Rome Sights By Segway Tour

Very informative tour- our guide was excellent- very friendly, she made us feel comfortable right away, she really knew her history. The virtual reality goggles at most stops was unexpected and a great addition to show us the sites as the are now and as they were then. Highly recommend!

This was an awesome trip. Bruno in the shop and Matt our guide were pleasant and made the event even more enjoyable. We were shown some sights we had not seen before in Rome

Excellent tour of the city with the added fun of being on a Segway. Our guide Nico was excellent, sharing his knowledge and history of the city. We got to see parts of the city that we would miss on foot. I would highly recommend.

Was a great start the tour guide was lovely so informative and I felt safe on the Segway but 15 mins into the tour we got pulled over by the police!! Who were extremely rude…. The tour guide dealt with the situation very well but unfortunately our tour came to an end ! We received a full refund no questions asked. Was such a shame as felt this would have been amazing….. very professional.

Tour guide was unfamiliar with tour information, and kept rambling off without any purpose. did not point at relevant parts of the tour, and rambled a lot about her personal politics. did not have a passion for the vatican

Great fun. It was SO hot though and busy which made it uncomfortable with the helmets on but id rather this than the walking tour. Got to go further out. Easy to use the segways, and the guide was lovely and patient. Recommend as a differnet way to see the city

This tour was a great way to see the city on our very first day. None of us had ever ridden a Segway before, but our guide did a wonderful job teaching us the ropes. Our main goal was to stay awake and alert after an overnight flight, and this ended up being the perfect outdoor option to beat the jet lag while sightseeing!

Liv was an excellent host, patient and knowledgeable. I was quite a nervous rider as it was my first time, but Liv helped me throughout. We learnt a lot about the history of buildings, fun facts, myths and stories. The addition of using a VAR headset to see how things used to be was an added bonus. It was a really fun way to see some of the main sites.

Love touring by Segway. Guide (Liv) was very patient with new riders and gave great historical account of each site we visited. She navigated us safely thru busy areas and let us explore a bit in areas of interest

This was my first time on a Segway, but we were given time to “learn the ropes.” It was fun, though sometimes a little scary, zipping around the streets of Rome. Our guide Shula, was knowledgeable as well as quite patient with us. We had a wonderful time!

Highly recommend. My 4th time in Rome, and 2nd time on Segway. À fun and easy way to see Rome and get you bearings. Our guide was amazing (Lauren, Lenore? sorry) She had sooo much information for us, her knowledge made our tour worth while. We stopped at placed we would not have otherwise seen, all the while riding fun Segway’s. Highly recommend and for your first day, as a touch on many places.

Shula was very knowledgable, once we got the hang of the Segway we headed off and visited lots of areas around Rome. We were able to stop off at the trevi fountain and soak up the atmosphere while Shula waited with the segways. At the end of the tour she gave us some recommendations for good restaurants which were much appreciates

We had a great Segway tour in Rome. The weather was beautiful and our tour guide Evelina was delightful. She was so knowledgeable and very passionate about sharing her knowledge. She also had a great sense of humor and a nice pacing to make the tour very memorable. We give this tour eleven out of ten stars!

A Segway is a great way to weave the streets, narrow alleys and piazzas of Times historic centre. They're easy to use and very safe. Add a fabulous guide and you have the perfect way to get introduced to key sites and the culture of Rome. Our guide, Stephan, was not only warm and friendly he was a passionate and knowledgeable guide who kept us engaged and entertained throughout the 2.5 hours of our tour. We did a city tour with Unlimited Biking the day we arrived and it definitely added a lot of texture to the rest of our stay remembering things Stephan had told us as we walked around the sights and piazzas. Highly recommended!

One of the best activities we did in Italy! Ilenia was an amazing guide! We learned so much about the history of the sites we toured. And seeing Rome by Segway enabled us to travel the entire city! Would totally recommend!!!

Absolutely fabulous chap called Mattia took our group on a 2.5 hour Segway Tour after giving us a comprehensive safety lesson. Great tour, very informative, well priced and great fun. Can’t recommend it highly enough. Topped off a great trip to Rome

We had a wonderful private tour (there was not enough room on the group one). Liv, our guide, was absolutely brilliant and so knowledgeable about Rome in general not just the sights we were visiting. She also gave us a brilliant lunch recommendation in the ghetto. This is our third Segway tour (Berlin and Paris) and was arguably the best because of Liv.

