spa that were very fascinating.. so glad we decided to see Rome with the golf cart tour. Highly recommend!!!

First time overnight in Rome, staying five nights. We wanted a good overview of Rome. We took this tour on our second full day to allow for time adjustment from the travel from the USA. Peter was our tour guide. The tour was four hours in length. We started at 10:00 AM picked up from our hotel. We were the only couple on the cart. To describe our experience, in one word, FANTASTIC. Peter did a great job. He was knowable, very polite and professional. Seeing Rome by golf cart is the way to go. Having taken the tour, I would do it again. It was very enjoyable and I would recommend highly.

This trip was amazing, a great way to explore Roma! We did the trip at night which avoided the congestion and we got to see a different side of the city. Our guide Pietro/Peter was very knowledgeable and shared much about the city’s history. Great fun and very informative.
