We absolutely loved our night Bike Tours through Rome. It is such a great way to see so much of the city in a quick amount of time. We were a bit anxious to ride bikes at night in Rome. However, the guide was very good and his instructions and behaviour kept us feeling safe for the entire journey. Bikes and accessories were top notch and well maintained. I can definitely recommend this trip!
Zack was just AMAZING. he is knowledgeable, fluent in many languages and really made our trip memorable. We sat down at a quaint restaurant for the included dinner and wine and enjoyed great conversation. The trip is planned efficiently allowing just enough time at each stop to get a lot of sites in. The BEST part was the torrential downpour of rain the last 10 min of our ride. We were fighting winds and flooding rains, but Zak got us back safely and stayed at the shop late so we could ring our clothes out and dry off enough to get into a taxi. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! So much fun.

This e bike night tour was a highlight of our trip and we highly recommend it. Our guide Zach gave us great insights at the stops which were nicely lit at night. The weather was great as the day had cooled a bit and we could see much more by bicycle and travel off the beaten path. Our meal stop was delicious, ambient and we enjoyed the company of our group.
This bike tour was a great way to see the main sights of the city and because the bikes are electric you don't have to work too hard going up the hills! Very enjoyable evening. I would recommend it.

We had a blast! Zac was a great tour guide. We ended up moving to the evening tour bc no one signed up for our original tour and the company did not charge us the difference-since the evening one included dinner and was more expensive. The dinner ended up being awesome-I was worried about dining with strangers-and also worried that the food would suck-but the antipasti ordered was delicious and then we could order whatever pasta or pizza we wanted. Plus wine, beer and then water/soft drinks if wanted. Had coffee after dinner. The sites were beautiful at night. I do bike tours whenever I go, since it’s a great way to cover a lot of ground in a short about of time. And let’s you figure out where you want to visit again for more info. It was a great tour! Highly recommend.
This activity is such a fantastic way to see Rome. And the evening time, Rome is illuminated and it is spectacular at night. The mid ride meal was a nice ice breaker with the group. The meal itself was limited but ok for this purpose. I loved riding from monument to monument through small, quiet alleys. It was just a really fun way to spend an evening in Rome!
Sina was a great guide, prepared with our tour E-bikes and gear and ready to go. He had humor, history, concern for our welfare, and "comaradere" at heart and was fun to be with. Our tour hit all of the highlights with extra info you otherwise may not know. Great answers to our questions were given. Sunday evening was the best for no autos in the central zone as well as fewer people (they were "in" for dinner or the evening). If evening lights and a tour then is not available, we recommend a Sunday tour since the no-auto-zone applies around the Forum area then.
The tour was great. The guide made it fun and interesting. The ruins are all lit up at night and look fantastic. Certainly, it was less crowded. This is the best way to see Rome as far as I am concerned.

If you’re looking for a way to see all Rome has to offer, look no further than this nighttime E-Bike tour. Make sure to pay extra for the dinner. It was at a charming little trattoria with great pasta and pizza. You will get the excitement of riding through some busy street, and the charm of some romantic scenic little alleys. In my opinion, in order to really take in the incredible structures and history that Rome has, you want to do it at night when there is less people. This tour will make Rome feel even more magical than it already is.
I took my 17 year old son and we loved it. Fabio was a knowledgeable and engaging guide, the bikes were excellent and the route just beautiful and historic. The pizza lunch stop was another highlight I would highly recommend this trip!
I rode with TopBike nine years ago and was eager to join them again on this visit. We chose the night ride with dinner and I’m so glad we did! It was an exciting way to cruise the city. The route allowed minimum interaction with traffic and took us by all of Rome’s iconic sites and areas. Ali was engaging, knowledgeable and a very good ‘cyclist’ shepherd! This is a highlight of our trip to Rome.
Fun ride through the city and dinner at a nice outdoor restaurant. Streets in some spots can be a little crowded. Our guide was amazing and made sure everyone was able to keep up. She made it fun and informative even though some in our group couldn’t keep up well with our family and her.
Our favorite excursion of our Italy vacation! So fun to see the city at night, and what a great way to see so many amazing spots in just a couple hours without the lines and crowds and heatstroke :). A great combo of seeing the sites, but also just experiencing a flavor of Rome’s hidden and local neighborhoods that connect all the locations. And Zak, our guide was the best! It was adventures and touring all in one.
This was my 4th Top Bike tour and every one of them has been outstanding! 4 different guides and all of them have been so knowledgeable and passionate about what they do. They added the Rome by Night with Dinner and it was WONDERFUL! Plenty of riding, down unique streets that you would not see otherwise and and a generous dinner at a nice trattoria. I highly recommend this wonderful company.
Fabulous first night in Rome tour! Beautiful lights and Ali was a great guide. Bikes were very high quality and made a few hills super easy. I will say the crowds are a challenge to ride through at certain points of the tour. Some narrow areas to go through. Overall a great time and worth it!

