Our Guide Massi tailored a 3 hour tour of Rome for us. We had been to Rome before so we went off the beaten path and ventured to 3 terraces with different views of the city. Massi is an excellent guide, knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate about Rome.

We had a wonderful golf cart tour in Rome yesterday. Our driver, Cristian, was so kind, friendly, flexible, and thoughtful, and he did everything he could to make sure the experience suited us. He even took us to a fantastic restaurant, which was the perfect way to finish the experience. Exploring Rome by golf cart was a fun, comfortable, and memorable way to see the city. We truly enjoyed every minute of it! Highly recommend the tour, especially with Cristian as your driver.

We had the most amazing time on our 3-hour golf cart tour of Rome! We only had a short amount of time in the city, and this was the perfect way to see so much without ever feeling rushed. We were picked up by Lorenzo who arrived 15 mins late but had notified us that he had been held up. We were taken to all the key sites and had ample time to get out of the cart, look around and take pictures etc. Lorenzo was very knowledgeable and friendly. Great way to get your bearings and see the major attractions over a 3 hour period.

Our driver Giorgio was fantastic. He took us to all the hot spots but also to some gems that he knew about. We only had a short time in Rome and Giorgio made sure we made the most of it.

We did the tour seeing Rome in one day and it was fantastic! Our guide was Marco D., he was amazing! He took us around to all the sites and explained a little bit about the history of each location with some interesting bits of information that you don’t get from guidebooks. It was so much easier and more convenient doing it by car rather than trying to walk or take taxis to different locations. Marco knew all about the churches and the history of each and took us to places we never would’ve gone into from outside appearances alone. On top of that, he was pleasant with a good sense of humor. I would highly recommend this tour to anybody. It was a great value!

Mash was a wonderful guide and this is the tour to do if you have limited time in Rome. We caught all the highlights with a good commentary and the tour was flexible to what we wanted to see. This was a great tour for our first day when we were jet lagged but needed to stay up to turn our time around.

Marco gave us the ride of a lifetime! We met him at 9pm for a night time tour of the sights and he took us to all the best viewpoints and gave us history, funny stories, and photographs all along the way. He knows Rome like the back of his hand (or like his backhand iykyk) and he shares it with you with such genuine warmth and charm. This was by far our best experience in Rome. Marco is an absolute gem!

Booked a last-minute golf cart tour and was so glad that we did! My husband, three boys and I enjoyed seeing all the highlights that Rome has to offer while saving our feet after days of sightseeing in different cities. It was a fun and efficient way to pack it all in three hours! Our tour guide Giulio was knowledgeable, friendly and knew all the best spots for taking pictures. He even gave us a list of his fave restaurants which was so handy to have coming from a local. The whole experience was comfortable, fun and the best way to not miss anything when you’re short on time! All in all, I would highly recommend touring Rome with a private golf cart tour!

Our guide Massimiliano gave us an unforgettable night tour of Rome. We'd already spent two days walking much of the city, so he asked what we wanted to see and customized the route for us, which made all the difference. He took us to places most visitors don't get to, like the Pyramid of Cestius and some incredible lookouts over the city. You can tell he genuinely loves his job. He took the time to explain everything and patiently answered our many questions as he drove us from site to site, and he even hopped out of the cart to take photos of us in front of the sights again and again. Seeing Rome lit up at night was a highlight of our trip. I highly recommend Massimiliano and Rome by Cart!

I contacted them via WhatsApp well in advance to clarify several questions. One of them was whether the tour could be conducted in Spanish (for my parents), and Nicolo confirmed that it could. Before making the payment, they answered all my questions promptly. However, once I made the booking through their website, they simply stopped responding. On the day of the tour, I called them several times, but no one answered. Eventually, they only marked the booking as “confirmed,” without even being friendly or helpful in their responses. When the guide arrived, he spoke English. I called Nicolo, but nothing! Despite knowing that it was their mistake, he showed no empathy or willingness to acknowledge the error and apologize. I had to ask the guide to put me through to him because he simply wouldn't respond to me. In the end, they offered us a Spanish-speaking tour if we wait one more hour, but they had already ruined our entire day just with their attitude. My parents were disappointed and exhausted. The worst experience ever! (I have done golf cart tours in four European countries.) The service itself wasn't necessarily bad. The real problem was the poor communication from the person in charge Nicolo, and his lack of responsiveness. At one point, he even told me that the response I received was from a robot because they were too busy. Honestly, they completely ruined our day yesterday.

