Itinerary
Step into a real Roman kitchen for a hands-on class where you'll learn to make two Italian classics from scratch: fresh pasta and creamy tiramisu, guided the whole way by a local expert chef. This class is a Tripadvisor Travelers' Choice Best of the Best 2026 winner, placing it among the top 1% of food experiences worldwide. You'll start with the tiramisu, then set it aside to chill while you move on to the pasta. Your chef will guide you through shaping, rolling, kneading, and cutting your own dough by hand into fresh fettuccine. Once your pasta is shaped, you'll cook it in your choice of two classic sauces: carbonara or cacio e pepe. As you cook, your chef will share the history and secrets of Italian cuisine, all in a small, intimate group setting. Throughout the class, you'll enjoy traditional Italian drinks: 2 glasses of prosecco, 2 glasses of wine, and a shot of limoncello to finish, with non-alcoholic options available too. Once the cooking's done, sit down with your chef and fellow travelers to enjoy the fresh pasta and tiramisu you made together. Before you leave, you'll receive a free recipe e-book so you can recreate both dishes back home.

Angela was brilliant, so funny and friendly, she made the experience so much better. Highly recommend it to anyone.
Huge thank you to Monica and Mary for the most fantastic experience making pizza and tiramisu! Monica was so friendly, helpful and knowledgeable and we all had so much fun. An 18th birthday that my daughter will never forget! Grazie mille 😊🍕
What an amazing experience … we had a very small group of 6, so it felt like we had almost one on one interaction and Mary was an excellent hostess. The pasta and sauce was delicious and the tiramisu was delightful. I would 100% recommend.
We had a great time! Was looking for somewhere family friendly but not too kiddy as my children are 13 and 18 yrs old. Nava was super sociable and friendly and along with mahrab, the event ran very smoothly. Fun and big portions of food at the end - come hungry! Can't wait to try it out again back at home
Really good class led by Gaia and Eddie. Amazing tiramisu and pasta. Would really recommend to anyone visiting Rome.
Fantastic mother and daughter afternoon. Chef/guide very welcoming and attentive with drinks. Jem was very knowledgeable and we learnt a great deal. Highly recommend
This was so good, Jem was fantastic! 10/10 good vibes

We made pasta and tiramisu with the best hosts Kim and Filippo. They made the experience very fun and easy!
Gaia was very friendly and professional. She was able to help when needed help. She eased us into the cooking experience with pasta and tiramisu. Overall was a great experience and I had so much fun that I’ll do it again and 100% recommend for an experience. It was 3.5 hours long for length of visit. The atmosphere was so positive and welcoming that I did not feel left out and at the same pace as everyone. Crowd size is appropriate size of 12 people. It can be kid friendly as well.
Amazing atmosphere. Amazing time. Gaia made it so fun! 100% recommend versus the other places out there.
The class was so much fun! It was good for people of all cooking abilities and we learned a lot. Marzia was super friendly and made the class a lot of fun. Would definitely recommend!
Absolutely superb. Larissa and Ezgi were exemplary, providing fun and genuine experience into the session. We went as a family and our 13yo also loved it. Would highly recommend. 5 Stars.
Experience was great! We had so much fun, and learned a lot. Gaia was super cool and made the class enjoyable. She’s a great chef. I give her and the dinner we made a 10/10. Best pasta/ tiramisu I ever had.
It's a fun cooking experience. Even for those that have no idea of cooking. They will help you every step of the way
Gem and Beliza are wonderful hosts. The pasta class was very approachable for all, a fun atmosphere, and delicious!

