Rome Highlights Half-day Tour

My tour was changed at the last minute from the afternoon tour to the evening tour because I was the only one scheduled in the afternoon. When I got on for the evening tour, it ended up. I was the only one on for that tour. My driver Giuseppe was excellent. Unfortunately, on the evening tour I did not get to see all of the things that were listed on the tour I signed up for. We did not go to the Spanish steps or a couple of the plaza. Saint Peter Square was closed so there were some disappointments. Also many landmarks that we passed were so dark I could not take pictures. I did of course get a dinner that I wasn’t scheduled to have and it was delicious. In retrospect, I would have rather done the afternoon tour. I think I would have seen more, which was the point of my scheduling. I would recommend the tour but not the evening tour.

We were taken to every site we wanted to see. Our driver took us to some "out of the way" spots most tourists don't visit. I wanted to walk on the Appian Way, and he took us to a spot where the original stones still there. He also took us to a beautiful park in the shadow of an aqueduct. A great 4 hours with a pleasant and knowledgeable driver.

Roberto gave us an excellent tour of Rome! He was very knowledgeable about the history and facts of all the sites in the city! The tour included a wonderful dinner and great gelato for dessert! We would highly recommend.y recommend this tour to anyone with a short amount of time in Rome! It included many of the popular sites! It is definitely the way to go! Thanks Roberto!

The tour guide picked us on time. Only two of us were on the tour. The guide covered the sites we wanted to see.

Orange garden and Vatican City were beautiful. Colosseum from outside too. Wish our guide had given us more insights or flavor. To call this a tour is a stretch.

This was a wonderful tour of Rome. Luigi took us to all of the major sights. He was knowledgeable, efficient, and made the four hours fly by. The company was very nice. They had asked us to change the day or time of our tour. We were unable to do so and they provided us with a private tour.

Seeing the important points in Rome in four hours. I wish that It could have been longer The tour guide was also an excellent driver to maneuver her van through the crowds of people and the congested traffic

Gabriel was a great tour guide. He was very accommodating. I am grateful for the hotel pickup. Gabriel gave us some great history and I know a lot about the hills of Rome. The van was very clean and well kept.

The food was good but would have preferred to do the tour in the afternoon as originally booked rather than the evening

We had no clue when the driver was arriving and e had to track him down we called the helpline they were useless... we found the driver ourselves ... he was excellent very accommodating and polite

Hi. Our guide was extremely nice. But, he had a significant language barrier, and seemingly not a lot of knowledge. Therefore, we learned little to nothing. He was more like a nice taxi driver. No stories or much history beyond the minimal.

Rome sights by night were beautiful. Even saw a marriage proposal at the trevi fountain. Fantastic food and our tour guide/driver Alberto was excellent. Would highly recommend this trip

Amira, our tour guide, was absolutely fabulous, providing a perfect ending - a wonderful half-day tour of Rome - to our Italian vacation on our last full day in Rome. She was fully prepared, with guides, photo albums, maps of the numerous sites of the tour. Her encyclopedic knowledge extended her explanations as well with humor, including her inside jokes on a Roman massage & mosquitos. An ESSENTIAL TOUR.

Great tour of Rome by Amira! She was knowledgeable and she knew all the back routes to all of the most important locations.

It was good seeing the sites around Rome. Our driver did a good job navigating through the crowded streets.

Rude tour guide. She was complaining about everything and everyone. I know it is hard to run through places in rush hour but it is important to be cordial to people. Especially a great group of 6 people.

For someone who can’t do a lot of walking this was perfect. We saw so much of the city. Also our pickup at our hotel was wonderful

This was a good tour, and it was as it was detailed in the description, save the fact our driver spoke little to no English. He did take us to the highlights, and he did a great job driving in crazy traffic and crowds, but he could offer little to no explanation of what we were seeing.

A 4-hour driving visit to several major tourist highlights was always going to involve compromises in terms of depth and time. Our driver made a supreme effort to gain proximity to many sites and through narration and pictures endeavored to explain their context. Rome driving can be harrowing for the experienced. It's good to leave the driving to professional people like our guide.

seeing the colosseum has always been a dream of mine and it didn't disappoint. Our guide really knew her stuff and took the time to tell us all about the history of Rome.

Alberto was our private tour guide. He really knew how to navigate through the streets of Rome and we were able to see very exciting sites. we were able to get the most memorable pictures. Unforgettable visit to Rome.

The Basilica St Pietro in Vincoli was beautiful inside! Loved seeing the famous sites that are world famous: Colosseum, Forum (it would have been nice to stop briefly to take a photo from the side of the road, those photos driving by did not turn out well), Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain (these both were packed with tourists, not your fault!), the Parthenon. Seeing St Peter’s Square and Basilica was also special! The view from the top of Gianicolo was great! We basically only had one full day in Rome before our cruise, and I feel happy to have seen what we visited

Amira was the perfect tour guide. She arrived on time and welcomed us to Rome. She was extremely knowledgeable regarding the history of the city, and provided a clean, well air-conditioned, and safe drive throughout the area. She was entertaining and had a great sense of humor, and transported us from attraction to attraction efficiently. Amira made the tour a quick, easy, and fun way to see the main attractions of Rome and we enjoyed our time seeing the beautiful city!

Our driver Alberto was fantastic he showed us so many places, I thought I knew some of the history but he was so much more knowledgeable of the history I learned so much, a very enjoyable experience. Will definitely like to tour with him again

Alberto was great. Very nice and informative. Would defiantly recommend him and do it again. Good diver in a very busy Rome. We got to see St Peters Bacilica.

Very informative tour and an engaging guide. Due to the passengers o terrible parking situation, the guide gave a brief overview of the upcoming site and then stayed in the van while the passengers went to the site and explored it and then returned to the van after 15-20 minutes. The sites covered hit manty of the top attractions. The guide recommended having gelato 3 times a day while in Rome, so she was my kind of gal from the get go.

Amira was a fantastic tour guide for our half day tour of Rome today! She collected us from our hotel on time, was very knowledgeable about all things Rome related, happy to answer our questions and took her time with our group as we had a more mature couple with us. We believe she also does a Rome at Night tour with dinner/gelato etc…that’ll be one for next time (I tossed my coin in the Trevi Fountain…that means I’ll be back for sure!). We’ll done Amira! 🥰

Shared van with very nice family and saw many sights such as Spanish steps and trevi fountain. Unique set up with guide on scooter and separate driver. A /C was very welcomed. A bit expensive but we enjoyed an overall view of rome.
