The bicycle tourguide has been very good. She told us a lot about the sites we wanted to see and she brought us to places we didnˋt know! Ricki +Elmar

Reviews
people should know that this is riding through a busy city so if you are not comfortable with that, do a car tour. If you are comfortable with riding in some traffic and keeping up with a group then this tour is outstanding
E-bike was an easy way to see a lot of Rome in one day. Pier was very interesting and knowledgeable. This was our second time visiting Rome and we saw many historical sites we had not visited in our previous vacation. Pier was able ti clear the way for our group of cyclists and he made the adventure really fun!
Easy riding Great guide Plenty of traffic Excellent way to see and be informed about Rome / the history / the culture
We booked this bicycle tour to experience cycling through the streets of Rome while learning more about the city's fascinating history. Our guide, Isabella, was lovely and incredibly knowledgeable. Despite having lived in Rome for only a relatively short time, she shared a wealth of information and made the tour both engaging and enjoyable. Isabella was happy to answer all of our questions and created a fun, relaxed atmosphere throughout the tour. At the end, she also gave us plenty of useful tips and recommendations for places to visit, eat, and explore in Rome. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience and would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Rome.
Total blast and a great (yet thorough) intro to Rome! This was our first trip to Rome so we booked this tour in the morning of our first day and it was the perfect overview so that we felt more confident immediately. Our tour guide Vincento was so friendly and knowledgeable, he was a fantastic welcome to this amazing city and we are so grateful for him. Will do this again the next time we come because it was so fun!
Great! Ebikes made it effortless. There were cool drinking fountains throughout the city. The traffic was a little intimidating, but our guide made us feel safe. He was extremely knowledgeable. It was hot but biking gave a little breeze.
A fantastic way to see and learn about Rome in a short period of time. Vince was a spectacular tour guide - knowledgeable, kind and authentic.
Great way to see Rome. The e-bikes made it easy to cover a lot of ground without wearing yourself out, and seeing the city this way — rather than from a bus or on foot — lets you absorb it on a completely different level. You feel connected to the streets and the history in a way that’s hard to get otherwise. The guide was excellent. Clearly knows Rome deeply and brought the history to life at every stop — Trevi Fountain, the Colosseum, the Pantheon. Well worth it.
We had a great time exploring the city with Vincent on electric bikes. I can’t imagine doing it any other way in the heat. He was very enthusiastic about proving us with the rich history of Rome. We felt safe the whole time with our family.
We had a wonderful experience on this bike tour! The only thing to keep in mind for families is that they don’t have individual bikes available for younger children around age 10 to ride on their own, which was a little disappointing for us.They did, however, offer a tandem bike as an alternative. That being said, Vincenzo, our tour guide, truly made the experience exceptional. He was an amazing guide—knowledgeable, engaging, and passionate about the history of the city. Throughout the tour, he shared so many interesting stories, historical details, and explanations that really brought everything we were seeing to life. He kept us interested from beginning to end and actually left us wanting to learn and see even more! Overall, it was a fantastic tour and a great way to explore the city while learning about its history. Vincenzo definitely made the difference and turned it into a memorable experience. Highly recommended.
We had an awesome time with Paul the guide. He was very energetic, knowledgeable and fun. We highly recommend this activity as we saw many sites, over a lot of distance.
This was a great way of seeing the city and riding an ebike made it even better. Vincenzo was brilliant, he had lots of knowledge about the city sights. He made sure we all stayed together in our group of 7.
Two hour and a half biking tool make you see the major landmarks of Roma it was perfect because we only had a day with my son in the city. Interesting historical comments, Paolo was very helpful and small group. Complimentary water bottle and good bikes. Good price.
Sabrina was a great tour guide. She was very knowledgeable and navigated us safely through the busy Rome streets.
We did this bike tour as a family of five, two adults, two 14-year-olds and a 7-year-old, and it worked perfectly for all of us. Our guide Francisco was outstanding: endlessly knowledgeable about Rome's history and sights, and great at keeping the kids engaged as well as the adults. The e-bikes made a huge difference. Rome's hills and cobbles are no joke, but with the electric assist even our youngest had no trouble keeping up, and nobody was worn out by the end. Great value for the price, and honestly the quality was even better than we expected. A brilliant way to see the iconic spots without spending the whole day walking. Highly recommended for families.
