Rome Half Day Private Tour: Colosseum, Trevi & Pantheon

This is a scam 650 dollars for a drive 200m to the colleseum. There is no "private tour" this is a super computer expensive Uber with some who can bearly speak English.

We had an amazing driver. We had kids with us and he was very patient. Everyone had fun.

Adrian was fantastic. He took us to the all the places we wanted to and more. He was very knowledgeable, got into areas that we thought would be impossible and was very personable with the whole family.

Handy to order and they waited for us. When we were late from the airport. The app is very easy to use and the drivers are very friendly.

Pleasant vehicle and knowledgeable guide. Got us close to all the sites of interest. Volunteered to return us to our cruise ship.

Georgio was awesome and we so enjoyed the tour! He gave us a great overview of the city so we could appreciate the next day when we took in depth tours.

Gaber was so nice and took us to see all the highlights of Rome without the hassle of taxis buses and crowds. His car was very clean and easily accommodated four adults Drop off and pick up was especially wonderful! He also took us to less known gems of Rome and gave us ideas of other places we may be interested in. It’s a nice overview of Rome, even though we had been there before! Highly recommend Gaber Hussein!

Knowledgeable guide and many sights visited made for an enjoyable journey through time and place. Sean’s consideration of our age and health challenges made for a happy day. Gelato stops were an added pleasure.

This was a wonderful way to get an overview and see the top sights of Rome. We had limited time to see the sights of Rome, and this was a great way to maximize our time. The tour guide was great and showed us so many places while we were with him - the best places for pictures and many interesting bits of history.

Thought I had booked an actual tour but instead this was more of a private driver that took us to the main tourist sites in Rome. July is always hot in Rome and so it was nice to have an AC car driving us around. If you are looking for a tour with some content being shared this is not it.

Visiting Rome’s most historic places and more with a private tour makes a big difference if you can’t or don’t want to take a tour that will have the tourists walking and standing for a very long time. This 4 hour tour was perfect for all of us over 65. Additionally our driver/guide was not only the best driver in Tome but he was considerate, patient and full of stories about the city and the cultural history that makes Rome. We were sad to find out that our tour was canceled. We were waiting for our driver and I happened to look at my email and saw that an email had been sent. There was no phone call or text. I was charged and am still waiting for a credit.

We only had 1 day to see Rome before going on our cruise. Our guide picked us up from our hotel and our tour personalized for the two of us. Thanks to our guide we were able to see everything on our list. We would have never have otherwise seen everything on our own with our time constraints.

With so little time to spend in Rome I was worried that we would not be able to see very much. Our driver made sure that we saw as much as possible and made it a very relaxed and pleasant experience. He was so knowledgeable and had so many interesting stories t share. Thank you! We had a great time!

Horrible experience. Booked this tour to sight see a little before heading to the airport in Rome. Booked and paid for this and got an email later the night before pick up that they could not get us at our destination. Even though I wrote it in the notes where we needed to be picked up at the port and sent 3 messages about this making sure it was ok well in advance. Tried calling the company and could not get through. Viator was also no help. Contacted them on whats app for hours going back and forth and they kept telling me nothing could be done and no credit or refund would be made since THEY decided they could not pick us up within the 24 cancellation period. Insane! No messages of apology or anything. They never even confirmed they would not be getting us. They just never showed up and left 2 adults and our 2 young children stranded with our luggage in Rome., but still charged us for the service they never performed. Horrible service and even worse customer service. Stay away!

I tried to book on a Saturday a tour for the Monday (two days later). I advised the pickup location 24 hours in advance. I was advised 8 minutes before the pickup time on the Monday that tour was cancelled/not driver was available.

I had booked this tour weeks in advance and they canceled on me while I was in the air flying to Rome only 12 hours before we were supposed to have the tour. DON’T BOOK WITH THEM.

Although booked two weeks in advance this tour was canceled day off. Now we’re fighting for a refund. Unbelievable

The driver never showed up for our tour. We tried numerous times to reach the company but they were no help whatsoever.

Our driver was very knowledgeable and courteous! He was excellent at finding close parking so my husband with back issues did not have to walk far. It was much appreciated!

Excellent! Definitely the way to go. Saw all the highlights. The amazing driver absolutely knew how to get around the incredible crowds( there happened to be a Race for the Cure event going on, and the place was jammed!). We saw everything we hoped for and more. We’re able to get out close to each venue and he was magically at the agreed upon pick up point each time we arrived. Definitely worth every penny od the cost.

