From our arrival in Naples to our final goodbye at the Rome airport, Joe Banana Limos was exceptional! They handled our transportation from Naples to Sorrento, including a wonderful evening in Positano with beautiful photo stops along the way. Throughout our stay, they coordinated multiple transfers for our excursions, then provided an effortless journey from Sorrento to Rome and, finally, our airport transportation home. Communication was outstanding from beginning to end. Replies were always prompt, clear and helpful—even with my many questions and our changing schedules. Every detail was handled professionally, which allowed us to relax and simply enjoy the experience. The Mercedes vans were beautiful, immaculate, cool and extremely comfortable for our group of five adults. Every driver arrived promptly and was pleasant, polished, helpful and accommodating. It certainly did not hurt that they were also handsome young Italian gentlemen! They made us feel safe and well cared for while adding warmth and fun to every journey. Using Joe Banana Limos did far more than get us from one place to another—it genuinely elevated our entire Italian experience. I actually used Joe Banana Limos for 4 services during our August 2026 visit to Italy. First my husband and I booked a private car for transport from our hotel in Rome to Sorrento, with a stop for 2 hours in Pompeii for a private tour (also arranged by Joe Banana-excellent tour guide and tour). We then added a private boat transfer from Sorrento Port to Capri Port to get to our next hotel on AnaCapri. Joe Banana could not have made the entire day more seemless or enjoyable. The driver was on time for pickup at our hotel in Rome, connected us personally with our tour guide in Pompeii (also coordinated with her for pick-up when tour was complete), continued on to Sorrento Port where he personally connected us with our boat skipper, who not only transported us to Capri, but spent almost an hour driving us around some of the highlights of the island by water. Both our driver that day and our skipper were outstanding. They never let us carry a suitcase or bag, were engaging and pleasant, offered us beverages to keep cool, and essentially made us feel like royalty. That experience was so good that we emailed our contact at Joe Banana, Nunzia, to ask if we could book an additional job with a private driver for later in the week when we planed to return to the coast so he could drive us around the coastal towns for the day. Nunzia responded promptly with an estimate and assurance of availability and we quickly booked our next experience with Joe Banana. After a couple days on AnaCapri, we arrived back on the Amalfi Coast and spent our first day there with the same driver who transferred us from Rome to Sorrento-we were so pleased to see him again! He patiently drove us around all of the towns, stopping for us to hop out and shop or take pictures whenever we saw something intriguing. All the while, he pointed out places and things we would have never known had we not had him with us. He dropped us off at a stunning terrace restaurant for lunch (he arranged this for us as we had no idea where to go for a good lunch). It was perfect. Finding our driver after lunch or shopping was never a problem. He was always ready and waiting, easy to find. Our last booking through Joe Banana was our final private transfer from our hotel in Praiano back to the Rome airport, with a two hour stop at Cantina del Velsuvio Winery along the way. This time we had a new driver, equally as pleasant and professional. We were comfortable and non-stressed, thoroughly entertained with conversation, free of the worries of directions and traffic. In each of our four bookings with Joe Banana we would rate our services 10/10. Our only regret was not booking absolutely every excursion we had during our vacation through Joe Banana. This company provides excellent communication and services for a fair price. We WILL be calling upon them again for our next trips. Many thanks!!

We had a wonderful experience with Ferdi as our driver from Rome to Sorrento, including a stop in Pompeii. He was incredibly polite, professional, and reliable from start to finish. Communication was easy throughout the entire process, and he made sure everything ran smoothly, including getting us to Pompeii with plenty of time to make our scheduled tour. After a long travel day, it was such a relief to have someone we could completely rely on. Ferdi made the entire journey comfortable and stress-free. We had such an amazing day with Danilo yesterday! We spent the day with him in Rome. He took us to every site and shop on our list and was so attentive and fun! We have booked another trip with them this week. Our family has such a special memory because of JB Tours and Danilo. We are so happy.

