Rome's Best By E-bike: Guided City Tour (Small Group Or Private)

Really great bikes, excellent tour guide, very interesting throughout. Perfect English and a great sense of humour. A very cool way to see Rome.

This really is the best (and funnest) way to see Rome. The electric bikes make peddling easy, and our guide always ensured we were safe when crossing the street and sharing the road with cars. We didn’t even realize that we covered 20km—getting a great workout without even knowing it.

We had an amazing experience rediscovering the joys of e-bike tours during our private, 4-hour Central Rome adventure. Georgio, our guide, made the tour unforgettable with his warm personality and deep knowledge of the city's history and charm. We managed to visit most of the iconic landmarks while enjoying a relaxed pace. A highlight was the delightful break for a light lunch at a trattoria in a lovely square, recommended by our guide. This tour let us cover so much more than we ever could have planned by ourselves on foot. Highly recommended!

Marcello did a great job navigating around the Rome marathon that had closed many roads that morning. Given that there were only 3 of us, I had hoped for a bit more story and info about some of the sights. We got a 20 min late start, perhaps that partially explains the brevity.

Our favourite part of our trip to Rome was THIS BIKE TOUR! We loved it! The history, the guide, the individualized sites, the photo opps! Safe, professional and friendly! Thank you for everything! A memory we will treasure forever!

Great tour! Michael was an excellent guild. Be ready to cover some ground around Rome! This is a fantastic tour for people comfortable on a bike and want to ride! The ebike makes the hills easy!

We did this as a family and it was a pleasant way to spend a few hours. The cycling was straightforward, however you did need to be confident on a bike, not least with the number of crazy pedestrians! We enjoyed the market stop for lunch and the kids loved the water fountain trick! While Georgio was a welcoming and watchful guide, the itinerary was not as advertised and we did not see many of the listed sites, including Vatican/St Peters (a fairly fundamental part of Rome!), Mouth of Truth, Pantheon, Trevi fountain, Spanish Steps…and more. Unless you count the beautiful city panorama? Some of these sites are of course in pedestrianised, busy areas but I think the tour details should be clearer. There was also a fairly limited amount of history and facts about Rome compared to other similar tours we’ve done. We only had limited time in Rome and picked it based on the itinerary, so overall it was a bit of a disappointment.

We took the tour with Matteo—a great man and an even better guide. He is a very cultured person and a pleasure to talk to. My family and I are grateful to him for the experience.

This was seriously one of the favorite things we did in Rome. Our guide was very informative and entertaining. He took us to some amazing spots. This is an experience we will never forget and will recommend it to anyone visiting Rome.

We had a great experience on our tour guided by trevor he spoke with great passion of the history of rome the bike was very comfortable and felt very safe overal a great way to discover Rome and see as much as possible.

Nima was a great tour guide with a lot of knowledge about Rome, both old Rome and today’s Rome. There were only 4 of us so it was easier to get around. He was very good about making sure we were safe and that we knew how to operate the bikes. Because we were a small group he took us to a favorite coffee place that had delicious coffee. I would highly recommend this tour.

This was a really cool way to see the city. The directions to the location are clear, Nima certainly knows what he's talking about, and he showed us a lot of the city that we weren't able to see otherwise. Definitely recommend.

We made the best decision choosing this tour with our Guide AleViandante. We only had one day in Rome and this tour exceeded our expectations. Allessio ensured that we got to see all the important sights that we wanted to see as well as sooo much more behind the scenes that we never expected. This was a fantastic tour!! So much fun. And we learned a lot. Our tour guide was Ilenia - she was knowledgeable, friendly, fun, helpful, patient. We were fortunate to have a small group - my husband, me, plus one other couple - which made getting around Rome smooth and easy. We were also lucky that we happened to schedule our tour in the morning on a Rome holiday (June 29, 2026) so there was less traffic/people to navigate. It was hot, but every time we got back on the bikes we gave ourselves a breeze. Can't say enough good things about this tour - from booking to communication to the actual tour - it was a wonderful experience that we will always remember. (Note: Rome is a busy city so it is to your advantage to have at least some experience with e-bikes.) Highly recommend!! And we'll do it again if we're back in Rome! Thank you, Ilenia!

This e-bike tour was the highlight of our Italian trip! The tour was absolutely incredible with our tour leader George who showed us many of the highlights of Rome. The highlights of the ride included: riding through Rome traffic, riding through Villa Borghese Park, going to a local Saturday produce market and riding up the Via della Conciliazione to the Vatican.

Great experience! Friendly staff, spoke English well. Took us to all the sites and had some surprises on the way. They knew ways to avoid the crowds while still seeing the sites. The e-bikes worked perfectly and my kids (9&11) had no trouble at all navigating the streets or the crowds. PERFECT DAY!

Michale was an excellent guide. He rode at a calming pace through the crowds. Guided us through some quieter side streets through various different neighborhoods. Shared interesting history and answered all our questions. We were a small group of 2 people. Wonderful experience and tour.

We had the best experience on this tour with our amazing guide Riccardo! He made the experience fun & was extremely knowledge about all the landmarks we saw (and even random landmarks we pointed out to ask about along the way)! You have to book with Riccardo if you do this tour!