We had a wonderful tour of Rome with Sean. He was friendly and knowledgeable of the history of Rome. He drove us around in his immaculately clean BMW with patience and kindness. We would highly recommend him to anyone.

Fantastic quick tour of Rome. If you don’t have days to spend in Rome, this tour will get you to the highlights. You don’t go inside the locations, but Mr, Gaber Hussien gets you up close and personal with the sites. Driving in Rome is an adventure and Gaber handled the traffic like the pro he is. This half-day private tour was a great way to see Rome on a limited time schedule. We had time to stop, view and take photos. If we wanted more time on a particular stop - we just asked. It was up to us, however our driver had great recommendations.

We always enjoy going around the whole city rather than just the tourist spots. This tour accomplished that as we saw not just the tourist spots but also neighborhoods and areas that were off the beaten path. It gave us more of the flavor of the whole of Rome!! Lastly, Our tour guide was very friendly, helpful, and professional.

Guide was on time made contact a few days previous to your. He was friendly and knowledgeable. Saw many important sites. Wish he would have joined us instead of just dropping us off. Sometimes we didn’t know where to go or exactly what we were looking at.

Perfect half day trip to center Rome with this private tour, Gaber was very generous with times and the sites we preferred to visit. Since we had the tour on Sunday, Gaber suggested we go to the benediction of the Pope at the Vatican. We were moved by the ceremony.

Our tickets were booked and at the last minute (in fact while we were waiting for the driver), learned that he was not coming. I was charged for the tour, completed the form that provided the hotel details, names in our group, and the tour was canceled without even getting an email to let me know. I finally got a rep on the phone in the hotel lobby who apologized and said we would get a refund. Well then we had to scramble to get another tour operator to take us and they did in half an hour. So we are very unhappy with the service. Our friends Viator tour was also canceled the next day due to overbooking issues after they had purchased tickets weeks ago. So I will not be using Viator again after these two major disappointments.

Claudio was great. Very entertaining, knowledgeable and accommodating…well worth the time. The tour consisted of everything listed and more, private car made it nice by avoiding crowd and relaxing.

We only had 4 hours before our train to naples and we were able to see all of Rome! Very historical and informative tour!

Andrea, our guide, was so nice during our tour. He let us explore as long as we wanted, took us to unique places, and was very conversational. I don't think we would have seen all the sites without this tour and gave us a great way to see what we wanted to return to.

Tour operator no showed! When called he claimed he let the service know his vehicle was not running the previous day, however we had ZERO communication from anyone until I called the tour operator directly when they were 15 minutes late. This was the very first day of our honeymoon and we were only in Rome for the day. We had been in town since 10am and we’re waiting for this 2pm tour to see the sites. Had we known, we could have made other arrangements. To add insult to injury, Viator customer service told us the refund was a “token courtesy” 🤬 Uh, no…you didn’t provide the service as contracted. Very disappointed with Viator and the tour operator

Saw all the popular sites. Our driver knew all the good spots. I am very tired and am taking the time to do this I don’t have anything more to say

Had the unique opportunity to tour Rome with Gaber today before heading up to Perugia. Overall, we packed a lot in afternoon. Highlights were Vatican City, knights of Malta keyhole, coliseum, and Trevi fountain. Gaber was a great host, provided cold water to drink and had air conditioning; a bonus on a hot Roman summers day. Bene grazie Gaber!

What a great day we had….. All thanks to dear Claudio…. A great human being, down to earth, humble , very helpful…. Guided us and covered almost all the important places…gave us ample time and took some wonderful pics….. It was a hot sunny day and the only hassle was that his A/C was not working properly…but he compensated that with his jovial personality and sense of humour…. A must trip to take if you need to cover all the places in a short time…😊

Omg….if you don’t book Claudio then you WILL NOT be getting THE BEST guide in Rome!!! I could stop there, but I won’t. Claudio was super attentive. He text ABC’s call prior to the tour to confirm arrangements. He is very knowledgeable about the history. He has a wonderfully upbeat personality/spirit. He showed us the sights AND the best local cafe EVER. He was more like a host than a tour guide. He also took wonderful pics of our family at key sites. He seemed to care about and be invested in our family seeing the major site’s and explaining the history behind these sites. I would 20/10 recommend this adventure. (HINT: That’s an off the charts recommendation)
