This was a nice way to be introduced to Rome. Our guide, Daniel, was knowledgeable and funny. We very much enjoyed the walk and the history lessons. A great start to our trip!

Itinerary
This tour begins in Piazza di Spagna at the foot of the world renowned Spanish Steps. Your guide will meet you here and after giving you a brief history of the steps you will get a chance to admire the surrounding Quartiere Inglese (English Quarter), the beautiful neighborhood around the steps that has been the center of tourism in Rome for hundreds of years and has seen everyone from Ernest Hemingway to Kim Kardashian stroll the streets and sip coffee at cafes.
Soon, we are off to the Trevi fountain passing a few hidden treasures along the way. The fountain is possibly the most famous in the world and the modern lighting illuminating it from under the water lends the statues an almost other worldly view leaving many saying that it is actually better to visit after dark. Your guide will be sure to leave time for everyone to toss in their coins as is the tradition in Rome, and then we’re off to the Pantheon.
The Pantheon was completed in the early second century and it remains one of the most impressive archaeological achievements of all time, and remains in use as a church today
After marvelling at the Pantheon, we will walk to Piazza Navona where elegant fountains meet stately palaces offering one of the most striking views in the city. In the summertime artists can be found selling their works at night while in December it holds the Christmas night market where you can buy traditional Italian gifts and sweets.

Our tour with Paul was exceptional! His historical and cultural knowledge is unmatched, which made this experience both enjoyable and educational! Paul recommended a local pizzeria and showed us the way. We highly recommend the experience! Doing this at night made the historical sights even more magical! Thank you Paul!
Good intro to the city. Knowledgeable guide who showed us some off the beaten track Basillicas, and some other great suggestions.
David was a fabulous guide. Extremely informative and aways ready to answer your questions. Thank you
Our group tour ended up be a private tour and we felt so lucky to have a history professor be our guide. We really learned a lot and had a great time in seeing a lot of the ironic landmarks at night, which takes for some great photos! We did this as the first night after landing in Rome, which works well as it ends at 8, then gives you time to rest and sleep afterwards. I highly recommend it!
Small group tour turned out to be a private tour. Guide was also a history professor who made the layers of Rome's history come alive. Also gave us an excellent dinner recommendation ( where locals and tourists were dining).
Daniel was a fine guide, easygoing and knowledgeable. Took us to see interesting things on a very nice night. Tour was a hair under 2 hours; not sure if we were just fast and saw everything that would take 2-3 hours (as the website says).
Diletta was friendly, informative and fun! The very first thing I did as I enter Europe, Itially, Rome was to take this tour. She was kind, friendly and adapted the tour to me and my family. Not only giving us the assumed information of the past but also local current culture and recommendations. The two hours flew buy and we loved every second of it. Highly recommend this tour and Diletta!
Our guide was imformative and had such a nice way of showing us the city that was supposed to be a long tour ,was actually fun and time just flew -10/10 on our guide ,she was a star connecting both with myself and my wife aswell as my adult kids .we all said afterwards what a pleasure she was .
This was a wonderful opportunity to get acquainted with and oriented to the city of Rome. It was a very small group so it was very easy to hear the guide and ask questions. Our guide was incredibly knowledgable regarding the history, the theology, the culture and orientation of the city. He obviously had a passion for ancient history and his excitement sharing his wisdom made the tour even more enjoyable. I have read other reviews where the guide leaves without people when they are running late. This company called me 20 minutes before the tour started to check my location and ensure I had directions, which was so helpful as it was my first day in Rome after a very long overnight travel day! I was so appreciative! Absolutely wonderful and professional tour!
Really great guide who was so knowledgeable and informed about Rome and its history. Had so much fun with the family.
We ended up being the only participants in the tour, meaning we got a private tour from tour guide Paul. He is very knowledgeable with historical topics so recommended if you want detailed historical facts
Wealth of knowledge and well worth the price. We had seen some of the sites during the day and was awesome at night.
Me and my wife turned out to be the only members of this tour. However John made it extremely fun with his American politics as examples of roman politics as well as being extremely passionate for architecture as a discipline. The pantheon theories were very nicely explained as well.
Rome is even more magical by night and Angela our guide was excellent with her knowledge & stories about Rome after dark. Would do this again
Daniel was amazing. He spent time answering all questions that we had and was a joy to be around. Never realized how many little details were still in every corner of Rome. I would do this tour again with Daniel.
What an amazing Rome experience! Driver was also expert guide! 2 of our best two hours in Rome ending with lightened up palaces. Wow!
My sister and I were alone on the tour with a gentleman leading us, and at first, I wasn't sure if it was a good idea following a stranger through the city, but he put us completely at ease and was amazing! Even giving us advice on the safest way back to our hotel at the end. He went above and beyond at the end of the tour by helping us find the right streets to take, and making sure we'd be safe. On the tour, he was funny, knowledgeable, and gave us plenty of time to take pictures. He also welcomed our questions, and showed us things to fit with our interests.
My daughter and I booked the evening tour and it’s the best experience we’ve had! James our tour guide was so friendly and made us feel very safe. His knowledge was unbelievable and he pointed out things we would never have seen on our own. At the end of the tour he also showed us a lovely restaurant to eat in. I highly recommend you take this tour, it was one of the highlights of our trip!
This tour exceeded my expectations. Angela (our tour guide) was AMAZING. She is so knowledgeable and even gave us recommendations for dinner that night. I took the tour with my 10 year old son. He was engaged the entire (which is a small miracle) and really enjoyed learning about Rome. We took the tour the evening that we arrived in Rome and it was such a great start to our trip. Seeing the Trevi Fountain all lit up at night is magical. I highly recommend!