Our private Segway tour was worth every penny. Our guide Shula was so knowledgeable and was dedicated to giving us a five star experience. A great way to take in this beautiful city when you first arrive. The segways were super easy to ride and for a private guide we thought it was amazing value for money.

This was an amazing tour and so much better than I expected. I was a little nervous about driving a Segway but it’s actually really easy and so much fun. Daniel was an amazing guide with so much knowledge but also a great sense of humour and he made the whole experience fantastic. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone. Excellent instructor - Arvin, who took the time to ensure we were safe and confident with the Segways before we took off. Fat Tires Segway's staff are very friendly and kind. We had a blast doing the Segway. It was kind a scary at first when we were watching the safety video but as soon as we finished the training, we enjoyed it. Recommending to try Segway.

This is a perfect way to see Ancient Rome! Mateo, our guide, was simply amazing. He was knowledgeable, kind, patient, and flexible. We must have traveled 5-8 miles but on a Segway, it was effortless! We learned so much in our two-and-a-half hours together. This was easy on the feet, adventurous for the soul, and intriguing for the mind! Segway tours are the way to go!

Good tour. Saw just enough of the Vatican to satisfy. Audio system was not loud enough though, sometimes it was hard to hear what was being said.

What an awesome experience! When travelling walking all day can get a little exhausting so we opted to try the Segway tour and absolutely loved it!! It was such a fun way to explore some of the sights of Rome. Our guide Liv was so lovely, knowledgeable and interactive. Highly recommend!

Elaina was amazing. Wonderfully patient with us all getting to grips with the Segways. We all looked like pros within minutes. The VR element was a great unexpected layer that brought ruins of Rome to life. We all had do much fun - universally the highlight of the holiday.

Friendly knowledgeable guide with a touch of humour explained everything for the layman to understand. We were lucky enough to be the only people on the tour too. Other colleagues at Fat tyre tours office were friendly too and provided water and a clean restroom for use. Good Segway instruction before we set out. We really enjoyed our tour around the main sites with the added bonus of 3D effect viewing glasses to show how the ruins would have been which really helped to bring the guides commentary to life. Defo recommend.

What an amazing experience, going around Rome was a breeze and our guide was exceptional. We all had a great time and saw everything without the walking.

This ticket was a complete waste of money. The staff directed us to the normal queue so it was not even used

This Tour was conducted by Fat tire tours. Sarah our guide was very good in teaching us how to ride a segway and superbly guiding us through the streets of Rome while explaining the historical sites. She also gave us virtual tours using VR Mask when we stopped at historical sites. This is one of the most enjoyable tours.

This was a great tour to go on. We ended up being the only people so it felt like a private tour. The tour guide was so much fun and made us feel safe to ride the Segways. Was a fun way to see the sights, get some beautiful pictures and see the famous places without walking the whole day.

Due to being dumped on a corner by a dodgy taxi driver, and told it was up the road (it wasn't), I didn't make the scheduled time. A call on WhatsApp for directions, and a few minutes later, someone arrived on a bike and led me to the office. I was about 10 minutes late, but fortunately, they were showing people how to use a Segway. I had ridden one a number of times and quickly caught up. They were super helpful in getting me ready for the trip. They are not on the main road, so give yourself time to find the office. Mateo was the guide and did a great job. He was sure everyone was comfortable on the Segways before starting. They are really easy to use, and within about 10 minutes, driving around a small secluded area, everyone was confident enough to head off. The rest of the tour had never ridden one before. The tour was easy and informative. There are plenty of stops and lots of information. I recommend Segway as a first activity in any new city. It gives you an overview, and you can then decide what you want to explore and what you want to pass on. Walking up hills or finding your way around backstreets is not a problem on a Segway. I am 78 and find them a breeze, so don't let age slow you down.

Beyond fantastic! Perfect way to see the highlights of Rome, such a beautiful and BUSY city. Segway tours are phenomenal allowing u freedom of travel, ease and less wear in your feet lol