Based on exceptional reviews, we booked private transfers from Rome to Sorrento and back with Joe Banana. Our family of four (including our 8 and 11 year old children and a lot of luggage) fit comfortably in the Mercedes van. Our driver, Pasquale, was SO delightful and made sure we were taken care of during our 3 1/2 hour journey to Sorrento, offering cold bottled water, and rest stops if needed. Our transfer included a lunch stop at a lovely winery near the base of Mt. Vesuvius, followed by a 2 hour tour of the Herculaneum ruins with a private guide. It was a great way to get in some sightseeing while also making our way to our next destination. After 5 days in Sorrento, we were fortunate enough to have Pasquale as our driver once again for the transfer back to Rome. I cannot praise Pasquale enough for his exceptional service, professionalism, and delightful conversation. We will absolutely use Joe Banana again when we return to Italy.

We planned a trip to Italy with Nunzia at Joe Banana and would highly recommend using them. They were to tier agents full of knowledge. I arrange everything with 5 weeks of our last minute trip and it was over the top. We had the same Driver Guilio for the whole trip and he was absolutely delightful. Fantastic local drive on the Amalfi coast

From the time Danilo picked us up in Rome he made our experience amazing. He was funny, kind, light hearted and full of knowledge. We literally could not have asked for a better driver or guide. It felt like we were riding to sorrento with an old friend. My friend and I agreed that if we could have hired him for the entire 4 days just to take us everywhere and show us everything then we absolutely would. Also, the van and ride were extremely comfortable. Thank you so much for a wonderful transfer and even better memories!

We used their service to transfer from Rome to Sorrento and back. Clean cars friendly drivers and very well driven which is important to us as I get car sick easily. We also worked with Laura at the office who is simply amazing. She helped us book a tour at the last minute to Herculaneum, Vesuvius and a nice vineyard for wine tasting and lunch. We had a good experience with Joe Banana for our Sorrento to Rome private transfer. We added in a stop in Naples so a short tour and to dine on delicious pizza. Our driver made a few restaurant suggestions for Naples and our pizza was delicious! Our driver Catello was so fun and loved sharing details and stories about the area. Would highly recommend them.

We’re so glad we used Joe banana for our transfer from Sorrento to Rome! It’s so easy to book and we found them to be incredibly reliable. They were able to pair us with the same driver, Danilo, that had picked us up from the airport a few days earlier which we were thrilled about! The drive ended up being insanely long due to a lot of unexpected traffic but Danilo was calm and patient and just a really smooth driver. There were 6 of us and the Van was so spacious and comfortable for such a long drive. We also did a quick stop in Naples and Danilo was able to take us to a secret spot with incredible views and a delicious pizza lunch. We were so sad to say goodbye once we arrived in Rome! We got on our way and he offered water and made sure the drive was comfortable for me. He was friendly and had a good grasp of the English language. This is the way to travel from city to city in style! Vincenzo was our driver and he was so kind and accommodating. He made sure we were comfortable throughout our trip and was knowledgeable with prominent landmarks throughout the drive. We did this car transfer as well as the 50 Shades of Lemon with another driver and were so impressed with Joe Banana and their services, that we changed our plans and are now hiring them to take us from Sorrento to Rome. We decided to use Joe Banana transfer service because we didn’t want the stress of driving, trying to guide ourselves and we were able to travel all together with our luggage (3 couples) instead of renting or going in two cars. It ended up being the best decision we made. In all we had 5 transfers and Guilo and Francesco made us feel safe, taken care of and were always on time. Guilo drove us on 4 of 5 trips and he took good care of us! Maria was very prompt in checking in and making sure everything on schedule and going well. She was also wonderful to work with. Honestly cannot recommend this service enough and it likely cost us less than renting two cars. Next time we return I will do the same thing.

Daniel is the very best - he was flexible, knowledgeable, and prepared with water and snacks. He made our long drive from Sorrento to Rome fun and allowed us to stop along the way for a Pompeii tour and lunch!