The eBike tour through Rome was an absolute highlight of our trip! Our guide AleViandAnte aka Allesio was extremely knowledgeable and impressed us with his deep understanding of Rome’s history. What we especially appreciated was how attentive he was to our questions and how he tailored the tour to our interests and wishes regarding the sights we wanted to see. In addition to being a fantastic guide, Allesio is also a very creative photographer. During the tour, he took many cool and spontaneous pictures of us, which became wonderful memories of this special experience. We highly recommend this tour with Allesi — a perfect combination of culture, fun, and unforgettable impressions!

We booked a small group tour with Giorgio. He was a phenomenal guide; his grasp of Roman history was amazing, and he took us to some amazing vistas. He even took us to the Campo di Fiori market where he pointed out the best bakery and pizza place in town, and he was 100% right. At the end of the tour, he retraced our route on a paper map as a souvenir, and also gave us tips about the neighborhood around our hotel. Totally a 5 star experience!

Great tour by Riccardo, went with my brother and father and we all loved the historical information, really in-depth and a clear passion in the subject. It shows a wide range of the city, and if you aren't staying long in Rome this gives a great overview of it all.

Our 4 hour e-bike tour of Rome was great with our guide Giorgio. We wanted to get an overview of Rome on our first day and he definitely met that with his background in Contemporary History! The Scott e-bikes we used were awesome and Giorgio was an excellent leader as we maneuvered through people and traffic throughout Rome. It ended up only being my family of three on the e-bike tour so we essentially got a private tour of city. This e-bike tour was recommended to us to do on our first day in Rome and it was well worth it!

Ilenia was amazing! Her knowledge, passion, and love for her home city (Roma) was evident throughout the tour. Seeing Rome from a bicycle is beautiful and I highly recommend it! Very professional guide and good quality bikes.

This was the best way to experience rome! We saw things and went to places that would have taken four days to see. Our guide Elena made us feel so safe in the busy traffic and was so knowledgable, kind, calm and balanced the time and info about every place very well. She was absolutely terrific. We had a wonderful Ebike tour of Rome. Our tour guide was Alessandrs and he was amazing and extremely knowledgeable about current and historical Roman events! He was also able to keep us safe on the bikes. Rome has great bike paths that get very close to the sites so traveling in traffic was kept to a minimum. The ebikes were very helpful getting us up the hills, and very efficient in getting us around the city in a very short time. And they are fun! Thank you!

It was an incredible experience

My family and I had an excellent experience with our guide Giorgio! We had a family member who struggled with the bicycle and Giorgio treated her with such patience and kindness that we were still able to have a wonderful experience. Giorgio guided us to a Cafe to take a break and get refreshments, and he pivoted the intended route to match our comfort levels without ever showing a second of frustration. He was so knowledgeable of everything that he showed us and if we were to come back here we truly could not be happier with another tour. Thank you Giorgio for a great day that we will always remember! Great value too!

Wonderful e-bike tour that allows you to see so much of Rome in half a day! Our guide Francisco was great.

We didn’t really know what to expect of this tour but Giorgio our guide went above and beyond to make sure we had a great day. The tour was about 4 hours/ 15km on city streets and bike paths, using comfortable e-bikes. Giorgio highlighted many of Rome’s attractions, allowing lots of time for pictures and potty/water/rest breaks. He even volunteered to be our unofficial photographer and we got lots of great pics! The pace was adequate and we always felt safe. The bike path along the river at golden hour was magical.

Good tour, as we got to see a lot and covered quite a bit of ground. Bikes were awesome - some of the best e-bikes we have tried and we were the only two riders so it ended up being a private tour!

We had Manfreddi as a guide and he was awesome!! He was so informative and kept us safe on the bikes so we could enjoy riding around the city. Getting around Rome on e-bikes is the only way to actually see the city — especially if you only have a couple of days. This tour was definitely worth the money. Only had 2 days in Rome and this was my favorite part! ILENIA did an amazing job of leading us through Rome on the bikes and she was so knowledgeable. If it wasn’t for her, I wouldn’t have seen 1/10th of what she was able to show us in the 4 hours . I highly recommend this tour!! 💯

I've done several bike tours and this was by far the best EVER! First and foremost our guide, ilenia, was amazing! She was very knowledgeable, kind and spoke great English. This tour was 4 hours and I thought it was a perfect length for seeing all around Rome's City Center including historical sites, and the outskirts like the Trastevere area. The meeting area was at a beautiful sports club and very easy to find. Really if you want to see Rome in a day, take this tour and ask for ilenia:)

We had the most wonderful experience exploring the beautiful city of Rome on e-bikes! We always felt safe and well looked after, and the pace was perfect for enjoying the sights without feeling rushed. I can't walk well, so cycling was the best way for me to see the city. The tour guide was excellent. She showed us so many sights.amy I wouldn't even have known of if she hadn't shown us. The guide had lots of great knowledge. Excellent bikes. We made a small detour to a great coffee house when it rained heavily. Best tour ever.

This was the highlight of our trip. It was my first time to visit Rome and Daniela made sure we got to all of the important sights. She had so much information and made the 3 hours so much fun. I would highly recommend this trip and I would ask for Daniela she was amazing!!!
