Alex Paolini was great. We had a very early morning pickup for the airport and he was waiting early for at the lobby. He assisted us with our bags and even ran to get a luggage cart for us. 10/10 Great Experience.
Alex Paolini was an AMAZING guide and driver. He was very knowledgeable and told us much about Rome. He was always on time and went way above and beyond to help my mother who used a wheelchair. Top recommendation for him!
Our driver was waiting for us on time, helped with the luggage, was very friendly and helpful during the ride. Very safe and conscientious driver. Helped us unload at the airport. Would definitely hire again.
Professional, punctual, and reliable car service to and from airport
Our driver Sal was early to our hotel for our arrival to airport and was very kind and professional.
Alessandro, the driver, was the absolute best! The communication and timeliness were exceptional. Our group had a last minute flight change and we were seamlessly accommodated. I would highly recommend.
Our driver arrived on time and quickly loaded our luggage while offering us bottles of cold water. We had a great conversation with him as we headed to the airport. This service was one of the few that offered enough space for four adults and their luggage. We were so comfortable and enjoyed going past landmarks we had visited on our way out of Rome. Our driver made it a relaxing and enjoyable experience. He got us to our terminal on time and helped unload all of our bags. It was so easy.
Our last day and departure from Rome: Alex arrived to our hotel early and loaded our luggage into the car. On our drive to the airport, Alex pointed out some landmarks and gave some history. When we arrived to the airport and Alex unloaded the car for us and we said our goodbyes. Alex was a safe driver, very accommodating and made the car ride for the week very enjoyable. Once you meet him you can tell his goal is to provide quality service. His ability to communicate in English is phenomenal. His pleasant demeanor made us all feel comfortable. Actually, our time with Alex as our driver and guide made it hard to say goodbye to Italy!!
Alex was amazing. Arrived early and greeted us with water and Italian pastries. He shared great information about our next destination. Would use him again when in Roma!
Prompt service. Comfortable and clean car. Alex driving was safe. He helped with the baggage. Highly recommend this company!
My family and I worked directly with Serena Calabrese to schedule private drivers to bring us - 8 people, 2 Mercedes vans - to small villages located south of Rome and in Abruzzo. Each trip was about 2 hours driving outside of Rome, so 4 hours in the vans each day with Alex Paolini and Alessandro Cerafogli as our drivers. These guys were knowledgeable, kind, incredibly generous and helpful, willing to help translate, and spoke English very well. They took immense pride in their jobs and were excellent drivers. Serena handled the scheduling … never missed a detail … and all email correspondence was prompt and well detailed. The confirmation messages on the days before the drivers were to pick us up at our hotel were detailed and timely. The entire group was an absolute pleasure to work with, making my family vacation so easy and so memorable. WORTH. EVERY. EURO!
Salvatore was FANTASTIC!!!! Best goodbye ever to a lovely time in Rome. Totally recommended, with no stress, perfectly on time, and maximum comfort. I will choose this service again when I come back to Rome. 10/10!
I was very happy about the airport transfer with Salvatore. Very friendly and helpful. Very comfortable car and clean as well.
Alex Paolini was a nice driver. He was very pleasent. Gave many tips according places too eat and Nice places too see.
Our Driver Salvatore was excellent - a last minute flight change and a need to get to the airport an hour and 1/2 earlier was not a problem for Salvatore. He met us at our hotel and took us to the Rome airport quickly and safely - along the way we learned about several new sites in Rome that we hadn't see previously.
Claudio was excellent!!! He went over and beyond all expectations. Anyone looking for a great car should call Viator and request Claudio. We were a family of 4 people and many large bags! He did it all with a big smile and personality. Couldn't be more pleased! We return to Rome in October and will definitely call for Claudio!!
I rode with Paolo and Alex during my trip in Rome. Both were nice, professional and on time. Would highly recommend the service.
As an English speaker, the driver spoke English which is very easy for us to communicate with him. Beside, the price is reasonable and the provide a comfortable environment for us in the journey. The driver is also nice and helpful.
Alex was awesome! He was not only on time, but he was EARLY, which made me feel confident that we would get to the airport on time with no issues. He was so sweet that before we left Rome he made it a point to stop at one of Rome's best pastry shops on the way to the airport so that we could have one last coffee and delicious Roman pastry before we left. Alex is wonderful to talk to, and the conversation was never dull. He is so full of knowledge and knows a great deal about history and different cultures. He is also a great driver and I felt very safe with him. He even wore a mask the whole time to make sure we felt secure. He truly is the definition of warm Italian hospitality. I will definitely request Alex next time I visit Rome for any of my transportation needs. Alex is the king of Rome!