The guided bike tour through the historic center of Rome was a lot of fun. Riding through the ancient streets and seeing the ruins and churches was an amazing experience. Our guide, Sabrina, shared many interesting stories, both historical and legendary, which made the tour even more enjoyable. I would definitely do it again if I had the chance.
Very nice bike tour of many of the top sites in Rome. Highly recommend our guide, Pier Paulo. Born and raised Roman with detailed knowledge of the Roman history!
The worst experience I had in Rome. First of all, Rome is not a city you should be riding a bike in. Especially not an electric bike-- I felt so unsafe. Pedestrians and cars kept getting in the bike lanes. Guide knew nothing about the sites. When a member of our group got into an accident trying to swerve away from a pedestrian, the guide seemed to have no clue what to do. She didn't even have a first aid kit on her. The company also didn't offer us helmets, so the group member who crashed hit her head. The rest of the group waited 45 mins on the side of the road for another guide to come continue the tour. When we informed the company we would not be continuing because we felt unsafe without helmets and uncomfortable with the guide, they were extremely rude. I don't recommend wasting your money on this disaster of a company.
Absolutely wonderful. Tour guide Paul- Peter was a wealth of knowledge and tailored the experience for us. We were lucky enough to have a tour just for our family. Highly recommend.
Samir was the best tour guide ever! Learned alot of history. Pro tip: If you are shorter than 5’2, the e-bikes may be too big for you even at the lowest seat setting. Overall, this bike tour was great.
The beginning of the bike tour was a little tough around Trevi and the Pantheon because of the congestion of pedestrian traffic, but once you get out of that area it really opens up. The guide was very good and knowledge. You cover a lot of ground in the time and the kids will love it. I recommend for a great introduction to Rome and get some valuable insight for the remainder of your trip.
It takes getting used to the e-bike, but it’s worth it. Especially on the hills. Auto and pedestrian traffic was a lot. Our guide got us through it.
Amazing experience and very informative. Highly recommended, especially on the first couple of days in Rome. The guide Paolo was very fun and knowledgeable.
Vincenzo was great! He gave so much information at each stop. Such a great tour guide and the speed was group friendly.
Fantastic bike ride round all the sites, guide was great and very knowledgable. Saw parts of Rome we wouldn’t have seen otherwise
vincenzo is the BEST!! he was able to answer all of our questions about the history of rome, and you get to see all of the popular sights in ONE tour!! the biking is a little challenging but they have E-bikes! but it’s slow paced as well, not a race! we both had such a great time and learned so much, i would 100% recommend this to anyone traveling to rome!!
There are no bike lanes, you ride in the street amongst pedestrians and traffic. If you are a confident bike rider, you should be fine. We are 66 and 69, love our bikes at home. Never did e-bikes before and are so glad we tried them.
A fabulously fun and educational tour with Inti. Highly recommended to see the sites of Rome and learn much of the history along the way. Thank you!
Best way to see Rome when it’s hot. Fun activity with a guide to knows where to go. Learned about the city as well.
Loved this tour. A great way to see some of the sites of Rome. Our tour guide was informative and kept us all together navigating the busy streets.
What a great guide Mateo was just awesome so knowledgeable bikes were sturdy Alot of people to try and ride around
The tour is perfect for families too: my 10-year-old son comfortably rode a tandem bike and had so much fun. We visited the most iconic spots in Rome without ever getting bored — actually, time flew by. Giada was an amazing guide! excellent both in English and Italian, and she always had an answer ready for every question. I truly recommend this tour to anyone who has limited time to visit the city but still wants to get a clear, complete, and fun overview of Rome.
It was hard to understand the guide. He didn’t really help explain how the e-bikes work and never asked how we were doing. It was a bit tricky riding on very crowded cobblestone streets. He didn’t give us much information often telling us we’d be going through a few different neighborhoods but not stopping to tell us about them. I didn’t even realize that we rode through some that were of interest. Bike had a nice soft seat but the ebike seemed to lurch. The bathroom had no seat and no paper so tough for women.
