Our golf cart food tour with Fabio was easily one of our favorite experiences of our entire trip! From the very beginning, Fabio was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable. He truly went above and beyond to make the experience special. What we loved most was that he took us beyond the typical tourist spots and into areas of Rome where you really get a feel for how the locals live. We visited amazing local food spots, explored neighborhoods we never would have found on our own, and got to see such a unique side of the city. Along the way, Fabio shared so much history about each area and made everything interesting and fun. This tour was the perfect combination of incredible food, history, sightseeing, and experiencing Rome like a local. Fabio’s passion for the city really showed, and he made the entire experience so memorable. If you’re visiting Rome, we HIGHLY recommend booking this tour and asking for Fabio! Ricardo was an excellent guide. He was well versed and knowledgeable and showed us a lot of history along with excellent food along the way. We started with coffee had a great Caprice salad in the market toasted some prosecco on giancolo Hill and finished with an epic lunch. The history of the amphora clay pots and the restaurants that are built into that area was amazing and really made the trip
Excellent food tour! Dario was great — very informative about the area and took us to some wonderful restaurants where we tried delicious food! Traveling from one stop to another on the golf cart made the evening very easy and gave us the opportunity to see different areas of Rome. This was one of the highlights of our trip — highly recommend!
We just completed 5 days in Rome (my 3rd trip) and tonight we had the most amazing and different tour run by Eating Europe. We did the VIP golf cart tour (along with our 12-year-old) and made 5 stops that included wine, spritz, local cheese/meats, stuffed zucchini, fried cod, Rigatoni, tiramisu AND gelato (and we learned how to spot the REAL locally made stuff vs. tourist traps). It is pricey, but worth every penny! We had a tiny group too! I’m posting their Rome offers-I’m sure all are amazing! (And if you can-request Dario-he was fabulous!!)
Rish was an incredible guide. He grew up in the area and provided us with a lot insight on the the area as well as the history of the places with visited at ate at. The food places were incredible. Loved everything we ate. Brought us to a gelato store established in 1916. Taught us how to identify real gelato. Highly recommend this tour to everyone.

We had a really lovely experience on the tour. Everything was well organized. Luca, our guide, was friendly and knowledgeable, and the whole experience felt relaxed and easy to enjoy. It was a great way to see Trastevere, and I’d happily recommend it to anyone looking for a well-run tour. Luca is quite the comedian, and had us laughing from beginning to end. If your meeting point is Piazza di San Francesco d'Assisi, go early to visit the church as there is a stunning Bernini sculpture on the left at the back, when looking at the altar.
We had such a great time on our food tour with Valter! He was friendly, knowledgeable, and made the whole experience so much fun. One thing that really stood out was how he interacted with our 10-year-old son, Alex. He listened to him with genuine enthusiasm and made him feel like a special part of the tour. Valter also recommended a great spot for pizza after the tour, and it was fantastic! If you're looking for an amazing food tour in Rome, we highly recommend Valter. Rish was great! A lot of fun, took us to different neighborhoods, restaurants and excellent choice of foods. I highly recommend the tour, but make sure you ask for Rish to be your guide. Also being in a golf cart, you can experience more!
Tour was fine but not spectacular. Guide was a bit unengaged early in the tour. He didn’t talk much and seemed to warm up as the trip continued but only after we initiated conversation. Food and drink was fine. Compared to other tours we have done in this price range, it was a bit forgettable.

Look no further, this is the food tour to reserve. My wife and I (foodies from Chicago) had the greatest time. Not only did we try excellent food, had a nice tour of Rome, but also learned some of Rome's history and culture. Thanks to our guide, Rish, this food tour was one of the highlights of our entire European trip. Rish was comedic, patient, and very knowledgeable about the city he loves. Yes you can do walking food tours, but going by Golf cart is so much easier, you cover much more ground and are able to visit hidden gems. Super fun and great food tour: 5 stars!

Our guide, Rish, was fantastic—funny, knowledgeable, energetic, and passionate about both Rome and its food culture. His local insights, history lessons, and endless fun facts made every stop memorable. The golf cart allowed us to comfortably explore several neighbourhoods while enjoying generous food and wine tastings. Highlights included Roman Jewish-style artichokes, Amatriciana, tiramisu, gelato, and a Prosecco stop with spectacular views from Gianicolo Hill. This was much more than a food tour—it was a wonderful introduction to Rome’s history, culture, and culinary traditions. Come hungry! Highly recommended.

My friend and joined a family of four for the four hour golf cart food tour. Fabio, our guide, was awesome—so smart, funny, and charming. We went to five places and had a charcuterie with spritz of your choice, fried artichoke, fried cod with wine, pasta with wine, tiramisu, and finished at a gelato stop. The golf cart was so comfortable and easy to get in and out of. We learned so much and the food was excellent. I highly recommend this tour!
