The temple is situated in the middle of the small island on the artificial lake in Villa Borghese. At that time, in fact, reproductions of ancient temples and statues were realized as a decorative landscape feature. Enjoy to the utmost this romantic corner in Villa Borghese by renting a rowboat!
The inventor Giovan Battista Embriaco built this hydrochronometer (also known as a water clock) in 1867 and displayed it at the 1867 Universal Exposition in Paris. In 1873, the hydrochronometer was placed in the Villa Borghese gardens in a fountain designed by the architect Gioacchino Ersoch. The water clock works 24/7.

We brought a group of 40 high school students on a bike trip and we had a spectacular time. The staff was so supportive of everyone’s needs. They made safety, kindness, and fun as a top priority. I highly recommend this company, you will not be disappointed!!!
We completely enjoyed the bike tour with Giorgio. He was patient, kind, friendly, knowledgeable and spoke perfect English (he also does tours in Italian, French and Spanish). We ended up getting a private tour as there were no other guests (I thought the minimum for the group tour was 4, so we really lucked out to have Giorgio and a private tour). We had a few bumps in the trip, which Giorgio handled with grace. First, there was an international meeting being held in a building on the route, and the normal tour route needed to be adjusted. Second, one of our bikes got a flat tire. Giorgio gave his bike to my husband and rode the bike with the flat tire. Third, while my husband was riding Giorgio's bike, Giorgio's back pack fell off the bike, and it wasn'tniticed until we stopped for him to share some information with us. Giorgio had to retrace our route to retrieve it. Thank you for a wonderful day!
Alex was a terrific guide. This was a great morning activity and a fun way to see the park. Alex shared lots of Roman knowledge and navigated us through the park. It was a great break from walking 20,000 steps every day. Highly recommend!
Great fun! Ilenia was a great guide. Very engaging and let the kids enjoy the ebikws. Ebikes around the park made getting around so easy, you can enjoy the scenery and stories. Also loved the pit stop for gelato! Thanks Ilenia for a great experience.
Our guide, Manfredi, was THE best possible for us. He was very thoughtful for our needs and extremely knowledgeable of the sights we were seeing! He took as many pictures of us as we wanted. Our safety was a prime concern of his as he would explain our path to us if we were going near traffic areas. Another person in addition to Manfredi helped get our bikes prepared for us and he was very polite and helpful. Overall, we were very pleased with the bike tour and would recommend it to anyone desiring such an adventure!
Great day with Alberto. He was knowledgeable, fun, & charming. A MUST DO! We loved it and we loved Him! Beautiful villa and views of the city.
We had a fabulous time. Alberto was our guide and he was very knowledgeable about so many of the sites on the tour. We took many pictures and highly recommend the tour

This was our first activity upon arrival in Rome. Absolutely perfect! Our guide Alessio was truly one of the best we have ever experienced. He customized the tour for our preferences and ability level. He was fun, entertaining, very knowledgeable about the city, pointed out a lot of great details, and is a superb photographer! Highly recommended and makes us want to do more bike tours in the future.
Matteo was a great guide! The walk was not too difficult and very pleasant. He speaks French well and explains things well.
Everything was perfect, and a special mention to our guide LIBÉRONS for the knowledge he shared with us kindly and for the attention he paid to us. A very beautiful discovery of the garden and of this gentleman.
Great electric bike tour in the gardens of Villa Borghese. Thanks to our escort Mattéo!
A walk off the beaten track very informative and really pleasant. Giorgio, our guide, is extremely friendly, considerate and knows the history of the city very well. We definitely recommend.
Excellent walk with our guide Matteo Many small anecdotes have graced the great story
Ilenia was a fantastic guide!
An outdoor day with parents and children alternative and fun. An opportunity to discover the beautiful villas of Rome by pedaling with professional guides. There was also the "mechanic" ready to fix the bike in case of problems, as motorists have in races!
To begin with, we booked a tour, and we were very rightly recommended to change it to a simpler one, because we had not ridden a bike for years, and also, we had a 5-year-old girl in a seat. We were late due to public transportation, and still poor Alessandra waited for us at the meeting point with her best face, and not controlling the bike well with the chair attached for the girl, she offered to make the tour taking her to her. The tour was of Villa Borghese, beautiful and very charming. I was explaining the most interesting things about the place, and we were booked entrance to the Crypt of the Capuchins, a little visited place, but I totally recommend it, essential for its originality. In short, a very pleasant 3h journey, in very good company, that got short. If I returned to Rome I would repeat with them are doubt. A company with great people.
Nice, the bike rental is on the banks of the river. The two boys were very hard working and uncomplicated. We had the pleasure of taking the tour personally with one of the bosses. The bikes are in great condition and were fun from start to finish. We saw and learned a lot, even off the main routes. Tips for eating and other things included. We had a lot of fun and are thrilled! We can highly recommend bicycle-e 😍 Free & Tom from Austria
All perfect. Alberto an exceptional guide. A great way to get to know Rome. We visited the most important sites in Rome and he gave us very good directions.
I loved the bike tour of Rome that I did with my family. We participated 4 seniors and 2 adults and we all enjoyed it very much. Our guide Alberto was amazing, had a lot of patience and gave us a very nice and enjoyable tour, thank you so much! In short, I highly recommend it.
The experience is great! This makes it possible to discover Rome totally differently in one morning we did the park of the villa Borghese, the park of Savoy, the catacombs and passages in many different places of the city! Start over without hesitation!
Impeccable with Alberto who explained us some stories and also a little mythology. We had a Good Welcoming at Bicycle! To do