Great service with Alex Paolini! Provided water, took our bags, ensured we were comfortable, spacious and clean vehicle, answered all our questions!
Alex was professional and arrived even before the appointment time. He communicated continuously so I never had any anxiety about whether or not he would arrive. The price was excellent and fair. The vehicle was clean and spacious. We arrived in plenty of time. I highly recommend this service. Alex speaks perfect English as well if that is a concern.
Great Experience! Very friendly driver. Would definitely order service again next time we are in the area
We used Best Rome Driver for transfers from the airport to town and then back at the end of our trip. Both times, the driver was there on time waiting for us. They were corteous and helpful, professional. Communication with them prior to our trip was easy in English and replies came very quickly. Payment was easily done with a credit card. I would not hesitate to use them on my next trip, and wish them well in these uncertain times.
We arrived in Rome on Sunday AM 2/9 and Alessio was waiting right outside of the baggage claim area. We had made prior arrangements with Rome's Best Driver on the recommendation from a friend. He was pleasant and gladly helped get the bags to the car. Speaks English very well. He took us as close as he could to where we were staying (the road was closed), gave us clear direction to get where we needed to go. He picked us up on time Saturday morning and got us right to the airport. Vehicle is clean, comfortable, and roomy. Excellent, punctual, and happy to see us. We took a tour with this company during our trip which was also excellent. Highly recommended for both this driver and for the company.
Alex Paolini the driver who picked me up at the hotel in the center of Rome, met me with a Croissant breakfast and a donut because it was early and he thought he could not have breakfast at the hotel. It was a pleasant surprise. Alex is a young, sociable and very attentive person. He helped me get a trolley for my bags and made sure everything was fine before I returned to town. Nice experience to meet you and say goodbye to Rome.
Driver Alex Paolini of Best Rome driver, was polite and kind, arrived in precise time, helped me with my bags, I felt safe and comfortable
Our driver Alex Paolini was very precise and professional, since we had to be at the airport very early in the morning. Alex showed up thirty minutes before our departure, taking away all our worries. Very satisfied with the service
A kind driver who provides a lot of information on tourism in Rome and has experience in Italian cuisine, how it is prepared and what its ingredients are, and who was careful to adhere to dates and arrive early before consultation
Salvatore picked us up from Rome Fiumicino Airport and took us back there. He was punctual, friendly and very accommodating. We would ride with him again and again.
Salvatore was the best in all our holiday, was punctual courteous and super helpful. His sympathy made this transfer unforgettable. I highly recommend best Rome driver and Salvatore. We will definitely book some tours next time.
Great Service, my compliments for this great company, the driver Alex Paolini is always superprofessional ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Still satisfaction with the services offered by Maurizio Lucci, communication by e-mail always excellent with his son Alessio Lucci, this time I had requested a transfer to the airport and the driver Alex Paolini as the previous time was accurate and professional
Very comfortable trip, excellent Service, very skilled and friendly driver. Despite the high traffic the punctuality was perfect.
We booked a ride and met Valerio, our driver who accompanied us to the airport. He was kind, helpful and very polite. Exceptional guide, we would have liked to have met him before. Thank you Valerio, a greeting from Puglia ❤️
Great company and very good driver (Mr. Giuliano). Polite and very professional in his work. The car clean and well maintained. Congratulations
I used the service Best Rome Driver lot of times (before the covid period) to go to and to come back from the airport. Impeccable service, punctuality and kindness. In this moment I used the service to move around in Rome and I can confirm that Best Rome Driver is an impeccable service, on time and kind. I strongly recommend it! I called them very often (before covid) for transfers to and from the airport. Impeccable Service, punctuality and courtesy. At this time when it is not possible to travel I took advantage of their services to move within Rome and confirm again an impeccable Service, prompt courteous. I highly recommend!
In a year in which every week I found myself traveling for work, I often used the services of Best Rome Driver for transfers to and from Fiumicino airport. Alex Paolini, the driver I travelled with the most, was always punctual, very professional and courteous. With the office communication was always effective thanks to the availability of Alessio Lucci. 100% professionals, highly recommended!
