Ride Rome On A Vespa With A Local Driver

This was the most fun we had in Rome! Antonio and his friends are the real deal--real Romans, real Vespas. We zipped around, stopping at key sights for important information, enjoying our small group, feeling very well cared for. Antonio followed our tour with helpful suggestions for other things to see, places to eat. Do not hesitate to take this tour, ideally on your first day in Rome. And if it's raining, bring your raincoat and do the tour--this is one not to miss.

Honestly, this was such a standout tour! I wasn’t sure how it would be as someone travelling on my own, but I’m SO glad I booked. I had the best time. We zoomed around so many different neighbourhoods, with a running commentary on all the notable and historic spots, peppered with loads of fun stories along the way. It felt like we covered so much of Rome, without ever feeling rushed. We stopped in Trastevere for an incredible granita di caffè con panna, which was perfectly timed because it was hooooot, before jumping back on the Vespas and carrying on. And the photos! Honestly, these might be some of my favourites from my entire holiday. Can you really beat a Vespa shot in front of the Colosseum? Such a fun way to see Rome, especially if you’re travelling solo. Absolutely one of the highlights of my trip.

Angelo was the best tour guide! We chose to do this tour on day 1 to get a lay of the land. Such a great choice especially for a Sunday with less traffic. We felt safe the entire time and Angelo by special request even dropped us at St. Peter’s square for the Pope’s Sunday prayer. Fantastic all the way around!

Angelo and Claudio gave us the best adventure we had in Rome. Seeing Rome on the back of a Vespa is the best way to see it. Not only did we experience the iconic landmarks of Rome, we also travelled through small cobblestone lanes to see the unknown. We can not thank these two wonderful guys enough, 5 stars all round 💛

Our family of four, including two girls ages 12 and 14, loved this vintage Vespa tour! After lots of walking, it was so nice to get off our feet, feel the wind in our hair, and see Rome from a different perspective. We loved cruising through the side streets, discovering shortcuts, and stopping at picturesque spots. Angelo was a fantastic guide and personalized the tour by asking what we wanted to see and where we wanted to end. All the drivers were wonderful. Such a fun way to experience Rome, and we definitely recommend it for families with teens. We got two thumbs up from both girls, which is no easy feat, even in a city as beautiful as Rome!

This unique Vespa experience was INCREDIBLE !!! Angelo and his team went out of their way to ensure my grandson , my daughter and I had a fun, professional and highly informative day out! They picked us up directly from our hotel and then whisked us off in gran style on Vintage Vespas . We visited a multitude of different zones we would never have thought of visiting - hidden streets and secret gems that only Romans know about all the while receiving really interesting facts about this one of a kind city . We were also treated to a real coffee with scrumptious brioche in the heart of Trastevere - what a treat! If you are in Rome don't think twice book this experience . Thank you Angelo 😍

Angelo and his crew were the absolute perfect 1st day in Rome experience! They are the immediate cure for your jet lag. Highly recommend. We were immediately engaged by their genuine energy. I went May 2025 It was an absolute blast! Angelo was my guide and he realised early on that I was a confident rider/passenger so I got the full-on real 'Italian Traffic' experience. So much fun darting and diving amongst the traffic. He was very informative and made the 3 hours very memorable. Highly recommend!

This was hands-down our favorite thing we did in Rome! Angelo and Andrea were absolutely fantastic. They even picked us up directly from our Airbnb, which made everything so easy. My husband rode with Angelo and I rode with Andrea. I have a larger head and was struggling with the helmet fit, so Andrea kindly let me use his own helmet. It was such a thoughtful gesture and really set the tone for the experience. Angelo was an amazing guide - knowledgeable, funny, and full of great stories. We got to see so many beautiful sites around Rome, including a fun photo stop at the Colosseum that gave us some of our favorite honeymoon pictures. The tour was the perfect mix of sightseeing, local insight, and fun. We ended with coffee, beer, and Aperol Spritzes while chatting and taking in the experience. If you’re visiting Rome, book this tour. It was an unforgettable way to see the city and a highlight of our time in Rome.

This is our second time on this tour. The first time was with our daughter and her friend a few years ago. This time with our sons. It is a fantastic tour. Angelo is wonderful guide full of energy and passion. I would recommend this tour to anyone - especially those with teenagers or 20 something children with them trying to find a tour that that keeps the kid’s attention. Just outstanding.

After 5 minutes, me, Angelo and the Vespa became one 😂 Such a fun experience riding through Rome on a tiny vintage Vespa from the 80s. This trip is a must such fun, best way to see Rome so do it early on your trip. The drivers all amazing and love their Jobs. Angelo the best host and brilliant when it comes to organising everyone. Do not consider cheaper trips this was worth every euro. We all felt safe but had the thrill of flying through Rome while learning as we went. Really can’t recommend more it will likely be the best thing you do on your trip.

Being real Italians but speaking excellent English meant Angelo and his friend, Claudio, were really friendly, funny and great company as they whizzed us around Rome, pointing out the sights and sharing information. They were really flexible, focusing on what we wanted to see and adjusted the trip accordingly. Cannot recommend highly enough. Would suggest doing this at the start of your holiday as it gives you a real taste of Rome and comes with lots of recommendations and suggestions for your stay.

I’ve been coming to Rome for 20 years and I have done and seen almost everything there is to see and do in the city. This tour with Angelo is the best thing I have ever done.
