Rome City Tour

We had the most incredible time with Fabio. He took us everywhere, the typical spots and some beautiful churches and other venues that we wouldn't have ever found. When we said we were hungry he took us to a fabulous restaurant and even extended our tour time We learned so much from him! Fabio also picked us up and took us back to the airport, and to the port for our cruise. He was punctual, very helpful, and his vehicle was spotless. Using Fabio was one of the best parts of our vacation!

Fabio handled all the transportation needs my friends and I had for our recent trip to Rome, including transport to and from the airport, to and from the port at Civitavecchia for our cruise and then a fabulous tour all around Rome that included the typical sights but also some spots that we never would have seen on our own. He was responsive to emails prior to our travel, providing us with specifics on where he would meet us and the cost of each trip. His knowledge of Rome was extensive and he was so personable. Amazing service from Fabio. He very kindly did our airport transfer for us and on the way to our apartment gave us a tour of the local area and gave us fabulous historical information and pointed out key places to go. Fabio was recommended by our friends who travel to Italy many times. We spent six hours touring Rome and Fabio took us to places we would never have seen otherwise. The history and the beauty of the city came alive from Fabio’s narration as we explored the significant part of the city such as the Colosseum, Pantheon and many other sites along with areas outside the city walls. We learned about the life of the Roman people and the great engineering marvels of the time. Fabio was warm and personable and very easy going. He also takes wonderful photos!! My sister-in-law discovered Limodriverome (Fabio) a few years ago and had a great experience. My wife and I were able to find his contact information and schedule a tour of Rome. What a fabulous experience. Fabio was perfect. We communicated easily and he explained so many things that we would not have known about. He stopped at important points along the way and would walk with us inside sites and explain the various statues and provided historical context was well. Fabio is great with the historic information so read up a bit about Rome and the various emperors and historic figures. We spent the good part of a day with him. During a stop for lunch at Eataly, he explained the various cheeses and prosciutto types and regions etc. A tour of Rome with Fabio will not disappoint! it is totally worth it. Check him out.

Fabio, was an excellent driver and guide. My son was interested in World War II sites, so we went to the Bunker at Monte Soratte. Knowing his interest he took us to a site in Rome to watch and hear them fire a cannon. He made our trip unique and was a pleasure to be with him for the day. I would highly recommend Fabio to anyone going to Rome and looking for a guide.

We had a wonderful tour with Fabio. He was prompt, efficient, and very knowledgeable about the City of Rome and it's history. He made our trip to Rome the best vacation ever! My husband has some mobility problems and Fabio would tailor our trips to what he could do. He would stop for a church or a plaza and I could get out and see everything while he would stay with my husband and talk Roman history. His driving skills are incredible, he was so kind and considerate. Rome with Fabio was the highlight of our European vacation.

I hired Fabio to pick us up from our cruise and take us to our hotel in Rome and I'm so happy I did. Fabio did an excellent job. He was right there when we got off the ship and escorted us to the waiting vans. There was a car seat for my granddaughter and bottles of water for us. On the way into the city, he gave us a tour which made the ride so enjoyable. I highly recommend Fabio when you are in Rome. Next time I'm there, I plan on hiring him for a tour!!

Beginning with the introductory emails, everything was perfect with Fabio. He was waiting for us when we got off the cruise ship at the appointed time, and we had an extremely comfortable ride with him. As a true Roman, Fabio gave us a wonderful tour along with the ride. He dropped us off to our tour guide, Simona, in Rome and picked us up on time for our return to the ship. Fabio is an excellent driver, personable, and very informative. You couldn't ask for a better experience!

We were staying in Fabio’a B&B and his service was top notch! Starting with our flight delayed 6 hours and Fabio made changes and still picked us up on time. He dropped us off to our first outing in the busy Rome city for our Colosseum tour the first day, we would have lost otherwise. Fabio gave us a city tour and told us all about the history of Rome, the Roma walls and the aqua duct that made the city flourished. It was truly an amazing tour! He then took us to Pompei and Amalfi coast, it was a beautiful trip! Lastly he dropped us off to Florence and stopped in Oviedo which was a beautiful city! The restaurant we stopped to have lunch outside of Florence served the best meal we ever had! Fabio is very polite, courteous, knowledgeable and loved sharing his country with us! He gave us many great suggestions even before we arrived in Italy. Our trip to Rome was perfect!

Fabio was the driver for two days of our touring of areas slightly outside of Rome and to the airport. He is FABULOUS - trustworthy, flexible, warmth, attentive. If I was returning to Rome I would engage him without a tour guide, though we had a superb guide too. Can't recommend too highly!

We took an afternoon tour with Fabio and it was truly amazing!!! Fabio is such a proud Roman and knows everything about his city. Our visit to Rome was very brief, so he made every effort to make sure we saw all of the sites in the few hours we spent with him. We visited in July, so it was very hot, but we found relief in the very comfortable van that we were shuttled around in. I would recommend this tour to anyone visiting Rome who wants to see everything!