Valerio was a great guide. His explanations of historic sites was very knowledgeable. His friendly demeanor made our tour extremely enjoyable.

Saw so much more of Rome than we even knew about and we have visited Rome before Marco is an excellent guide- friendly, very knowledgeable and filled the 3 hours with an abundance of sights and information. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! We booked this excursion in July. We arrived in Rome from the USA on September 10. We looked at the weather forecast on the plane; it called for 100% chance of heavy rain and thunderstorms. We contacted the company and they stated “carts can be closed if rain comes in. And it should not rain this afternoon.” Two hours before the excursion I again contacted the company (heavy rain / thunderstorms forecasted at our designated time) was unchanged. The vendor still did not cancel the excursion; we did not because we would be responsible for the full fare (< 24 hr cancellation). We decided to go and it was a disaster. The driver was nice but very heavy rain and thunderstorms hit 20 min into the excursion. All of us felt VERY UNSAFE. Rain made the traffic (cars and pedestrians) very hectic / unpredictable. The windshield became fogged and together with the rain made visibility of cars and people (let alone any “sights”) impossible. We asked the driver to take us back to our Airbnb. We ended the trip because of very real safety concern (not theirs) they would not provide a full refund. We have contested this charge with our credit company. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

Our guide Luca is amazing. Showed up on time and very well organized night tour. He explained the history of all the spots we visited and dropped us off back at our hotel, which is on the other side of the center of Rome. The trip was wonderful! However I’m not super happy about the scheduling cuz the correspondence was not super responsive and our schedule was pushed back for 30mins. Not a big deal but I wish they could respond more timely.

Massimiliano was very friendly, VERY knowledgeable about the places he showed us. Took us to places we would never have known about. Or found on our own. Gave us plenty of time when we got out to check out some places. Never in a hurry. Kept us hydrated. 😀. We learned many facts about these places we never knew before. And it gave us ideas as to which place we might want to go back and see more. Anyone riding with Max will not regret the tour he will give you. Highly recommend him.

Sorry, but this experience was the worst we had while in Rome for a week. The driver showed up 25 minutes late, the golf cart was fairly old and beat up, the driver was a nice guy but he made no commentary on Rome or where we were or anything. Just drive us to 3 different places that we wanted to see. Not at all what we were expecting.

Marco picked us up directly from our hotel, and the private golf cart tour lasted a little over three hours. We were able to visit so many of Rome’s landmarks and historic sites, and Marco was an excellent guide throughout the entire experience. He was extremely knowledgeable, patient, and took the time to show us so many things we probably would’ve missed exploring on our own. The private golf cart made getting around the city easy and comfortable, and I really enjoyed the entire tour. To top it all off, Marco even treated us to gelato during the tour! Great service, great experience, and I would definitely recommend Marco to anyone visiting Rome.