Our family (6 adults) traveled from the USA to Rome. We arranged a mode of transport to Sorrento with Joe Bananas. (We scheduled a stop at the Herculaneum for 2 hrs). Rapha was delightful and full of information. Our vehicle was immaculate and very comfortable. We had also arranged for Joe Bananas to pick us up at our Sorrento hotel at the end of the week to transport us to the Naples train station where we had pre-purchased tickets. We had built in ample time, however, that morning there was a tragic accident on the road from Naples, and our driver, Angelo, was stuck in it. As we watched the minutes melt away, our window to catch the train diminished. When Angelo arrived we were on a mission to make that train. (If I could now insert the Indiana Jones music to our ride, it would be appropriate). Angelo took us through the backroads to Naples on a very windy, mountainous road . At one point we noticed a vespa in front of us leading the way. Making the turns and intersections open for us to go through. Angelo said, "That is my boss!" As we neared Naples, Giovanni, Angelo's boss called me on the phone and assured me we would make it! As we arrived at the train station, Angelo leaped into action, unloaded our luggage and ran with my sister's luggage through the train station and onto our platform. We made our train with 2 minutes to spare before the doors closed! What an adventure! Joe Bananas was incredible and I am amazed and thankful for the length they took to get us to the train station. It will be a story told by our family for a long time. Oh, did I mention their prices were the most reasonable in comparison with other transports. Joe Bananas, you're The Best!

Very professional car service. I was so last minute and they accommodated my needs without complaining. I added a stop to Pompeii during my transfer from Naples to Sorrento. And they even arranged for a guide. I used them for a full day tour of the Amalfi coast. And I also used them to transfer from Sorrento to Rome. We were 5 people with lots of luggage and did not want to deal with the train. Gianluca grew up in Sorrento and was full of knowledge. I didn’t meet Nunzia but she was my contact when booking and was very responsive.

Joe Banana was first rate in all respects. We used them for five inter-city transfers during a two-week trip. We researched and spoke with several other companies and Joe Banana was the clear winner for us. They were not the cheapest, but their customer service folks were by far the easiest to communicate with. They paid close attention to our concerns and wishes which gave us good reason to be confident they would hold up their end of the bargain. That peace of mind was worth more than the difference in price. There were eight of us, and while some of the other companies sounded like they could handle such a group with luggage in one vehicle, only Joe B convinced us they could. Every transfer was stress-free and went like clockwork. The vehicles were new, clean and extremely comfortable. The drivers all showed up several minutes early and were helpful, professional and polite. Several were extremely personable and knowledgeable and downright fun to ride with. The customer service team followed up with us during every transfer to make sure all was well. Each transfer was several hours long and involved an intermediate stop of an hour or two (at our request) at a place suggested and arranged by Joe Banana. Each stop was a very enjoyable experience and a nice break too! I could go on, but to sum up, Joe Banana was better than advertised and we will use them again if we ever return to Italy. Wow. Exceeded all expectation. This was the nicest car I have ever been in. What a pleasure to be greeted by Luca at the airport and escorted to the car. I can't say enough good things about Luca, his warm friendly greeting and conversation, and the luxury of starting my vacation on the right foot! We had a two hour stop in Pompeii, which I highly recommend if you are on your way to Sorrento. I will book Joe Banana every time I am in Italy.

I would highly recommend Joe banana limos. Every driver we had during our three encounters with Joe banana was amazing. Natalia from the company called to confirm that the driver would be waiting for us at the airport. Thankfully we did not have flight issues and our 1st driver was in fact where they said he would be with a sign for us. Each driver was extremely knowledgeable, courteous, friendly and hospitable. The cars that we rode were large Black SUVs and perfectly comfortably for our family of five and all of our suitcases fit, which if you’re trying to find a taxi or Uber like that in Italy, good luck. The drivers were kind enough to also tell us about the history, typical colloquialisms, and recommended the most delicious restaurants and scenic rooftops. The drivers made us feel safe and got us to where we needed to go each time. We also did the Herculean tour on our way to Sorrento from Naples. Our tour guide Paolo was amazing and very interactive with the kiddos. We loved it- he made it so enjoyable despite the 104 degree weather! That tour was scheduled through Joe Banana limos and I had also reserved JBL when we had to travel longer than 30 minutes. I made my reservations early because they book quickly!
