We absolutely LOVED our guide, Clara. She took us to some hidden spots around the city, shared some great extra recommendations and helped us sample some of the best local food! Her questions for the kids were just right, and she kept a really good pace so we could stay on track.

Luca, I want to thank you for your kindness, your love for Rome, and your wonderful energy, which got our kids just as excited about our Italy vacation as we had hoped! For our first day in Rome, Luca gave us an amazing introduction to the city. His passion and enthusiasm made the whole day so enjoyable.
Luca was a fantastic guide and shared a wealth of historical insight along the way. He was wonderful with our two boys, aged 9 and 11, and kindly met us at our apartment, which made things so much easier in a new city. Luca brought us to spots we never would have come across on our own. By the end of the walk, we were completely in love with Rome.
This is an enjoyable and informative tour for all ages! Kids will love the scavenger hunt and adults will learn interesting Roman history and folklore. Tour guide Anamarija is phenomenal and terrific with children. Families don’t hesitate, sign up today!
This tour was exceptional, a highlight of our 2 weeks across Puglia and Rome. Anamarjia gave us a really strong indepth view of the city and it’s secrets. Moreover, her whismy and humour made it fun! My husband has been to Rome several times and even he said that he learned a ton. Our 7 year old enjoyed it greatly as well.
This was a wonderful activity for our family. We were a group that included grandparents, young children, and three adults. Our guide, Tito, was very flexible and adapted perfectly to everyone’s pace and the different needs of the group. Rome is already an incredible city, but this tour gave us the chance to discover it from a new perspective and appreciate details we might have missed on our own.
Our family of five, two adults and three children enjoyed the walking tour so much! It was engaging, entertaining and very educational! Well done!
A lot of fun for families as it includes a game, chocolate, pizza and gelato. Our guide was lovely and engaged all our family members. Could simplify the descriptions of sites visited and shorten the length of the tour as kids were wearing out.
Anamaria was great tour guide. We got to know a lot about some lesser known to us part of Rome. She was great engaging with our kids and was very flexible when we needed to take a slow down or have a little break. This tour was good learning for the adults and enjoyable for the kids. Highly recommend
Very good tour to see different things in Rome with kids. All family members will find something interesting for them.
We did this tour as a family the day we arrived to beat our jetlag. It was fun and informative. Kept our kids engaged and happy.
Without a doubt the greatest experience we had in Rome. Valentina was incredibly lively and extremely well-informed. She connected with the children from the start and shaped everything around their interests, which gave me time to take the photos I wanted without keeping them busy. I strongly suggest families reserve this tour — it is absolutely worth it!
We absolutely loved our guide, Chiara. She led us to hidden corners around Rome, shared helpful local tips, and helped us sample some of the city’s best food along the way. Her questions for the kids were thoughtful, and she kept a steady pace that worked perfectly for our group. We tasted gelato, pizza, supplì, coffee cream, cheese, and pesto, and she even gave the children little things to look out for as we walked. Such a fun and well-organized experience.
Bea was truly outstanding! We had three young children with us, and she made certain each of them felt involved and delighted throughout the tour. Despite our jet lag, she managed to captivate the little ones and keep the experience lively and enjoyable. I would absolutely endorse this tour — it was engaging, thoughtful, and perfectly suited for families!
Elisabetta was fantastic! We had three young kids with us (10, 6, and 4), and she made sure to include them all. Even though we were super jet lagged, she kept the kids engaged and made everything fun! The games, treasure hunts, and stops for pizza, chocolates, and gelato kept everyone happy while we learned about ancient Rome. I would absolutely recommend this tour to any family visiting the city!
We can’t thank Luca enough for such a wonderful tour of Rome. My daughters, ages 7 and 8, absolutely loved it! It was their first visit to the city, and in just three hours, they saw and learned so much. I was amazed by how much we managed to cover in one afternoon. Luca knows Rome inside out and was incredibly kind and patient with our girls. I would absolutely recommend this tour!
This tour turned out to be such a fantastic experience for my whole family. We had grandparents, kids under ten, and three adults in our group, and Valentina managed to keep everyone engaged at just the right pace. The places we visited were fascinating, and she explained everything in a way that kept the children curious and entertained. After a long, warm day in Rome, she even helped us find a great café where we could cool down and recharge with refreshing drinks. Truly a memorable outing—we’d recommend it to any family!
We can’t thank Luca enough for such a fantastic tour of Rome. My daughters, ages 7 and 8, had a blast—it was their very first time in the city and in only three hours they absorbed so much! I was amazed at how much we managed to see in just one afternoon. Luca’s deep knowledge of Rome shone through, and his kindness with our girls made the experience even more special. I’d wholeheartedly recommend this tour!