We booked a three-hour golf cart tour of Rome for our family and friends more than six weeks in advance, specifically because we had limited time in Rome while arriving by cruise. The night before the tour, the company confirmed our 10:30 AM start time, only to message us about an hour later saying they could not begin until 12:30. To accommodate the change, we agreed to shorten the tour to two hours. We were also promised a complimentary pizza tasting as an apology, along with flexible pickup and drop-off. Unfortunately, the experience the next day was extremely disorganized. We had a group of nine, including a toddler, and were told that two carts would accommodate us. When the guides arrived, the carts only accommodated eight people. One guide became visibly frustrated and returned to the garage for a larger cart, leaving us waiting nearly 50 minutes. The second guide also told us he normally worked for a different company and did not even know his partner, which added to the overall feeling of disorganization. Once the tour finally began, we clearly explained that we wanted to see the Trevi Fountain, Colosseum, Spanish Steps, and Marcus Aurelius statue. While the tour itself was beautiful and the golf carts were a wonderful way to see Rome in the heat, the guides repeatedly took us to places we had not requested. With only about 30 minutes remaining, we had seen just the Colosseum. We had also specifically asked to visit Geolitti Gelato, but the guides insisted they knew a better shop. We were then taken to their preferred gelato shop and told the tour was ending. When we questioned why we had not seen the sites we had requested, the guide argued that they had taken us to a different, less crowded fountain instead of the Trevi Fountain. While we were inside getting gelato, one of the guides simply left. The remaining guide then insisted that we pay the full price, despite the tour being significantly delayed and shortened due to issues entirely on the company’s end. We also reminded him about the complimentary pizza tasting that had been promised but never provided. After a lengthy and frustrating discussion, he eventually contacted his manager, who spoke fluent English and was able to speak with us. The sights we did see were beautiful, and the golf cart was a great way to explore Rome. However, the poor communication, delays, disorganization, failure to follow the itinerary we agreed upon, and overall customer service were extremely disappointing. We chose this company for what was essentially our one day in Rome, and unfortunately, we did not get the experience we had paid for. Based on our experience, I would recommend choosing a different tour company.

Absolutely great tour from start to finish. We were picked up promptly from our hotel but from then on in our guide was truly generous with both his knowledge of Rome and his time! We visited all the major sites plus some hidden gems, with information at each stop. It was never scripted or too much but perfectly tailored to our interest and left us with great memories of the city If you can only do one trip on your visit to Rome, this is the one! Marco was our guide - absolute expert on anything we asked but also a true Roman gentleman that will be remembered long beyond the trip. We had such a great experience! Marco was our guide that we were immensely lucky to book with. He knew so much and shared so much information with us, it really enhanced the tour. I would absolutely recommend this tour to anyone. I was a little apprehensive about the price at first, but would gladly pay it again, the tour was worth every euro we paid. We saw all the big sites, and some smaller ones Marco thought we would appreciate- the school of physics Enrico Fermi was working at before he moved to America, that we did appreciate seeing as my husband is an engineer. Not only would I recommend the tour, I highly recommend Marco.

Matteo was absolutely fantastic and made our day in Rome so enjoyable. He was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable and clearly passionate about his city. He shared lots of interesting information and local history, but also took us to a few little local gems that we would never have discovered ourselves. What really stood out was how much care he took to tailor the tour to us. We had already visited some of the main sights, so Matteo adapted the tour around what we hadn’t seen, and he was also brilliant with our son, who isn’t able to walk long distances. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and he was so patient and accommodating throughout. We had a genuinely lovely day and came away feeling like we’d seen a different, more local side of Rome. We couldn’t recommend Matteo highly enough — a wonderful guide, great company and someone who clearly goes the extra mile to make sure his guests have a fantastic experience. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Great experience to visit Rome at the sunset

We had a great experience booking a 3 hour golf cart tour on Tuesday, August 11, 2026 with Matteo. We are a family of 5 visiting from the USA and it’s our first time in Rome. 2 adults and 3 kids aged 7, 11 and 13. Matteo was top notch and made sure the kids were happy. We intentionally booked a tour at 7:00pm and Matteo made sure we saw a beautiful sunset and St Peter’s Square all lit up at night. If we ever make it back we will book again!

Cristiano was awesome. Kind, on time, adjusted to our family’s needs (we were traveling with an elderly parent and 4yo child), and paced the tour nicely given the scorching heat during Rome’s heatwave. He gave as great restaurant and cafe recommendations, brought snacks for our child and sparkling water for us, and kept in touch afterwards with further recommendations. He’s a local Roman and knows the city well. We hope to keep in touch.