Fabio has provided trusted service for family, friends and colleagues for many years. This recent visit, he arranged multiple tours for colleagues who were impressed with his extensive knowledge of Roma art and history. Their initial tour so enjoyable, they immediately booked another, quite a testament to Fabio's skill as a guide. During our visit, he drove us to/from the airport, the next day we enjoyed a tour visiting places we would not have discovered on our own, providing engaging narrative of someone who deeply loves his community. We were a group of 12 and he coordinated our schedules and created an interesting itinerary for all without missing a beat. He is patient, reliable, intelligent and so very kind. Fabio was our driver from the airport and we liked him so much we hired him to do a tour of Rome. He showed us things only a local would know and he has so much knowledge on architecture, history and more. This is not your average typical sights, but more of what you don't see or learn on your typical tour. We saw the aquaducts, original walls, pyramid, keyhole hill, beautiful overlooks and many more sights in and around rome. Then we asked him to give us another tour of Montefiscione, Orvieto and Civita di Bagnoregio. This was an amazing picturesque tour you cannot do on your own. The streets are windy and confusing and only someone experienced should do this. This was such a perfect day and he knew all the places to see that we got all three cities done in one day 6 hours starting and ending in Rome. Truly amazing sights, pure Italy! I highly recommend Fabio. And also the van was super clean and comfortable.

Me and my friends hired Fabio to pick us up from the Airport. He was very punctual and reliable. He has a great Mercedes Van and extremely clean. He spoke with passion about Rome and I enjoyed our conversation a lot. Because his service was outstanding, I hired him again to drive us to the Airport when my vacation is done. Since coming to Rome, I've used Fabio's services many times. This includes trips from the airport as well as moving around within Rome. He is an excellent driver with a friendly, gracious and overall pleasant personality. He has deep and accurate knowledge of the city's history and it's historic landmarks. He will transport you at your pace, fast or leisurely. If you want, he'll readily stop and take time to show and explain a particular landmark in greater detail. In addition, he has helped me above and beyond my transport needs. He's been able to answer my questions about the Roman culture and civic services that I needed to use while here. He's a virtual concierge for the city and all of Italy, and he's my friend here in Rome.

Fabio picked up myself and my three colleagues at the airport in a GORGEOUS, 2020, black Mercedes van and [obviously] dropped us off at one of his properties which was also beautiful and was but a handful of blocks from The Vatican. he was SUPER nice, well dressed, super friendly, answered all our what seemed like 200+ questions on the ride from the airport to his place (which we book on Air B&B which I also give an A+) I genuinely cannot recommend him more. I say all this very objectively as I can be a pretty tough critic at times. also, if you are still reading and are not sold yet, I left a shirt and my shave kit which he mailed back to me (in Spain) the next day! again, a very nice man. if you need a ride to and/or from the airport (in Rome) and are in a small group, you need to shoot him a msg. if you and your friends (3 or 4 total) are looking for an Air B&B, again, look him up 👌🏼

We used Fabio as our airport transfer but ended up getting a city tour into the bargain. He's very knowledgeable, funny and courteous and we'd really recommend him.

Fabio gave us a fantastic four-hour tour of Rome. We are a family of four with two teenagers. Each member of our family loved the tour and historical/cultural insight provided. Fabio is an easy going gentleman and will tailor the tour to your interests. Fabio even took us to some lesser known sights that we all thoroughly enjoyed. We had already spent three days in Rome when we met Fabio, and he provided a depth of knowledge with an Italian flair that gave us a whole new perspective on the city. I highly recommend Fabio, as do my discerning family members.

We hired Fabio because of a Rick Steve's tour book. He ended up exceeding our expectation. He was great and timely to say the least. My bags were held up and we were starving. The best thing we could do is the keep in touch with Fabio because sometimes he will have other pick ups. If you don't reserve him for the whole day. We were late and our luggage lost and starve. We didn't schedule for the whole day just a pick up. He changed his plans for us. Made sure we got to the hotel then took us somewhere near the hotel to eat. Which by the way had the best caffe! Where he told us about his lovely city. The next day he was driver with our tour lady Sara who was also great she gave us a tour of rome important sites. The next day we ask Fabio if he was avialable for a drive tour. He was great he personalized our tour for our son who is has austism. We went to the lego store in rome and did some shopping and took in more sites. Fabio knows as much as any historian. He showed us the best views and easy ways to get to Trevi Fountain and Spanish steps. Which was good for me because of my swollen ankle. We had such a good time we missed our boat because I messed up the embarking time. Fabio went out his way to talk to the port authority who didn't listen. Then when we found out that we would have to meet the boat at the next port. Fabio took care us again and made sure we got back to the same hotel and call reserved our room for us and took us to the train the next day. Made sure we understood the reader board for the trains and explained what to do. I can't say enough good things about Fabio. He truly made our visit to rome something special and I am glad i missed the boat. It was pouring rain at the next stop so i am glad i had more time in Rome. Thank you Fabio We can't wait for our next visit to Rome!!

