Rome Golf Cart Food And Sightseeing Tour

Peter did a great job driving and talking to us about the sights. He did not rush us. It was great!@@

Guide was wonderful, but otherwise, this tour was a disappointment. We signed up for a golf card FOOD and sightseeing tour, and the food aspect fell short.......two of the stops served us pizza! The first place for pizza was fine, but let's be real, you can easily find good pizza literally everywhere in Rome. The second stop was to be for pasta, but there was no pasta that night - seems as though the tour did not know that. So - we had more pizza. Yes, the pizza was good. No - we did not need to spend over $500 for 4 people to eat pizza, have a coffee, have gelato......again, no complaints aout the guide - he tried to make it special with his conversation. I try to only write positive reviews; wrote the tour operator with my concerns and heard nothing. So - choose another tour group for a food tour - don't waste your money here.

Excellent tour with Augusto! The food was more than enough- we were stuffed by the end! (But always room for gelato!) Augusto was a great guide, very knowledgeable and I felt safe with him even in the crazy Rome traffic! Highly recommend. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

So fun! Pietro was hands down the best guide ever! He took time to learn about what might interest us at each site. We learned so much and laughed a lot too! Food was a mixture of tourist sites and more off the beaten path and we loved it all.

Overall we found this tour quite overpriced and disappointed it did not follow the itinerary. Our tour started at 4:30 so we were expecting a Spritz at our first stop as noted in the itinerary, we were denied the Spritz and given a coffee and pastry. After getting back in the golf cart the guide said the next stop was for pizza and Suppli, I asked about driving by Castel Sant’Angelo and stopping in St Peter’s square and the guide said after the pizza and Suppli we would drive by the Castel and drive by St. Peter’s Square, I told him the itinerary said a 15 minute stop at St. Peter’s Square. He agreed to stop but only for a couple minutes, told us we had to quickly take some pictures. From there we went for dinner and a glass of wine followed by a stop for gelato. We didn’t stop at the Peroni store, he told us it was closed, then when we drove past it he said it only sold clothing now and we could stop if we wanted, we declined since it no longer gives you the story about the brand as described in the itinerary. We didn’t stop at Fontana dell’Acqua Paola or even drive past it and didn’t drive past the Piazza Venezia. All the food was very tasty but I did not find this tour worth the almost $400 Canadian dollars that we paid.

Manuel was our fabulous tour guide. We had the luxury of getting a private tour. Started with breakfast, had some local pastries- bomba accompanied with cappuccino. Followed with quick pizza bites (favorite was the one with potato topping), suppli at Eroi Della Pizza. Had lunch at Dar Poeta. Finished the tour with gelato at Otaleg! Thank you Manuel for making our food tour a great experience.

The tour was exceptional. We got see all the sites we haven’t seen, as well taste all the best food of Rome. Pizza, pasta , suppli and ice cream. The Suppli was amazing. Andy was very knowledgeable and personable and which made for a great experience.

Emrio (spelling?) Was kind, thoughtful and provided an interesting tour through Rome! I would recommend. He brought us to old traditional spot, pointing out others!

The guide was very good. He was was funny and knowledgeable. He called prior to confirm the pick up location and was on time. The food was also delicious.

Daniel, our tour guide, was incredibly knowledgeable and passionate — he shared fascinating history about the sights, neighborhoods, and the background of the food we tried along the way. Every stop was thoughtfully chosen, and the food was absolutely amazing. This is hands down the best way to get to know Rome — through its flavors, culture, and stories. Highly recommended!

Driver never showed and after telling us that they were experiencing issues after waiting over 30 min they didn't even respond about a refund until we contacted Viator to complain. Still awaiting a refund and terrible communication especially traveling in hot weather with small children.

AMAZING tour! Our tour guide, Dani, was awesome, took us to all the good spots and was very personable. He even helped me out of a sticky situation I was in later in the day. Amazing food and people!

Our tour guide Daniel, was very kind. He made sure to talk close, loud and slow for my father who is hard of hearing. All of the places we visited for drink and food were delicious and had very friendly service. Daniel was informative, professional, funny and friendly. We highly recommend Daniel, luxurbe company, and a golf cart tour.
