Rome At Night By Golf Cart

We had a wonderful tour for our large family with 2 guides, Eva and Federico. They were both excellent and worked together to make our tour memorable. Both were knowledgeable and a lot of fun, a very nice combination! I was in the golf cart with Eva and very much appreciated her commentary and helpfulness. She even went to the trouble to text us some recommendations for restaurants and the ones we tried were fabulous. I know that the members of the family that were with Federico were equally happy and impressed with his enthusiasm and friendly attitude. I would highly recommend either one but they worked so well together and we had so much fun as a large group, I think people should take their whole family and book both guides!

Wow. Just Incredible. Daniela was absolutely amazing. I wish we could have made every stop on this trip with her guidance. We were extremely ignorant and just saw so many things in passing exploring by ourselves, but after our 3 hour night tour with Daniela we felt extremely connected to the architecture and the city of Rome. We will definitely be back and requesting Daniela as our tour guide for our next trip! Worth every penny! Bravissima!!!

We had a great experience on our golf cart tour of Rome, we did it our first night to see some sights and get a sense of the city. Our driver Nicola gave us great commentary and stories for what we were seeing overall would recommend this experience for a group!

Nicola was a great tour guide. He shared lots of info and was an excellent driver. He obviously loves what he does. We loved the Forum at night, the Pantheon and Aventine Hill. The gelato stop was perfect and delicious!

I highly recommend this tour for families - especially those with children who are resistant to walking everywhere! It’s the perfect introduction to Rome and its best bits, but you don’t have to worry about getting from A-B. Also our guide Ruben was excellent, so knowledgeable and friendly, and he took us to some of his favourite spots and viewpoints we’d have never found by ourselves.

We just finished a three hour golf cart tour around Rome with Valentina and it was amazing! Communication before the tour was excellent, It was easy to find the meeting spot, and Valentina was a fantastic tour guide. She is friendly, knowledgeable, and clearly loves her city. I highly recommend this as a fun and unique way to see Rome.

My wife and I booked this tour our final night in Italy. It was a great tour with a very friendly and knowledgeable guide (Eva). You could tell Eva was passionate about the city and Roman history. She gave us a lot of information about the sites we visited, and even took is to some “hidden gems” that most tours don’t visit. She also took us to the hands down, best gelato place in the city! I would rate the tour, and Eva, higher if I could. Excellent experience from the time we were picked up until we finished the tour. I would highly recommend this tour and Eva as a guide!

Nicola was an excellent guide. We saw many beautiful sites at night. My favorite was the Colosseum at night. Nicola has excellent English and made the trip very enjoyable.

Amazing tour with Ruben! He was very informative and we saw some amazing sights!

First off book this tour at night (5:30) on your first night in Rome, it will give you perspective of everything you will see later in you stay in the city. Second ask for Peter Francesco to do your tour he is a Roman who knows the city and its history. Peter made our tour become a spectacular night and history lesson of the eternal city, and it will be a special memory of our entire two weeks in Italy. There are a lot of golf carts tours in the city this one is the real deal thanks to Peter. It is well worth your time and dollars.

Peter francesco was an excellent guide/ driver. His knowledge is exceptional and being a local knows the best places to take pictures and to see things which would be by normal tours/ guides. He made us feel like we are his personal guests and even walked through the Jewish quarter and treating us to a delectable gelato. Thanks for a very memorable evening to see Rome under the stars.

Peter was our guide and we could not have asked for a better experience! He arrived at our hotel early and was communicative before our scheduled pick up ( so we weren't left wondering if someone would actually be there). It was just my friend and myself so Peter let us adjust the tour to fit what we wanted. His English was wonderful and his knowledge of Rome and Roman history was phenomenal! We felt safe, he was a TON of fun, fascinating stories of the Roman history and had all of the best suggestions for capturing the experience ( where to go for the best pics). This was absolutely THE BEST way to see Rome! Cool breeze. Rome at night with all of the lights and glory! He also had an incredible American music playlist which we sang our hearts out to ! This was my 7th trip to Rome this summer and by far the best time I have had!

Beautiful way to see the highlights of Rome. Fewer people at the landmarks and every stop was so pretty with lights, candlelight, etc. Great tour!

Valentina was our amazing guide on September 27, 2026. We booked the night tour and had a superb time seeing the illuminated beauty of Rome’s iconic sites with our charming and well informed guide. Valentina even told us where to get the best ticket time for the Pantheon and Granita con crema near the Pantheon for another day. My friend and I booked the nighttime golf cart tour and the guide, Valentino, based on the recommendation from a couple we met. We have since recommended both the tour and Valentino to friends we saw at a wedding outside of Sienna. The cart held 5+ the driver, and is great for those less mobile or tired from a day walking around Rome. Valentino picked us up and dropped us off at our Airbnb. He was very knowledgeable and made it fun with both history and myths and lore.

Peter is very helpful with pointers how and where yo acquire hood pictures. Also well knowledgeable and informed us very well with the history of current and ancient Rome. Even treat us with homemade Gelato. Above all, our safety was always his priority.

The night tour was fantastic. Our tour guide Eva was friendly and took us to wonderful sights that we wouldn't have seen if we didn't go on this drive. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed it and would recommend Eva to whoever is interested in seeing the best views of Rome at night.

So I'm a week or so late writing this review, but I couldn't let it pass without saying how wonderful our tour guide Ruben with Gallo tours was. My sister and I were in Rome for a couple days prior to our cruise and decided since it was so hot to do a night time tour of Rome become leaving the next morning. I'm not exaggerating when I say that with all the amazing things we saw in Rome, this tour was the absolute highlight. Ruben was 100% the very best ever! He picked us up at our hotel, which made it so easy. He not only took us to all the sights you think you should see in Rome, but also took us to neighborhoods and off the tourist trail locations. We mentioned stopping for a Gelato, not expecting him to buy it for us, but he did at his favorite Gelato place in Rome. It was amazing. He also stopped by his favorite little café/ bar and bought us a delightful Aperol Spritzer. Again, totally unexpected. We saw and learned so much and had a wonderful time doing it. By the end of the tour, we felt like family. Could not recommend more highly. Also, at the end of the night I realized I left my phone in the golf cart. Ruben brought it all the way back to our hotel. Fantastic experience we will NOT soon forget.

We had Peter as our tour guide and he was excellent! He shared all kinds of Roman history with us in 2.5 hours that we didn’t know about even after months planning our trip. Plus got to see places in Rome we didn’t even have on our itinerary. This was the best part of our trip to Rome!

He has such a passion for his city and shared what is important to him and met all of our requests to see the historic sites! We could not ask for a better guide in Max!
