We had an excellent experience on the night golf cart tour. Alex was an outstanding tour guide. We learned so much and saw all the beautiful sites. Worth it!

The good: the guide Stefan did take us to the various spots listed on the itinerary. The bad: the guide only explained in passing the various landmarks and would proceed by asking us a question like oh you know the story of Julius Caesar right and when we said no, he seemed perplexed that we didn’t know the history of Rome, even though it’s our first time in Rome. We did see cool historical sites at night, which was nice Lackluster professionalism. He did not introduce himself and was about to leave even though we were not late. Mentioned something about paperwork, but did not end up doing anything with that. He was also more focused on socializing with various other friends and tour operators than engaging with us. We were expecting more engagement and the guide seemed over it at the end of the day (mentioned 3 tours a day). This probably would have been better with a more enthusiastic guide.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Our sunset golf cart tour was honestly one of the highlights of our time in Rome! 🇮🇹❤️ We only had a couple of days in the city, and this was the PERFECT way to see so much of Rome in one evening. We cruised through the beautiful streets of Rome and saw so many incredible sights — the Colosseum, Roman Forum, Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, Piazza Navona, the Pantheon, and so many gorgeous churches, fountains, piazzas, and little streets along the way. We also got some amazing views of Rome as the sun was setting, and then watched the city completely change as everything lit up for the night. Absolutely magical! Our guide was fantastic and gave us the history and stories behind what we were seeing without making it feel like a history lesson. 😂 We were able to stop, take pictures, walk around at several of the sights, and really enjoy them instead of just driving past. And of course, there was GELATO! 🍦😂 Riding around Rome in a golf cart at sunset, seeing some of the most famous sights in the world, and stopping for gelato along the way… pretty hard to beat! After walking what felt like a million miles throughout Greece and Italy, our feet were also VERY thankful for the golf cart. 😂 If you’re short on time in Rome or just want a fun and different way to experience the city, absolutely book the sunset tour. We saw more in one evening than we ever could have managed on foot. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 10/10 — beautiful, fun, informative, and one of our favorite memories from Rome!

The sunset golf cart tour was good but it was hard for my family to hear the tour guide from the backseat with all the traffic noise. I would recommend that the tour guide pass out ear pieces on lanyards so all can hear well. The guide knew his way around the city well and Gelato at the end was amazing. There was some initial confusion with the meeting location so the tour started 15 minutes late but the guide accommodated us by showing us a few extra places. Overall good tour though.

My wife and I had a private golf cart tour today with our guide Federica. She was very pleasant and knowledgeable. We had a wonderful time as she patiently explained many of the sites we passed or stopped at, e.g., the Colosseum, Piazza Navona, Trevi Fountain, to name a few. She didn’t rush us at any site. And we finished our ride with delicious gelatos from Myo Gelatos. We would recommend this tour without hesitation

We had the best time seeing the Roman Forum, Colosseum, Vatican and many other places at sunset. Our guide was so informative and friendly! What a great way to spend our last night in Rome!

We met our driver/tour guide, Fiorella, for a beautiful evening in Rome. Fiorella was sweet, personable, knowledgeable and treated us like family. A relaxing ride through the streets of Rome including stops at the Trevi Fountain, the Spanish Steps, the Colosseum and the Palantine Hills. Such magnificent and electrifying sights by night. What a great way to start our Roman Holiday including a stop at the most delicious gelato shop ever. It was truly an Enchanted Evening. Don’t miss this opportunity…you will truly appreciate it.

Stefano was wonderful! Fun times and a great city. Gelato was delicious - pistachio and tiramisu were my favorite.

Book the trip with this company! This was planned for our first night so that we could see the city and hot spots for a relaxing evening after a long plane ride. But our flight was delayed making us miss the connection, thus not arriving until the next day. They generously amended our date even though it was past the 24hr mark. Our driver was amazing! Picked us up and dropped us off at our hotel. Since they couldn’t give us the tour until 2 days later I had already booked a different tour so we didn’t miss out. Since we already did a tour to the major sites he took us around to some hot spots that weren’t just the landmarks tourists want to see. We had the best time. He played music, talked with us, it was such a good evening spent. I can’t remember our guides name- but my husband and I said that was one of our favorite evenings after a very long day of walking and tours to the Vatican and colosseum. Also, the gelato shop they take you to in a square (La Gelateria) is the very best we had around the city!

We loved our experience with Barbara from the moment she arrived at our hotel to pick us up. The process was very smooth and we loved how she took us to all of the iconic places in Rome but accessed it from different viewpoints that as a tourist we wouldn’t have known about. This made it very relaxing and there was minimal crowds at most places. It truly was like experiencing Rome with a friend, we will recommend Barbara and AromaTours to all of our family and friends, for sure!

What a delightful way to visit the city sites with very little walking. Alex shared a lot of information about the sites we saw and neighborhoods we drove through. The sunset view was absolutely gorgeous. The Gelato at the end was a sweet treat.

This tour was FANTASTIC! We learned so much about Rome in two hours, and the time flew by! The city at night is beautiful. If you visit and don’t book this tour, you’ll miss out. This tour was AMAZING! Tom was our tour guide and he dazzled us with his knowledge of the city. We had visited some sites earlier in the day, so Tom, on the fly, switched up our tour and took us everywhere that we had missed. CHRISTIAN!!!! he went out of his way to make sure we got all the photos we wanted from our tour! He picked us up and took us everywhere. The sunset pics from the orange garden were stunning. We told him that's what we came for and he delivered!!!! He was safe and wonderful driver. Had a rough start as we waited half an hour after the pick-up time before we were updated that a driver was on the way. However, once Christian showed up, everything went really well. He loves the city and made the tour so much fun! Even with the late pick-up, I'd do the tour again

An absolutely lovely trip around Rome as the city was going dark. Alex was a chatty and friendly driver who spoke English very well and pointed out loads of interesting landmarks and their historical significance. He navigated the tiny back streets taking us to loads of highlights in our 2 hour tour. He stopped so we could get out and take some amazing pictures.

After site seeing for two full days, this was the perfect way to conclude our trip to Rome. Our guide, Christian, kept us entertained with historical facts as well as folklore. Since we had visited many of the well known sites in Rome, Christian took us to some places that most travelers overlook. The trip was truly unique to us as opposed to a bored tour guide droning on from a script. At the end, he took us to his favorite gelato place for the next gelato ever!

Our tour guide was Christian and he was super friendly and highly informative. Christian even booked a restaurant for us for after the tour. We visited all the historical places and learnt so much. I am so glad we did this tour on our first night as it set us up nicely for the rest of our stay in Rome. Five stars.
