For a tour guide Alessandro is the main man. Brilliant tour. Catacombs is extremely interesting.
The expérience was very unique. Makes you imagine how Christians had to make extreme measures during persecution and had to dig down.
Giorgia was super helpful in n setting up all of our tours and activities. Made everything very simple and was much appreciated
So many options but they are not easy to find or get to. The items that require advance booking were very difficult or impossible to complete in advance
Giorgia was very helpful with suggestions and clear about instructions. Made selecting activities much easier.
Alessandro was absolutely the best tour guide I have ever had, very informative and lots of personality!
Our bus driver, Alessandro, went above and beyond to share his love of his hometown and knowledge of the history of the area. I highly recommend this excursion.
Alesandro was amazing! His trip to/from the Catacombs was fun and educational!
Beware !! For most attractions even if you book via the app you still have to present at various tourist offices to collect tickets and can’t do all at one office. The coloseum tour is misleading we booked 2pm entry but this actually meant we had to be at the office at 1pm watch a video , do the forum then a 515pm entry to the coloseum. We had booked the pantheon at 5pm and told the person at the desk we had the coloseum at 2pm and she still booked us. This meant we missed the pantheon. The offices aren’t easy to find so it wastes time. Disappointing Get Your Guide is better!
Absolutely worth the $$$ ! Way to use and friendly staff at every check in location. Highly recommend ! Glad we visited in late March the weather was perfect and not yet peak season so the crowds were lower than normal! We did 7 excursions in Rome in 6 days Colosseum St Peter’s Vatican / Sistine Chapel Pasta Making Class Pizza Making Class Catacombs tour All for $200 each you can’t beat it!!!
I was helped by Michelle at the Touristation office. She was SO wonderfully helpful, informative and patient. She smiled the whole time we wish we could give her 10 stars!
Excellent experience! They helped me plan all my tours and gave me all the information that I needed. Would definitely recommend for everyone that’s visiting Rome.
Amanda is a star! She helped us in everything. Her assistance has been Key. Thanks Amanda and Verónica! We will be back for sure
I had booked the 3 attractions with Go City pass company TOURISTATION ARACOELI. Popular attraction need to reserve in advance and you will receive QR code. QR code doesn’t count as attractions entry. You still need to go to the office to claim it. It was waste of the time. We booked Colosseum and the office we went to claim our tickets was unorganized. It took us almost an hour to get our ticket. After tickets claimed one of tour guide took you to the entrance and still you line up with other tour groups with long line. Let’s say your ticket slot is @ 11 am and you won’t get in the attraction until 12:30 pm. Second attraction was Vatican and Sistine Chapel. This office is much worse and all ladies in there are pretty face with bad attitudes and rude with no customer service skill. Since we have had bad experience in first office to pick up the tickets so we went 2 hrs in advance to the office (need to claim in different office) to get our tickets. We had 4 families and booked it separate reservations for same slot. She gave one of the family the tickets and gave instructions how to get to entrance. You can enter the chapel 15 mins early or 15 mins after you time slot. Once my friend received the tickets and left then rest of 3 families started to claim the tickets and some how she said they had to guide us to the line and held our tickets. Asked us to come back at 2 pm get tickets. We told her what is the difference that you gave one of our friends the tickets and that we had book the same exact reservation that they had. She kept insisting that the had to take us to entrance. She had asked my friend with the tickets to come back. Somehow my friend left and not returned the tickets. It was a lie that we need guide to get in line. For my friend with tickets she got into chapel 15 mins early and get in at 2 pm but us got inside @2:45 with skip a line guide - guide only take you to entrance and you on your own once inside. Our time was wasted. My point is that it was ridicules of their skip a line ticket with guide took us 45 min to get in. If you have your ticket you can just get in. So beware when you book with this Go City pass company. The other attraction was hop on hop off bus. No reservation needed so QR scan works.
I got wonderful assistance with the ladies Sofia and Giorgia. They spend a lot of time to help me schedule my activity. Really appreciate their help. All the guests will feel the hospitals here.
Mira was very helpful organising our plans and also at Navona Square there is so much to see (December - Christmas markets!)