If you want to feel like you are falling in love w Rome- take the evening tour. The sunset, the changing lights on the colleseum, the forum lit up at night , all of it just beautful. For a moment I felt I was experiencing Rome - not just being a tourist ! Our guide was super educated with a history background, and was surprised at all the new details I learned compared to walking tours I've had. She was also very accommodating. I was nervous about riding the bike bc after chemotherapy my feet feel like blocks of ice. She kept checking on us and took sidewalks, paused and walked the bikes when busy. But there were plenty of times when traffic was sparse and we rode in the middle of the road. That memory will stick w me forever. The guide also knew every tiny side alley/ street so she popped us out to see so many historical structures quickly, off the crowded path. She also paved the way through crowds that I would have never thought was a good idea. She made even that easy with her leading the way. I liked how our guide was adaptable- adjusting the tour based on our interests and available time.
Top bike has the best bikes in town, they have a huge stocks of bike for you to choose from, which is different from another rental shop I also tried. Very friendly and helpful staff, and we had a great time led by Arina. My top told me, it must be topbike if we come to Rome again.
What an incredible night! Our bike tour through Rome with Arina was absolutely amazing. She was so friendly, knowledgeable, and easy to connect with it felt like exploring the city with a knowledgable friend. We visited the Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, and so many iconic spots, all lit up and peaceful at night. Truly one of the best ways to experience the magic of Rome!
My family of 4 (2 teens) traveled a few stops in Italy and ended in Rome. We did this tour the first evening we arrived as an “opener” of the highlights of Rome before we decided what we wanted to do in greater depth. It was really ideal to do this on the first night, but any night will do. It was also a welcome relief from the summer heat (though I would do this again any time of year). The guide was wonderful, the stops were short and enough to learn a bit at each stop. Most stops were 5-10 minutes (other tours I saw have 30-45 min stops which we didn’t want). We didn’t feel unsafe (they provide helmets and safety vests). The ride wasn’t hard at all given you had an e-bike with 4 levels of electric support (I think my family used only the first 2 levels, maybe the third on a hill). My teens had never ridden e-bikes before and it was no problem at all. Basically you just need to know how to ride a bike. It’s also helpful to know they provide a water bottle and a bike saddle bag (about the size of a lunch box) where you can store anything you have while you ride (or they can hold your items at the facility and you can pick them back up when finished). In summary, we basically saw all the best spots except for the Vatican (which we are going to do another day anyway). Rome is also so beautiful at night. Don’t overthink this - it’s a blast! It’s an easy activity and a welcome change from the typical “cattle call” tours.

Exceptional experience! Most tours in a big city is going to be quick and involve a lot of walking. This tour was exceptional in that we were guided safely and expertly by our guide on easy to manage electric assisted bikes through many nooks and crannies in Rome to many of Rome's most popular tourist attractions (Trevi Fountain, Pantheon, etc.) and some hidden gems (San Ignacio was awe inspiring and magical). Bita, our guide, had much information about the city which she enthusiastically explained at each stop. Our meal was simple but effective at a local Trattoria. Seeing the city by bike at twilight was an absolute treat!
The e-bikes were really fun to use, and really easy to get used to. I went with my mum who doesn’t really enjoy cycling, but the pace and effort was leisurely so it’s definitely suitable for all fitness levels. We got to see all of the major landmarks and Ali our guide was really friendly and knowledgable about the city - I’d definitely do the e-bikes again in Rome or another city :)
My son 13 and I 46 did the night tour of Rome. Was a fantastic experience and would definitely recommend it. It does get busy out and about but the guide made sure we were all together and safe. Top job.

While Rome is a very busy city, our route was safe, fun, and allowed us to see all of the major landmarks. One of our favorite experiences while in the city!

Was really pleased that we booked this tour. It gave an excellent familiarisation view of all the main places to sightsee in Rome all in one evening, with a good dinner added in for good measure. My husband commented that we could have saved a couple of days of hotel costs, as now we had seen it all!! We would certainly ride with them again, and have in fact booked the Appian Way tour for two days time. We would never have explored as much of the City of Rome without the Tour. Youp’s knowledge of the little back streets and alleyways was phenomenal. He very passionate about history, very knowledgeable and informative. He gave so much information and created a vision with the stories to help bring the monuments to life. The base staff were also good - Ciro was very helpful - he had contacted us to say that they didn’t have enough bookings and we would have to go for the shorter tour, but then contacted again to say that they had another booking so could proceed with the original plan. The communication was excellent and we felt aware and looked after. They also had an amazing number of bikes available. Several hundred. The Cannondale e-bikes were great and easy to use. Really excellent. Would highly recommend.
