Breakfast was ready when we got into the very nice van! It was great! The trip into Rome was delightful with stories of dogs, traffic and John Travolta! Oh, and Rome history too! We visited the Spanish steps, the Trevi fountain and St. Peter’s Basilica! Then we drove past the colosseum to a wonderful lunch at a quaint local restaurant! Very good!
Very friendly, helpful tour guide with a very comfortable van. He had water available for us AND brought us fresh Italian pastries for breakfast. This was a nice mix of driving around Rome and stopping at key sites for short browsing ending with lunch…perfect day for a first day in Rome!
Our driver Giuliano was incredible. We arrived to Rome in the AM our first stop was a lovely place for caffe and a bancomat and then off to a lovely tour of the city highlights. Giuliano Brought us to the perfect over view of the Forum and near the spanish steps. His recommended lunch stop was one of our favorite meals. Then more highlight before dropping us to our hotel! Highly recommend this tour on your first day. A great overview of the city to help acclimate you to the sights and the time difference. Giuliano was wonderful.
Alex Paolini was amazing. He was patient with my arrival and even helped me with my luggage when I got lost. He made me feel safe and welcomed right away. Grazie Alex!
An excellent experience! The guide was so nice and pointed out parts of Rome and spoke to us in English the entire time. He moved all the bags and was very polite. There were a lot of people at the airport when we got there but we were able to find him pretty quickly.
Alex did a great job of taking us around Rome for the day and picking us up at different locations after the tours. He was so kind to my older parents, buying my father a coke and then taking him back to the hotel when he became too tired to continue with the day. He was prompt and kind all day.
Salvatore was a great driver and very patient waiting for our group as we had a few delays into FCO. Highly recommend this service!
Full honesty this is probably my 4th review for Best Rome Driver. Our family has used them about 10 times over the last 10 years. Always AMAZING!! Communication is exceptional, your driver will text you to introduce themselves on WhatsApp a couple hours before, they are waiting with your name on a sign. Over the years we have had the same drivers, this is a sign of quality for the company. Fee is competitive with ongoing exceptional service. BRD will continue to be our go to contact for transportation in the Roma area.
The airline did not load our luggage in the US and it was two hours late arriving in Rome and our driver Pino was wonderful during the wait for us to get our luggage which was on another flight.

Paolo was in touch via text as soon as our plane landed. He did an excellent job of letting us know where he was waiting for us and we met up with him easily. It was a bit of a walk to the van from the terminal but he was very kind and patient, encouraging us that we walk at our own pace. ’No rush. No rush!” The van was comfortable and the ride to our hotel in Rome was comfortable, pleasant and informative. Paolo pointed out some points of interest along the way and was extremely personable. His English is excellent. We very much appreciated such a warm and friendly welcome, and competent driver, after the long journey from Phoenix, AZ in the US. We booked a private transfer from Rome Fiumicino airport to our hotel in Rome city center and return last week, since the first call we realised how professional and willing the personnell is. Alessio, the guy who organises the services was so meticulous and helpful, Salvatore, the driver, was really precious, he also helped us helped us with our huge bags, the minivan was new and comfortable, so I must say that both services were perfect!

Words cannot express how excellent Best Rome Driver was for my family and I. We have an annual vacation that due to COVID was 2 years in the making so this was a very big deal for us. We, and when I say we I mean 14 people, 11 adults, 1 - 16 year old, 1 - 9 year old and 1 rambunctious 4 year old, decided to take a Greek Isles cruise but also given we hadn't had a vacation in so long add some days in Italy before the cruise. I found Best Rome Driver and booking them was one of the best decisions I made. From my emails with Alessio who became my partner in coordinating all of the travels, we needed 2 vans for multiple stops across multiple days. He answered all of my emails and texts once I got to Italy and coordinated everything including the last minute car seat. We had a transfer from the airport to the hotel, hotel to the port on another day and port to the airport at the end of the trip and everything ran smoothly which says a lot when you are corralling 14 people with luggage to boot. COVID precautions were taken, the vans were immaculate and they even gave us a mini tour as we drove to the hotel and let us sleep when we drove back to the airport lol Alessio, Fabrizio, Claudio, Giuliano, Valerio and Pino, you all were amazing. Nice transport service from FCO airport to our hotel . Our diver Fabio was outside the arrival area waiting for us. Our service was very clean. It was relaxing driving to the hotel especially we came in at night not worrying about anything.

My bf and I booked a transfer from Rome Fiumicino airport to our accommodation (B&B in Prati district). Everything was great! The driver (Fabio) was at the airport before us, and it was very easy to find him. He was friendy and professional, and the ride to our accommodation was smooth and fast. I am sure we will book again this transfer once we are back in Rome- this option is a way more convinient and efficient than using a train to Termini.
Alex Paolini was waiting for us right when we exited the airport. And he texted me before our flight landed to let me know he was here. He was very friendly and knowledgeable. He gave us a lot of good recommendations for our trip. I hope we have him as a driver again!!!!!