Mira was exceptionally helpful and knowledgeable. All our outings were booked with ease and she was able to include our travel times and waiting times. Outstanding service
The experience was amazing. Sofia is very polite, helpful, and always willing to assist. She’s very cheerful and extremely pleasant to deal with
Great tour, super informative. Great for the city history and monuments understanding. Claudia is our kinda woman!!!!!!!!!!
Purchased the Rome City Pass in advance of going. We went for the 6 activities pass. A really extensive list of things to do & book in advance. Booked the St Peter's Basilica tour for the first day......got an email 48 hours before arriving saying that this tour had been cancelled. Had already booked the Vatican Museum tour & the Colosseum in advance. A lot of the experiences on their website & app showed prices that once you looked online were not the prices you would pay when actually there. For example, the Santa Maria Maggiore Basilica activity is quoted as 32 Euros per person, when in fact it is totally free!!! Went to their main office & the girl there was very helpful. The best activities we did were the Catacombs tour & the Trevi Fountain underground tour. On looking back, was it worth the money.....not really. You're better off pre-booking the biggies as in the Vatican Musuem & Colosseum & just pay (although quite a few of the activities are free) on the day. All in all, not worth the money spent which is a shame.
Claudia was the best tour guide of my holiday so far, for this short but informative tour she was entertaining and really nice!! I would recommend her to anyone.
Claudia was really good, informative and quite funny. She was a great guide. She was patient when we were walking through the crowds. She always gave us tips and guide on how to walk about and where to go for certain things. Really great.
Alessandro was so fun! He is passionate about his city. His enthusiasm is catchy. You will not be bored riding with him. We came away with lots of Biblical and historical information.
Very moving to see the catacombs. Our bus driver Alessandro was amazing. Gave us all books of the sights we were driving g by and he stopped to explain even though he wanted a guide. He should be.
It was a great, informative, and passionate tour. The tour guide was amazing, very informative, and told us hidden things not many people know. It felt good listening to him, as he had so much passion for his home city.

Wonderful tour of the city with Claudia! We saw many highlights and learned so much about Rome. Recommend early on your trip to Rome.
I had a few problems with timings for venues. The staff at Touristation were extremely helpful. They were able to reorganise my trip that I missed out on due to an oversight on my part. In particular I would like to thank Virginia and Jessica for going above and beyond helping me to achieve all I had hoped to before having to return home. Very friendly, helpful and made my holiday. Thank you so much! 😊
Had a fantastic experience with Marcella - incredibly helpful to organize all the best places to visit, and all of the hidden gems in the city. Highly highly recommend!
Julia was very helpful explaining our tour and getting us signed in. This was reassuring because things have been a bit confusing over the past couple of days.
The process was smooth and the service was well. Michelle P. was very helpful with providing information with the booking and the tour!
Excellent so incredibly helpful especially Grazia who is so helpful & kind. I would highly recommend using this service.
Very nice experience, our driver Allessandro told us a lot of interessting historical details. So, the drive to the catacombs is an event in itself. The Visit of the catacombs is very intressting, but last only shorthly longer than 30 min.
Alessandro was really handsome and funny, he had a lot of interesting facts for the ride to the catacombs. The catacombs are really interesting. The tour was short but had a lot of information. Very well organized!
greatest driver - not just driving - loves what he does - will be a sweet memory - very kind - nice energy - the born Roman! <3
Gracie Mille Alessandro! Very good experience outside the city! We saw a lot of wonderfully sites outside the city and with a lot of explanations. (In French)
Amazing experience. Alessandro was absolutely wonderful! Great trip outside the crowded center. The drive was scenic and the catacomb was a unique experience.
Alessandro was absolutely fantastic! From the moment we got on the bus to the catacombs, he kept us entertained with his humor, charm, and fascinating stories. He was not only knowledgeable, but also warm, funny, and engaging – the perfect guide who made the whole experience unforgettable. I would recommend Alessandro to absolutely everyone visiting Rome. He truly made the tour exceptional!
Alessandro was a wonderful driver. His enthusiasm and knowledge of the city was so engaging and his love for the city of Rome obvious. We were privileged to have a private tour. He provided us with a prepared handout on the sights we would see along with an audio guide. We highly recommend taking his tour of the ancient Appian Way and the Catacombs.