The experience was great. A bit shorter than other companies that organize bike tours in Rome. One remark: Viator confirmed that Dutch tour guide was available, but immediately after booking that actual company delivering this (orange fox) said that Dutch was not available for the booked slot.
We have done quite a few bike tours through Europe and the states. Our guide was super nice and knowledgeable but this city and where we went is not very bike friendly. I felt like we were always having to watch out for walkers. We were here in May so I can only imagine how much more crowded it would be in peak months. I did like being able to walk around at some of the sites and our guide gave us 15-20 minutes take it all in. That was great, but I would have preferred to do a walking tour over a bike tour in this city. We chose to get regular bikes and opted out of electric bikes. I’m happy I did because I didnt mind biking on the few hills we had. Our tour guide was great and helpful I just wish the path we chose was better for biking.
Great tour, very informative and made sure the group stayed together. The tour guide knew exactly which ways to go to avoid the crowds without missing any important stops. I would 100% recommend it you visit Rome, even just to get an idea of where the sights are and the best locations to get the best photos! Spot on👍🏼
Our guide Giada was excellent, the bikes weren’t in the best of shape, but ok. Biking in Rome is a challenge, the pedestrian traffic is horrible and ignorant. Great stops along the way. It’s worth it but the traffic was stressful, giada was super
Bicycling through the streets of Rome is a unique experience and we highly recommend it. Giada was a great tour guide-thank you! We had regular bikes, but if you want to have a leisurely ride, we recommend the e-bykes. There are plenty of hills that will challenge you 😉 We had a great time!
There were at least 12 people on this tour, which was WAY too many. Rome is crazy busy with tourists at this time of year and so it was so stressful to try to keep the group together. Plus finding a place to park all those bikes was a challenge and one time all the bikes fell over after one tipped. We went down narrow streets crammed with tourists and major roads with buses cars and motorcycles. Not everyone was provided a helmet. On the plus side, the tour did go to major sites much faster than we could have gone by foot or any other form of transportation.
Very nice tour with Danielle, it was a good mix of site seeing and historic information, we liked it
Upon arrival info that Dutch tourguide was not available (a) and it was too late for them to inform us to cancel the trip (b). our option: either cancel and get refund, or take the trip with 'fee upgrade' from regular bike to electric bike. As we scheduled the afternoon as such, we took that option (less interesting as son & wife do not 100% master english). Sadly the guide (Mr M) was not motivated at all and yawning often, event had to stop for a coffee and food (seems he was booked on 4 tours that day). Limited stories, no inside info, both tourguide as tourist were happy it was finished... we did not even cover the last foreseen stop. All in all, not to our expectations (antoher Dutch couple in our tour felt the same). In other cities i had much better experiences with such bike-tours. Bad start of our first day in Rome.
Cycling around Rome was good fun. We understood most of what the guide said. At the booking desk there was heavy upselling to swap the booking to electric bikes. We conceded to 2/4, got charged for all 4 and had to accept refund in cash. Whilst one in our party benefitted from the electric motor, it really wasn’t needed (just one steeper hill on the tour), so it felt like a rip off with nearly double the price.
Great tour with our guide Jada, covering the top attractions in the city centre, with nice explanations, sympathy and attention to the group, well driven trough the narrow streets, despite the confusion of traffic and people. Nice bikes, regular and electric. Recommend and will repeat, next time in Rome.
Marcelo was great! He had a lot of knowledge of the sites, and took great care to make sure my 10 year old was in the pack.
Nice bike tour around wonderful Rome, the guide knowledgeable and fun.. the only problem.. too many people, needed to walk the bike several times
Biking in Rome is dangerously dangerous, have to be a competent rider. We had a great guide. We saw the most important sites
Very fun--- the time went by fast. An experience to remember for many years. So much history to take in--
A great opportunity to see multiple classical sites from Rome’s rich history and architecture on 2 wheels. Plenty of photo opportunities and very good historical explanations at each site from your cycling guide. The 2.5 hours flew by and if you have more time in Rome, it gives you the opportunity to decide on what you want to visit relevant to the time you have in the city. Great fun as well.
The guides are excellent. They speak seven languages: German, Dutch, Italian, Spanish, and French. They have a very good route through all the main sights of Rome, including the Colosseum, the Roman Forum, the Pantheon, and many others.