Fabio is hands-down the best driver/guide I've ever had. He was on-time and a consummate professional. He picked up me and my sons from the airport for a hotel transfer and he kindly gave us a short tour on the way, all the while giving us very interesting info about Rome and its history. On the transfer back to the airport a few days later, he very kindly stopped and waited for 30 minutes while we stood in line to see an attraction. I would recommend him whole-heartedly to anyone visiting Rome.

Fabio met us right off our cruise ship in Civitavecchi prepared to take us to Rome for the day. His van was immaculate and accommodated our party of six comfortably. We asked Fabio to give us an overview of Rome from an “insiders” experience. It was the best tour we have ever done! Because he can tell you the history of all the sights it becomes a memorable experience and not just a tourist, tour! We asked to see the Appian highway and it was a highlight of our visit. We met some people in Venice and recommended Fabio to them. Turns out they took our advise! When we returned to Rom, Fabio took us to the airport and helped us find our way around! Who does that? Our tour with Fabio was one of the highlights of our trip to Italy. Fabio arrived at our hotel early in an immaculate, comfortable Mercedes. He is an excellent, efficient driver. Fabio is also very kind and considerate. He knowledge and love of Rome is apparent, and he provided many fascinating details regarding the history of Rome. We booked Fabio to see the Rome monuments illuminated at night, as one of us has difficulties with walking. Thanks to Fabio, we were able to see things we would not have seen otherwise.Our night tour was everything we expected and much more. We are so grateful/thankful that we booked this trip with Fabio.

We worked with Fabio on a full-day trip from Rome out to Villa d'Este and Hadrian's Villa. He arrived early at our hotel in an immaculate Mercedes, which he navigated through the streets of Rome flawlessly. He is knowledgeable about his city, which he clearly loves, and provided fascinating bits of insight and information throughout our time with him, and he both accommodated our desire to see the Appian Way and took us to look through the "secret" Knights of Malta keyhole. Being with a driver for a full day in some cases can seem like an eternity, but being with Fabio was one of the most enjoyable parts of our entire trip to Italy. We would work with him again without hesitation.

We arranged for Fabio to meet us on our arrival to Rome Airport. On arrival Fabio was there as arranged and we had a first class transfer to our apartment, both vechicles used were immaculate. Fabio is polite, helpful and very knowledgeable about the history of Rome. As this was our first trip to Rome Fabio gave us an excellent well explained itinerary for our first day which we followed and saw so much more. As Fabio made the transfer process so easy we booked our return trip to the airport and had great discussions on what we had seen. The next time we come back to Rome we will definitely use Fabio again.

We found Fabio from TripAdvisor and wow !! He does live-up to those high ratings. We arrived on 15th of August, from the air-port to hotel he gave us a little tour and some little-known histories of Rome, 3 days later he picked up 6 of our friends from air-port to hotel and they told me they received a great service from him. The following day he got 8 of us from the hotel to Civitavecchia cruise port, while on the way he took a detour to the St. Peter's Square for our 6 friends that did not get time to see !! Again some great service from cruise-port to air-port ! What more can I say.

Fabio was wonderful. He seamlessly collected us from the airport and drove us to our apartment in Rome. He was professional, punctual, charming, and incredibly knowledgeable. He was also great at entertaining our 7 and 5 year old boys - teaching them about Rome's history and a number of Italian phrases. We'd highly recommend using him if you're in Rome.

Fabio met our family of 4 at the airport for our first trip to Rome late evening. He drove us to our accommodation, helped us get our luggage upstairs and gave us heaps of information about the areas we were driving through. Our amazing Roman holiday started with Fabio who picked us up at the port after a Mediterranean cruise. The few days we spent in Rome were just fabulously amazing! Fabio is Wonderful, very punctual, professional, knowledgeable, nice and organized, and speaks good English. We picked us up in Civitavecchia and drove us to Rome and back, and also gave us a tour in Rome and we couldn’t have been happier with anyone. He knew a lot about history and architecture and gave us a very comprehensive perspective that helped our 11 year old twins understand a lot about the Roman Empire and Tome through the centuries, and what they were seeing in Rome. Throughout our trip to Rome, we had a pleasure of doing business with Fabio 4 times and every single time he was on time (to a minute!) and was so friendly, welcoming and positive, you couldn’t resist but to smile back. Super easy to reach via WatsApp, always replied within an hour or so, spoke great English, was organized and polite. We asked Fabio for a car seat for our toddler and he got us one without a problem, he drove our precious little cargo like it was his own, with great caution. One time we even asked him for directions to kids’ playground and he not just gave us directions on how to get there, but came over himself, met us by the supermarket and walked us there to make sure we didn’t get lost. This is the kind of person he is, felt like we were a part of his family. Fabio was so caring and so kind to my family, he played a huge role in our overall experience in Rome.