Worth the price, brilliant. Would do again.
So fun!! The pasta was amazing!!
Marzia was an amazing host for the cooking class. She made us all feel at home, including myself who was attending solo. I had more food than I could eat and left feeling like a pro chef. Thank you for the lovely experience - a must do when in Rome.
Great for families! Very easy hands on experience that includes the full meal. Lohana was an amazing facilitator who was so kind to help our 6 year old roll out her dough. The space is small but great for about 15 people. Thank you!
Irmak and Lohana were so amazing!
Irmak and Lohana are amazing such a good class
This was so much fun. The chef was amazing and his energy was contagious, over all would recommend. Such a great learning environment!
it was amazing everyone was so welcoming and the chef was so nice and it was my birthday and she made it so special
It was our first time visiting Rome with our two children (11 & 12 y/o). We were looking for a fun and interactive experience that everyone would enjoy. The location was very easy to find and were warmly welcomed by our host/chef, Angela. We started off by learning how to make tiramisu. Angela demonstrated and explained how simple it was to make with a few simple ingredients. We had turns whipping the egg whites and yolks and then she shared helpful tips on how to assemble our own individual desserts. Next we learned how to make pasta. Angela was showed us how to knead the dough to perfection. We had the opportunity to make a portion of pasta each. While Angela was setting up to make the sauces, we had a chance to mingle with the other participant over wine. The kids were able to have as much water and soda as they wanted. Angela went on to show us how to prepare cacio e pepe and carbonara sauces. Finally, we all sat down to enjoy the pasta dishes we made together. They were fantastic! Angela was a great host and it was a memorable experience for us and our kids. We highly recommend trying a cooking class in Rome.
Definitely recommend. Very fun community cooking class. Food is delicious!! Gaia and Adib were lots of fun and very helpful. Even the children liked it.
Teacher was patient and funny. Very clear instructions as well as an easy but really fun experience. Great meeting other people and being able to cook for my family when I get back home.
10/10 Pasta cooking and tiramisu class.
Amazing experience with Marzia! She was super funny and gave us a ton of practical tips to take home with us. I will be making these recipes regularly at home so that alone was more than worth the money. The experience was very fun for the kids (10 and 14), small group class of only 8 and a lot of good vibes and outstanding food! Thank you so much!
BEWARE! I booked this cooking class as a special family experience while we were in Rome. On the morning of the class, my niece woke up with a high fever and a severe cough. There was no responsible way to bring her to a hands-on cooking class where she would have exposed everyone else to illness. I notified the chef, Angela (who was spectacular by the way and has no bearing on this review other than taking over a day to get back to me with bad news), her assistant, Shayane (also a delight) immediately upon arrival, hoping they would at least offer a credit or allow her to attend another class since we had 5 more days remaining in Rome. Instead, they sent a lengthy response saying they understood our situation but refused any refund, credit, or rescheduling because of their policy. The disappointing part isn't the policy itself, it's the complete lack of flexibility after acknowledging that our circumstances were genuine. Businesses often say customer service matters, but this experience suggested otherwise.
The host was just like my nonna, very welcoming and helpful and did an amazing job teaching how to make carbonara and cacio e pepe.
Amazing experience and nice dinner
It was fun. I enjoyed everything. Domenica and Filppo were amazing.
Highly recommend booking, great with families (my youngest is 4). 3 hours cooking with great chefs (Domenica and Kimia). Amazing memories made with our children.
We were lucky enough to have Chef Marzia, with the Carpe Diem Rome with Chef who was so sweet and funny! We were a family of 5, and my youngest was 7! We took the Pasta & Tiramisu class it was fantastic. I highly recommend to book a noon or mid day session to beat the heat with an indoor activity. Come hungry. The portions are large and delicious. Feeling so grateful for my family to learn how to have made pasta from scratch! Grazie Mille🥰
Amazing experience, Kelly and Lohana did a really good job. I would recommend the cooking class to everyone!
Amazing!! Everything was perfect. We had a blast! Chef was the best and everything was delicious !!!!
Absolutely amazing experience with Rome With Chef! 🍝🇮🇹 From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was fun, welcoming and full of Italian charm. The chefs were fantastic — so knowledgeable, patient and entertaining, making everyone feel involved even if you weren’t an experienced cook. Making fresh pasta and tiramisu ourselves was such a highlight, and learning the little tips and traditions behind Roman cooking made it even more special. The food was delicious, the wine/spritz flowed, and it was a great way to meet people and enjoy a proper Italian experience. I would highly recommend this class to anyone visiting Rome — it was one of the best experiences of our trip!