Very good tour and Very knowledgeable. Easy pace and good at entertaining diverse group. We really enjoyed
Without a doubt, the best tour we experienced in Rome. Giulia was engaging, full of knowledge, and kept the kids involved the entire time. She made it all about them, giving me the chance to capture photos of what I wanted without needing to keep them entertained. Highly recommend this tour for families — it’s absolutely worth it!
Clara’s tour became one of the best parts of our trip. We gained a wealth of knowledge about the city and felt completely at ease with her. Time passed quickly, and our kids were really involved, excitedly sharing facts with their grandparents afterward. Without a doubt, it was the best investment we made. If we return to Rome, we’ll certainly book another tour with Clara.
We were a bit nervous doing a tour with young kids (ours are 7, 5, and 2), but this ended up being one of the best parts of our trip. Rocco made sure everyone felt included and somehow kept the kids entertained even though we were all jet lagged. There were stories, games, and little breaks that made everything flow naturally. It was relaxed, fun, and just the right amount of info without overwhelming anyone.
This tour was such a fun way to explore Rome with kids. Our guide kept them engaged with games and little surprises along the way—plus plenty of pizza and gelato! We also got to learn a lot and see some unique spots we wouldn’t have found on our own. Definitely a highlight of our trip.
This was a terrific tour for our group ranging in age from 5 to 62. Everyone enjoyed it! Great for kids as it was engaging and fun.
Tour guide was very pleasant however this tour was not geared to the kids. I expected the children, ages 9 and 5, to be engaged throughout the tour but they weren't. As well, the scavenger hunt prizes were pretty lame and repetitive. Definitely room for improvement.
From the moment we met our private host, Juli, it was clear this experience would be something special. Our host was not only knowledgeable but incredibly engaging, bringing ancient Rome to life with fascinating stories and games that kept our two children entertained and educated throughout the tour. It was a hot day so the highlight for our kids was undoubtedly the nasoni drinking fountains but the treasure hunt kept them excited to eagerly explore each site as they searched for clues and solved puzzles with the help of our enthusiastic guide. As parents, we appreciated the thoughtful touches that made this tour so family-friendly. From the nasoni breaks to ensure our little ones had time to cool off, to insider tips from our host on the best places to eat and explore in Rome, every detail was carefully planned to make our visit enjoyable and stress-free. And let's not forget the chocolate and pizza that added an extra layer of cultural immersion to our adventure. Overall, the Bella Roma! Funny Family Private Tour exceeded our expectations in every way. It not only provided a comprehensive overview of Rome's history and art but did so in a way that resonated deeply with our children. By the end of the tour, our kids were buzzing with excitement, eager to share their newfound knowledge and experiences. If you're looking for a family-friendly way to explore Rome that combines education, entertainment, and food, look no further than this exceptional tour. It's an experience we'll cherish for years to come, thanks to our wonderful host, Juli, who made ancient Rome come alive for our entire family. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Rome with kids!
Luca our tour guide did such a great job, she was so engaging with our children!! They had fun learning history, my husband and myself could not believe our eyes. Rome is amazing but Luca was our biggest surprise on this tour.
I would absolutely recommend this private tour to all families with children who want to discover Rome in a curious way, while the children play a peculiar "treasure hunt", parents learn about the history of ancient Rome. The guide, Mr. Paolo, was very nice and managed to make us spend three very pleasant hours - a must!
Booked this through GetYourGuide in July for 15th August. Booking confirmed. Received an email from the tour provider saying they could not do that day and offering me the day before or day after. I chose the day after (16th). That did not happen either, as got a message from a guide saying he was not available until the 17th (the day we were leaving). GetYourGuide and the tour operator obviously were not communicating at all - GetYourGuide quite happy to take my money though. After hours of my short holiday in Rome trying to sort this mess out, I managed to get GetYourGuide to agree to refund me in full because they could not fulfill their contract with me. Shocking. Will never book through GetYourGuide again, as they seem totally disorgtanised.
perfect way to see the little corners of Rome with the help of an experienced gide. children like it also for the snacks they can enjoy at the best local foodstores, with a nice Otaleg at the end :)
Very interesting and exciting tour, different from the usual organized tours! The guide Massimo was able to interest an almost teenager and a 4 year old girl at the same time with great skill and introduced us to many aspects and curiosities of Rome that we were unaware of! The 3 hours really flew by even though we walked far and wide through ancient Rome for both them and us! Super highly recommended!!
